OMG!๐ฑ I freaking loved this story. ๐ฅฐ This is just the kind of story that is absolutely why I have one of the fastest one-click clicker fingers in the south. If Meagan Brandy writes I can almost guaran-damn-tee that It for sure is gonna be my jam. Crew and Davis just DID IT FOR ME! Off the charts explosive of course, but this kept just throwing my feels in a whirlwind. I wasnโt expecting that. Iโm so used to the arrogant alpha holes in MBโs books that the broken bad boy trying to overcome the past really put a hurtinโ on this galโs ticker. He melted me, made me swoon, made me pant. Everything about him just worked for me.
Davis was as sweet as candy and I loved how she felt about Crew. She was quirky and funny. ๐ Beyond beautiful both inside and out but with this innocence and radiance โ๏ธthat people are drawn to. She truly had no clue of the attention she captured from the men around her. Probably partly because as long as she could remember she could only see one and one only and that was, Crew Taylor. After he left three years ago with no contact she decided that she had a issue that needed taken care of and he was the one she needed to take care of it. She just needed to convince him to help her out. Armed with all the pros and cons, can she get this grumpy new Crew to give in to her reasoning? ย
It was emotional, swoony, forbidden, hot, angsty, and unexpected. You canโt help but to fall in love with this couple. The banter, their history, the entire journey. Discovering all the twists and truth bombs, โkindle chuckinโ in a second of pure frustrationโ times, lip biting moments of angst.
