But we’re star-crossed.Fate had decided our course.Leaving us to cling to each other as we crumbled to ash. His need became possession. My innocence turned jaded. Our families declared war.All that remained was hate. But Calder was raised by wolves. The rules didn’t apply.I was his until he said otherwise–for better or for worse. Our love story’s bathed in crimson and drenched in bullets. Because sometimes, Romeo comes with tattoos, guns, and a taste for blood.
OMG friends.I am NOT Okay!! 😭 I am literally crying for book two. I need it like I need air right now. This book will go down as one of my favorite books EVER!!
Calder and Sutton’s story part 1 is unlike anything I have ever read before. It’s emotional and exciting and heartbreaking and frustrating and inevitable. Everything about them is perfectly made for the other, even though in their worlds they should never fit together. From the first look they never had a chance of denying each other though.
I don’t want to give anything about the book away so I will just say you need to read it. All the secondary characters are amazing as well. Trilina has put her heart and soul into this book and it’s so obvious because this book is so amazing. It’s earth shattering, it will take over every emotion you have and will leave you breathless. You will not be the same after reading this book. You will be an emotional basketcase. So heed my warning. It is worth it though so read it anyway. Grab this amazing story hold on for dear life and fall in love with star crossed lovers Sutton and Calder! 😭⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️🖤😭

Marymount girls are good girls. We’re chaste, we’re untouched, and even if we weren’t, no one would know, because we keep our mouths shut.
Not that I have anything to share anyway. I never let guys go too far. I’m behaved.
Beautiful, smart, talented, popular, my skirt’s always pressed, and I never have a hair out of place. I own the hallways, walking tall on Monday and dropping to my knees like the good Catholic girl I am on Sunday.
That’s me. Always in control.
Or so they think. The truth is that it’s easy for me to resist them, because what I truly want, they can never be. Something soft and smooth. Someone dangerous and wild.
Unfortunately, what I want I have to hide. In the locker room after hours. The bathroom stall between classes. The showers after practice.
My head swimming. My hand up her skirt.
For me, life is a web of secrets. No one can find out mine.
I cross the tracks every day for one reason—to graduate from this school and get into the Ivy League. I’m not ashamed of where I come from, my family, or how everyone at Marymount thinks my skirts are too short and my lipstick is too red.
Clay Collins and her friends have always turned up their noses at me. The witch with her beautiful skin, clean shoes, and rich parents who torments me daily and thinks I won’t fight back.
At least not until I get her alone and find out she’s hiding so much more than just what’s underneath those pretty clothes.
The princess thinks I’ll scratch her itch. She thinks she’s still pure as long as it’s not a guy touching her.
I told her to stay on her side of town. I told her not to cross the tracks.
But one night, she did. And when I’m done with her, she’ll never be pure again.
*Tryst Six Venom is a standalone, new adult romance between the wealthy princess with a temper for what’s hers and the hard girl from the wrong crowd. One battles convention. The other, her pride. But nothing will stop it.

Y’all this is an amazing F/F story. Now I’m not one that ever pictured myself grabbing a f/f book but let me tell you the fact that Penelope Douglas wrote it had me intrigued. So I was all in for giving it a go. I’m so glad I did. This book was everything I hoped it would be and so so much more. Penelope Douglas killed it with this book!!
This was Clay and Liv’s story. The gorgeous rich girl and the hot theater girl from the swamp. This was the ultimate opposites attract story and a total enemies to lovers masterpiece! It was so emotionally riveting and angsty and perfectly frustrating. I loved everything about this book. All the Jaeger brothers and their protectiveness over Liv. I couldn’t put it down!! I was entranced from the moment I started.
It was smoking hot but more. This book was just a phenomenal love story. It was a perfect story about coming into your own and being happy to finally be who you are meant to be and finding your once person who helps you to do that. GAH!! It’s just so fantastic y’all!
This is definitely a must read , people. FIVE STARS!!

I stalk down the nearly empty row, drop my bag, and look at her. She turns her head, sees me and rises, grabbing her backpack, but I slide into the seat, grab her wrist, and yank her ass back down.
“Sit,” I growl through my teeth, feeling heat rise up my neck as she crashes back into the wooden pew, her jaw flexing.
There’s no point in denying myself any of this. I’m a bitch, but only to her, and only because it feels so good. Fuck it.
“Do something for me?” I ask her, keeping my voice low as students fill the rows around us, and the altar servers light the candles. “Move your ass a little faster down the field than my grandmother this Saturday, or is that too much trouble?”
Liv doesn’t look at me, just stares ahead as she lets out a quiet little laugh. “I haul ass down that field.” Relaxing back into her seat, she hangs her elbows over the back of the pew, and her shirt creeps up a little. I spot the switchblade she keeps hooked over the waist of her skirt, but hidden on the inside, that only I seem to know about. So far anyway. She goes on, “I’ll never understand how a princess who can’t pass a ball for shit and brags to anyone who will listen about being a Swiftie,” and she does air quotes, “‘even before she went pop’ is our team captain. Oh, wait. Yes, I do understand. Daddy is useful. When he’s there.”
My father didn’t get me that position. She can think what she likes.
But I grin and turn toward the front of the church, my arm brushing hers.
“Swiftie?” I say. “Aw, you stalk my Twitter.”
That was like four years ago when I said that.
But she just mumbles, “I couldn’t care less about your Twitter and your twenty-eight followers.”
“At least I don’t lose a dozen every day,” I retort.
Yeah, maybe I stalk her Twitter, too. And I don’t have twenty-eight followers. I don’t have as many as her, but it’s more than twenty-eight.
“The world just doesn’t like tattooed feminazis with hairy armpits,” I tell her, my gaze catching the dimple on her cheek as she smirks, “who pass judgments like all the other constipated Captain Americas on social media who act like they really know anything when they’re just angry their life sucks donkey nuts.”
The dimple grows deeper, her matte red lips pursing to keep her amusement at bay. My heart thumps, and for a moment, I can’t look away. Sometimes I get lost, looking at her. The shape of her nose that I’m kind of jealous of. How soft the lobe of her ear looks. The way she chews the corner of her mouth sometimes.
“Is everything okay?” someone says, snapping me out of it.
I turn my head, seeing Megan Martelle standing over us, holding a stack of collection baskets. Her blue eyes flit between Liv and me, knowing very well that this isn’t a friendly conversation, but lucky for her, this isn’t any of her damn business.
“Fine, thanks,” I reply, my tone a big enough hint she’d have to be blind to miss.
But she looks to Liv instead. “Liv?”
Excuse me? It’s not the name. It’s how she says it. Like they know each other.
Liv must give her some gesture or something, because Martelle gives me one last look and then slowly leaves, continuing down the aisle toward the back of the church without another word.
What the hell is she thinking? Does she want to become my next hobby or something?
I reach down and pull my backpack closer before turning my eyes back to Liv to see if she’s watching her leave.
But she’s staring at me instead, amusement in her eyes.
“What the hell are you smiling at?” I demand.
She never loses her cool, and it pisses me off.
But she just replies, “You have a tattoo.”
Her gaze drifts to my hand, and I squeeze my fingers together, covering it. All over again, I feel the needle carve into the inside of my middle finger on my left hand.
Fair enough. I’d mocked tattooed feminazis, an umbrella term I tossed her under, when, in fact, she doesn’t actually have any tattoos. Not even the one of her family’s little Sanoa Bay gang—the snake and hourglass that she wears on a bracelet around her wrist. Her brothers all seem to have it inked on them somewhere.
Her eyes hold mine, maybe waiting for a response or daring me for one, but the light coming in from the stained-glass windows catches the coppery glint of the strands in her dark hair, a lock hanging over her eye as the rest spills around her shoulders. A dozen or so little braids decorate her hair, none of the ends secured with rubber bands. She looks like a warrior girl in one of those futuristic dystopian movies.
And all of a sudden, nothing is hot anymore. It’s just incredibly warm.
I squeeze my fingers tighter, the lines inked on the inside of my finger making the four quarters of an inch on a ruler, very few ever notice the lines, and those who do probably just assume I’ve leaked pen on myself.
Within that inch we are free. One inch.
“Clay?” she says, her tone different.
I don’t realize I’m staring off until I bring my eyes back into focus and see the black of her Polo shirt. I lift my gaze, seeing a worried expression on hers.
Her eyes shift to my hand on the pew in front of us, and I notice that it’s shaking.
“You okay?” she asks.
I inhale hard, angry at myself. Why would I not be okay?
She grabs my backpack. “You need one of your little blue pills?”
But I snatch the pack out of her hands and glare at her. “If you let her touch you,” I bite out, changing the subject. “She will live to regret it. I don’t even have to leave this seat to ruin her life.”
Liv looks back at me, and I want to get closer—get in her face, because I want a reaction.
“She won’t be able to take it,” I growl in a low voice. “I will keep going until she can’t take it.”
I can ruin anyone’s life from my phone. It would be fun. And easy.
“You’re not embarrassing our team,” I finally tell her.
Megan was flirting yesterday. There’s no way in hell that’s happening.
She holds my gaze and then draws in a breath, another fucking air of delight written all over her stupid, fucking face. “I don’t like women who chase me anyway,” she says. “When I want them, they know.”
A tingle spreads up my spine, and when I expect to feel anger at her boldness, something else comes over me instead.
When I want them, they know. How do they know? What does she do?
But she rises from her seat without elaborating. “Excuse me,” she says, and takes her bag, trying to leave.
But I stomp down the kneeler, grab her wrist, and yank her to her knees. She sucks in a breath as she catches herself on the pew in front of her, and I pick up my backpack and rise.
“Sit your ass down,” I grit out.
I don’t stay to see her reaction. I spin around, ignoring the spying eyes from those around us, and leave the chapel just as Mass begins.

She lives in Las Vegas with her husband and their daughter.
Two years ago, Reed Jackson betrayed Calliope Thorne and broke her heart. So she stole his most prized possession – a white mustang – and drove it into the lake for revenge. Now, Callie is stuck at a reform school while Reed is off at college, living his life without repercussions. Until he comes back. With him comes back all the feelings that Callie has been trying to bury: anger and heartbreak. But most of all, desire. At the sight of his beautiful but lying lips and his gunmetal gray eyes that still taunt and smolder when he looks at her. Whatever though. It’s not as if Callie is ever going to fall for her ex-boyfriend again. Or let him corner her in a bar one night and touch her, kiss her… Neither is she going to kiss him back. Or worse, sleep with him. Because that would make her naïve and foolish. Oh, and also pregnant. And there’s no way Callie is ever going to get pregnant at eighteen and with Reed’s baby, no less. The guy she hates. The guy who taught her all about heartbreak. Who might look like a gorgeous hero but really is the villain of her story. NOTE: This story is a standalone and does not contain cheating.
Holy moly!!! Talk about a fairy bringing the villain to his knees. Now I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting when I went into this book but this was more than. It was frustratingly angsty. I spent much of this book anticipating the moment when Callie and Reed would get it together. If they’d ever get it together. I loved the push and pull and underlying tension between them for much of this book. It brought such a dark sexiness to the background of everything that was going on and made me hope against all hope that they would be able to work out their crap. There was just something that made you sympathetic to Callie because of the way Reedhad hurt her, and there was definitely something that made your heart bleed for Reed.
Reed Roman Jackson is legit the villain of my dreams. He’s hot, rich and alpha AF. He’s super protective of his Fae and he’s self punishing to the nth degree. I loved how he said he didn’t love anything or anyone but you could just tell he had this huge capacity to love if he could only realize it.
Calliope Thorne’s character was so perfectly written and perfect for the heroine to compliment Reed Roman Jackson. This tiny fiery ballerina with so much spirit and love to give and not a bit of fear when it came to standing up to the big huge men in her life.
Now the first ⅓ of this book is the prequel, The Wild Mustang and the Dancing Fairy. Then the rest is two years after the incident that happens in the prequel. Get ready to see some big time character growing, especially in the last ⅓ of this book. There is so much in the story that finally explains why our Wild Mustang is the way he is, and why he is unable to love anyone. Or has he finally found the ones he loves more than anything?
I’m obsessed with the level of alpha/possessiveness. It’s fanning yourself over and over, sweating and jaw dropping kinda hot. I Love it so much!

⭐️ Star Rating- ✨✨✨✨ ½ This is definitely a must read for second chance, enemies to lovers, NA, angst lovers, hot baby daddy lovin’ fans.
♨️ Flames of heat- 🔥🔥🔥 This is not a book full of sexy scenes but the tension is super nice. There are a couple of hot scenes that will get ya excited but there’s definitely lots of great build up!
🌪 Cliffhanger Warning– NO CLIFFHANGER! Perfect HEA and teeny taste of what’s to come in Bronywn’s book! I can’t wait!
Blurb:Betraying the most powerful man in New York wasn’t something I ever envisioned when I first started playing games with Winston Constantine. But he’s engaged in far more dangerous games than ours, and his enemies are out for blood.Winston has my heart, the Morellis have incriminating photos, and I’m left with nothing except three stepbrothers who want to hurt me and a future in doubt. I knew Winston wouldn’t be my prince charming, but that didn’t stop me from falling for him. After all, the slippers fit, and I let myself believe I’d be dancing with Winston forever.Until too much truth comes to light.Until I realize instead of ruling the board, I was just a pawn.In the end, I have only one question. When his game with me is over, will I be able to pretend as if the glass slipper wasn’t a perfect fit?
K. Webster just killed it with this trilogy y’all! This trilogy was perfection, yall! I was so excited to get this final book. Nowon on hand I was on the edge of my seat wondering what all was going to happen and couldn’t wait to see this all play out. Then on the other hand I was dreading the end because I didn’t ever want to let these characters go.
Ash was the Yin to Win’s Yang. In each they had found their perfect person, their everything, they had found their “ride or die.” I think Ash knew It earlier that Win but patience is a virtue that she does possess so she waited for him to realize it.
This book picked up right at the end of Prince Charming and so we’re are reading about the fallout from that even and the crap storm that comes afterwards. I won’t give you anything specific but I will just say that conflict between the Constantine’s and the Morielli’s. Holy Cow! Win fighting his true feelings, amAsh trying to convince him not to fight them. All the fighting among rival families, to the lies betrayal that they never expected from some of their closest allies. This made this angst fest all the more delicious.
Make sure you grab this fantastic trilogy today. This has some of the coolest elements of Cinderella but with a fresh new original take on it. They have to endure lots of ups downs, twists and turns to get to their HEA. So Binge This Series Today!! It’s just another testament to the fact that K. Webster can write absolutely ANYTHING.

It’s devastating and enraging. One minute my heart is all ooey gooey and the next I’m all ragey. It.Was.Awesome.lol
The entire cast of secondary characters are amazingly written, from Winson’s brother Perry and his orange abomination , Ash’s dad broke my heart in this book, and most of all my homie bird Shrimp!! They all all made this book unpredictable, unputdownable, and unforgettable.
🔥Fire/Heat- 🔥🔥🔥🔥There is no doubt that Winston and Ash are OFF THE CHARTS! Perfectly matched deviants in the sheets. Whew doggy. I’m still fanning myself with an old funeral home fan down here in the south. ( that’s how we do it in GA)

OMG!!OKAY! I am positively sure this just took the spot as my number one favorite Holly Renee book and now I am on pins and needles for book 2. I need it like I need air, like a fat girl needs cake, like a drifter lost at sea with no horizon in sight. I need to be put out of my misery because I just fell in Insta love, to hate, in lust, back in love then to heartbreak. All that magic in the span of the few hours it took me to devour this fantasticness.
This book was a literary bouquet of all the things I love about reading. I couldn’t contain my butterflies during their first chance meeting. Then Holly went and turned it up and all that enemies to lovers golden goodness started pouring out and shredded my poor heart. 💔Beck and Josie’s story is addictive and woo hoo, GLORY B, it’s not done being told. I am so not ready to let them go. 🤗From page one my fate was sealed and I was OBSESSED with this story. GAH!! I got it bad for my boy Beck.
Holly crafted the most perfectly phenomenal star crossed enemies to lovers tale filled with secrets, lies, and deception at the hands of the wealthy, elite, and entitled youths of this gorgeous seaside town. I have a feeling book one has just barely scratched the surface of all Holly is planning to throw at us and I for one can’t wait! This was unputdownable. Fair warning this book does end on a cliffhanger but it’s so frustratingly good.
Cr8zysock Breaks it down for y’all!
Six ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sinfully dark and Swoony Stars! This book full wealth, power, and privilege, sex, lies and mystery! It has IT ALL!
🔥🔥🔥🔥Beck and Josie are hotter than the seventh circle of Hades. Hotter than a cast iron skillet straight out of the oven. So really freakin Hot Y’all!
🌪 THAT CLIFFY THOUGH, y’all🌪 I am so wondering what’s going to happen?!

He’s right in front of me, but he’s just as remote as my dreams of getting away from my stepbrothers. I keep playing his twisted games, and I want to stay just as distant as he is. But I can’t. I never could. I’ve fallen for him. Hopelessly. Irrevocably. But Winston isn’t a lover, he’s a business venture.A way for me to pay for college.A ticket out. He’s never pretended to be anything other than that.I can’t blame him for making me fall in love. There can be no happily ever after between a maid and a prince, no matter what the stories say.
Winston, as charming and gorgeous as ever and his maid Ash Elliott his “Cinderelliott.” his perfectly filthy perverse partner. I think it is obvious that both have much growing feelings for the other, but only one is more comfortable owning that they do.
You will be instantly allured by Ash and her foul mouthed fairy god daddy as they continue on with their money making taboo and deviant arrangement that works out to be mutually beneficial for both of them. I enjoy every second of reading how they work out the kinks in their arrangement as they go along. 😏 Unfortunately she now has some making up to do thanks to her monstrous step brothers and Leo Morelli.
Ash and Winston continue to test their boundaries of what society would consider morally acceptable, but at least in their circles have gained the respect of Ash while others continue to hold their particular desires over their heads. What started out as an agreement with no feelings involved, seems like it could be turning into something completely different, but will happen when Win feels as though Ash has committed the ultimate betrayal?
The entire cast of secondary characters, from Winson’s brother Perry, brother Keaton and sister, Tinsley who all seem to be #TeamAshWin help make this story unputdownable, and unforgettable but also heartbreaking at the cliffy in the end.
This book has so much going on with our fierce and feisty heroine Ash to the alphahole Winston who’s sweeter sides we are finally seeing. You will run the gamut of emotions. The bold warning that blared like sirens around me at the indecent attraction for my roommate’s father.
It was improper and forbidden.
I was hungry for attention. Determined. And he was an appetite that needed to be fulfilled.
I told myself just once, but now that I’ve gotten a taste, there’s no turning back now.
She made a mistake taunting me.
Thinking she could handle a man like myself. I shouldn’t have allowed her so close. A stronger man would have denied her.
But I’m a bad bad man.
And if I had any willpower of staying away from this illicit attraction…
It’s gone now.
Bad Daddy was next level hot and yet a little bit sweet too. Heath Winter’s was everything. Rich, gorgeous, doting father, COMPLETELY FORBIDDEN AND OFF LIMITS.
From the first second Violet saw him she was hooked. Instantly enthralled. This book was super fast paced, addictive, smokin hot with just enough swoon to melt you into a puddle of goo and with you had a Daddy Winter’s of your own. Violet was sexy and sassy and her new college roommate and her deliciously dirty daddy, instantly became everything to her.
Hazel, her BFF and Heath, quickly became everything she had ever wanted and more. The hidden encounters, the after hours video chats. GAH!! I couldn’t get enough.
I was getting the drift something was up with her bestie pretty quickly. She seemed so secretive and I’m dying for the next book to see what happens when her truth comes out.
If you love age-gap, daddy dom, just overall fire of hades kinda hot and sexy stories grab this book, it does end on a bit of a cliffhanger 🌪 but more with her best friend Hazel. Four fantastically filthy stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It only cares about the sacrifice I’ll make to close it.As the bruising dark of Samhain approaches, so does the fate of our circle, of Thornchapel and the village and the valley beyond it. And I must don the crown, because one thing is still true, even if I must face it alone. Here at Thornchapel, the kings must go to the door. Here at Thornchapel, all kings must die.
I’m a conflict of emotions right now y’all! Door of Bruises is the fourth and final book in the Thornchapel Series. I couldn’t help wondering exactly what lied ahead for our beloved characters. I knew there was a chance that outcome that might not be what I would choose had left me concerned for months. So while I am so sad to see this series come to an end, I was left terrified at the end of Harvest of Sighs so I’m glad to have had my resolution. Yet, still now that it’s all over, I’m somewhat perplexed by my feelings. Ultimately I’m happy with the ending I got, but it’s not as it thought it would be. I was left with some unanswered questions, but that was to prove a point, so I get it. But Sierra Simone is known for her daring and non-typical approach to her stories and the ending and epilogue is what you get in Door of Bruises. I guess that is the better way to put it, it was anything by typical but honestly it needed to be this way. I have spun it in my mind so many times, I think it had to go the way it did. Ultimately for four books she was preparing us for this.
Door of Bruises takes us back to Thornchapel. Back to this beautiful world Sierra Simone has created for us. A world where six uniquely different but inexplicably drawn to one another wonderful characters are. They find themselves called back to the rituals even their parents had been celebrating on the same land for years. Since the first book we have had more secrets, more lies and more kink than ever unfolding all to lead us here. Just when everyone has found their place and things seemed okay a secret door 🚪 appears and changed everything.
Now we find characters agonizing over what to do about the strange door that has appeared and curious over the other strange phenomena🥀🚪🤒☠️ that’s also starting happening in town surrounding Thornchapel. They are worried but have no choice but to batten down their hatches and try to find out all the information they can about what history says about the door, so they start scouring the library for answers. I’m not gonna give anymore away I will just say, you will get everything you love with this series. Plus more!
All the Sex, secrets, mystery, love, kink, heartache and forgiveness. It will bring you both pleasure and pain as you take this emotional journey with Beckett, Rebecca, Delphine, St.Sebastian, Proserpina and our pouty peacoat wearing Auden. Prepare to cry the last chapter or two, I know I sure did!!
Sierra Simone is phenomenal. She gave us a perfect tale of love, lust, respect, kink and trust between these friends that allows them to explore far beyond who they really are as just being friends. What an amazing collaboration of intriguing old tales, folklore and biblical stories all weaved together with her own storytelling and vision is just mind blowing. It blows me away with her brilliance. I’m literally awe struck. If you have read this series, START TODAY!! If you have then finish strong my friends. Five Weeping Rose Petal Stars ⭐️🥀⭐️🥀⭐️🥀⭐️🥀⭐️

About the Author: Sierra Simone is a USA Today Bestselling former librarian (who spent too much time reading romance novels at the information desk.) She lives with her husband and family in Kansas City.
Track down what was hidden away and take pleasure in toying with it.
Toying with her.
That plan, it worked like a charm.
Until it didn’t.
Turned out, the feisty little thing I found was far from what I hoped for.
She was different from all I knew and more than I expected.
She was light, and I’m the bastard who led her into darkness.
But this girl… she followed with a smile.
I told her I break pretty things.
She asked me to promise.
OMG!! Break Me! Royce Brayshaw is something else. Break Me it did indeed. Royce and Brielle broke me over and over again. I think I knew even before I read this book that I was going to truly take the most special, most spectacular of heroines to tame our Uncle Bro.
He is the most rowdy, the most broken, the one with arguably the biggest heart. His journey to love was gonna to be full of angst, heartache and, frustration and fears. For such a broken boy as he, we just knew he would fight like hell not to be vulnerable.
Brielle was absolutely the perfect match “Tink” for Royce her “Lost Boy” in every single way! She was feisty and sassy and for all intents and purposes she had every right to give life the big ol’ middle finger but she was still a total sweetheart. With Royce she definitely gave as good as she got, but he totally needed to be put in his place that way. He needed a girl that would verbally spar with him not just roll over and smile and bat her eyes at everything he said. I’m so sad to see the end of this series but couldn’t have been happier with Royce’s ending. I cried SO many times during this book.
This was a hard fought battle to HEA. It’s hard when people don’t think they are deserving of the good things that come their way. My poor heart. I didn’t know how much more I could take. But like she always does, Meagan Brandy being the perfect craftswoman of words she is, brings us to the brink, emotionally breaking us before she will perfectly put us back together again in the end. Get ready to feel all the feelings! Love, frustration, heat, sex, lies, surprises, tears, forgiveness. Just everything. A bunch of constellations of stars for Royce and Brielle!! 🌌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m here for it all! 😍😭♥️🔥♥️😍
“What do you know about being a BrayGirl?”
I open my mouth to respond, but he speaks again before I’m able.
“Be straight-up with me, little Bishop,” he warns. “No bullshit.”
I lay out what I’ve learned. “I know it’s what people call the girls who spend their nights with you or your brothers, or anyone who has earned the Brayshaw name.”
“Morning, afternoons, we ain’t picky on time of day, baby girl.” He’s angry and hard focused. “Keep going.”
“It’s a girl who is on lockdown. Untouchable to everyone, watched by all to keep her from doing things a Bray wouldn’t like or things she shouldn’t. Basically, she’s bound in bubble wrap, only to be undone by her man.”
“Temporary man,” he fires off.
“Right.” I shake my head in disdain. “Because she’s good enough for his bed, but not his heart.”
