Rhode’s and Rylee are just remarkable. Separately I love them both. Together I am OBSESSED! They are both suffering over a recent tragedy that affected them both. When they meet let’s just say it’s almost loathe at first sight. They both are definitely attracted to each other but are trying to keep things strictly professional… that is until they can’t control themselves anymore. They are just explosively HAWT!!🔥 I mean DAAANNNNGGGG! Rylee was so sassy yet strong at the same time. Rhodes was alpha and grumpy, but also oh so swoony. So well written it scorched up the pages and sucked me right into this storyline. A smoking hot and swoony sweet story that while has the element of “will they get caught by the brother/best friend” it is a low angst story without a lot of OM/OW drama. Truly Authors Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black have such great writing chemistry the story flows flawlessly. Now I’m not sure if they just write the entire thing together or switch off chapters or if one takes one character’s POV and the other takes the others but either way I cannot tell which is which if they are.. So they definitely rocked it out all around in my opinion. I loved all the characters in this book. They were just “Chefs kiss 💋 ”The secondary ones as well. ( crossing my fingers for more from these character’s) Definitely pick up this and let Brock and Joey…Tell You Their Story!

If Meagan Brandy writes I can almost guaran-damn-tee that It for sure is gonna be my jam. Crew and Davis just DID IT FOR ME! Off the charts explosive of course, but this kept just throwing my feels in a whirlwind. I wasn’t expecting that. I’m so used to the arrogant alpha holes in MB’s books that the broken bad boy trying to overcome the past really put a hurtin’ on this gal’s ticker. He melted me, made me swoon, made me pant. Everything about him just worked for me.
Davis was as sweet as candy and I loved how she felt about Crew. She was quirky and funny. 💗 Beyond beautiful both inside and out but with this innocence and radiance ☀️that people are drawn to. HOLY MIND CLICKETY- CLUCK MY FRIENDS!! This amazingly unforgettable story has got me so twisted and turned inside out. I legit had to sit back a while and just process my feelings on this one. Honestly, I’m still processing, still heavily feeling and quite tender and emotional still. This story was phenomenally incredible. I’m getting choked up because It was just truly remarkable. A brave and daring and non-traditional take on a dark and thrilling romance. Addicted from the first page this story is both chilling and eerie, but also emotional, original, steamy. A book that Is not soon to leave my head or the reeling it has my mind in, so trying to wrap my head around exactly how I am feeling so that I could even begin to convey this to others has been quite the chore, because the thing is… You know what they say about assuming?! Lol But alas, I went into this book assuming I was getting a certain type of story and to be honest, this was anything BUT the assumptions I had set up in my own head going in. ( To me this turned out to be a good thing)
Now without giving any spoilers away, let me just tell you what I did to myself here. Based on blurb alone here I jumped in thinking, m’kay so this is probably some type of prison pen pal love story. This is my first book by this author, but I have heard great things and she’s been on my TBR for awhile. So when this opportunity presented itself I scooped up the chance to read this sucker, and dove right in when the ARC appeared.
It certainly didn’t take long before I realized this book had this whole dark and eerie tone to it. BTW, I was absolutely here for it too! I was like yeah this is going to be more mysterious/suspenseful, probably some thriller action. I was excited to see how the dark romance was going to tie in. But as soon as the story got going I was just entranced y’all. I am talking about smokin’ hot scenes. Like hotter than a big ‘ol pan of biscuits and gravy right off the stove. The dirty talkin’, oh my word, the dirty talkin’. Put a fork in me because I was done. I mean our couple were just EVERYTHING I wanted them to be.
This story takes you on a journey and when you feel like you might be getting a grip on some of what’s going on, your world will be shattered, you will realize nothing is what It seemed and It’s better to just roll with the waves, instead of trying to swim against the current.
Now here is where reviews are mixed… Either you are happy with what the author did here, or it seems readers just can’t. ME, I happened to have absolutely LOVED what this author did with this book. When I started feeling like “ no, way.” “No you aren’t girl.” “You are, aren’t you?” I didn’t know how I felt about that, but when the book was all done. I sat back, with tears in my eyes, and all I could think was WOW! BRAVO! While this wasn’t what I went into this book expecting this to be, I was absolutely blown away by this story. By this author’s writing. Her ability to sweep me into this story. I went through all the emotions a person can feel while reading this story and am still after. Now, let’s talk about that ending. I know reference to a HEA has been mentioned. Does this story have a HEA? Well, no. Not in the traditional romance genre HEA. But In my opinion and for me, yes absolutely. I felt that the ending for me was as HEA. Without giving any spoilers for this book, these characters, and their journey, I think their ending is as happy an ever after as I hope mine would be in the same situation.

FABULOUSLY FLOORED!! 🤯 That is just one of the ways to describe how I’m feeling. This book, the ending to this unforgettably magnificent series has got me feeling all kinds of ways. I have always been one who would never turn down an Amo Jones book, but y’all, Y’ALL!! 🫶🏻 I am blown away by the brilliance and talent this author poured out on the pages of In Chaos We Reign. Her ability to take me into this dark and ominous world she’s created. The eerie feelings of mystery, all the lies, and tons of secret twists and turns will keep you entranced and on the edge of your seat. 🙀This tale is deliciously dark and deviantly dirty. A twisted, gritty and gruesome tale, totally fitting for our Ice Princess, Cartier and her forbidden beau, Keaton. Their story as unique and tragically twisted as those before them is one of my favorites. The deep depravity and hidden lies behind these two. But the way they are when its just the two of them. OMG! I am not gonna give away anything more than that.
Amo concludes her Midnight Mayhem world in the way only she can. I do wish I had time to refresh my memories and reread all the other three books in the series again before reading ICWR. I think it would have made some things a bit clearer. I had to do some mind searching. lol Unpredictable, mesmerizing, explosive, alluring, and addictive! I will never forget this series. It is officially one of my all time favorites and one I will reread over and over again. I will warn you It is at times gruesome and graphic. If you have triggers I would recommend checking trigger warnings but If you are like me just jump right in and ENJOY!! All the stars for this phenomenally awesome series.⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨

Chapter One Cartier Sixteen years old I remember the first time I realized my brother was crazy. I’ve handled this school since my parents dumped me in it when Kyrin threw a fit to keep me away from Mayhem, and I will continue to handle it when he goes back on the road. Right now, I need peace. I need to feel nothing. See nothing. Hear nothing. They say drowning is the most peaceful death, I can imagine why. After being suffocated from oxygen for minutes, you welcome the feeling of numbness. Like now. Void. Stuck between a realm of life and death, I could float and hold my breath until I simply… die. A hand is around my throat, pulling me out of my haze and I swipe water from my face angrily when I resurface. “What the fuck!” As soon as my eyes open, they land on Keaton, one of the four Brothers of Kiznitch. Fight probably more than any of the other brothers, Kyrin not included. “What the fuck, Keaton?” I glare up at him while leaning back against the curve of the bath, flicking my toe against the faucet to turn the hot water back on. I see him dip to a kneeling position out of the corner of my eye, when his fingers curl around my chin, forcing my face to his. I hold my breath when his eyes settle on mine. Keaton is the scariest of all The Brothers—to everyone but me. Darkness hovers over him everywhere he goes, and no matter what he does, he’ll never be rid of it. Torment swims beneath the surface of his god-like features, and it has always bothered me that I can never take it away. No one can. “Was there anyone else involved?” His voice is low enough to be a warning. I find myself losing my train of thought when I trace the edges of his naturally swollen lips. “No,” I whisper, only it comes out broken from the saliva forming in my throat. I have loved every single book so far in the Eden’s series and frankly couldn’t wait for Talia’s turn after the glimpses we’ve had of her in the previous books. Author Devney Perry did not disappoint with Talia and Foster’s heart wrenching journey back together after seven years apart and a lot of bitterness, hurt, lies, and misunderstandings.

Which is awesome because I am never going to want to part with this series. I will go back for a total series reread at some point for sure. This book broke my heart just as much as it healed it. This standalone with interconnecting characters told in alternating dual POV’s is a great addition to the series. You can start with Garnet Flats or start at the beginning with Juniper Hill today. I already can’t wait for the next book, Jasper Vale.

OH MY WORD! I love a good ‘ol heart melting single dad romance. Especially if he happens to be the doting daddy of a little girl. 💕 Like for real. I’m legit a goner for a girl dad. 🥺 I’m sure it probably has to do with the fact that I was the oldest of three girls raised by a single dad, and a through and through Daddy’s girl until the day he died, so I was instantly drawn into everything about this story.

Ford Dalton is EVERYTHING!🥰 He is sexy, smart, and successful. He’s got a big heart and a big um… 🥵 He is a swoony, charming, dirty talking tall drink of water. He is an amazingly devoted single father who’s entire world is wrapped around his little girl. It has always just been the two of them, other than a little help with Everly from his mom and cousin Hannah. He’s truly a family man through and through and he really hasn’t felt like he was missing out on anything… Until he meets Sydney. Although it seems as though she just might be the one to finally change his mind on his hesitation to relationships. When he finds out that she is the top contender in the running for the nanny position for his daughter, Ford draws the line. Either they move forward and see where their relationship can go or they stop and Syd proceeds as Everly’s nanny. There really is only one choice, the most important person of all has to be the priority.
Sydney is the BEST!😘 She is young and vibrant. Beautiful, patient and lots of fun to be around. She radiates warmth and love and has the biggest and most unselfish heart. She is young and still working out what she wants her path in life to look like. But at the same time she is able to be mature for her age but also simultaneously youthful and brings an energy that makes those around her happy. She naturally does sweet gestures and things for people to show how much she cares for them. You can’t help but love her character and almost forget she’s a character and not my friend IRL.
The Single Dad is the third standalone in the Dalton Brothers series. You don’t have to have read the others but they are good books and have crossover characters from the previous books so If you have the time I would recommend checking them out. Ford has come along and pushed his two brothers right on out and became my favorite Dalton brother. FOR SURE. This entire book had me captivated. Between the heart melting daddy/daughter moments, the effervescent and unforgettable Everly filled ones, the charming moments, the steamy moments, the fun, flirty, and fantastically witty banter filled moments.
I just couldn’t get enough. I hung on every word. From the banging first night to the twist later on, all the way to the perfect HEA. It’s a YES🤩 from Me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
