Crew Taylor is the picture of perfection, if gruff, grumpy, and prone to throw a punch is your type. Clearly, it’s mine or I wouldn’t be begging him to bite the bullet and claim my virginity as his own.
Sure, he’s a bit of a caveman, broody and bossy and oh so naughty, but that’s sort of the point.
He’s experienced, his heated hazel eyes promising sinful skills in seduction, and I want him to teach me all he knows.
Lesson by lesson.
Night after night.
He says he won’t allow me in his bed … but I wonder what it would take to get him to play in mine a bit?
OMG!😱 I freaking loved this story. 🥰 This is just the kind of story that is absolutely why I have one of the fastest one-click clicker fingers in the south. If Meagan Brandy writes I can almost guaran-damn-tee that It for sure is gonna be my jam. Crew and Davis just DID IT FOR ME! Off the charts explosive of course, but this kept just throwing my feels in a whirlwind. I wasn’t expecting that. I’m so used to the arrogant alpha holes in MB’s books that the broken bad boy trying to overcome the past really put a hurtin’ on this gal’s ticker. He melted me, made me swoon, made me pant. Everything about him just worked for me.
Davis was as sweet as candy and I loved how she felt about Crew. She was quirky and funny. 💗 Beyond beautiful both inside and out but with this innocence and radiance ☀️that people are drawn to. She truly had no clue of the attention she captured from the men around her. Probably partly because as long as she could remember she could only see one and one only and that was, Crew Taylor. After he left three years ago with no contact she decided that she had a issue that needed taken care of and he was the one she needed to take care of it. She just needed to convince him to help her out. Armed with all the pros and cons, can she get this grumpy new Crew to give in to her reasoning?
It was emotional, swoony, forbidden, hot, angsty, and unexpected. You can’t help but to fall in love with this couple. The banter, their history, the entire journey. Discovering all the twists and truth bombs, “kindle chuckin’ in a second of pure frustration” times, lip biting moments of angst. Plus a fantastic cast of secondary characters that I adore beyond measure. Here are just a few of the tasty morsels this genre smorgasbord will be bringing your way. 🍪🍭🍩🍬🍫

From the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of 44 Chapters About 4 Men (inspiration for the Netflix Original series Sex/Life) comes a dark mafia romance steeped in Irish folklore.
I can’t remember anymore if my grandfather’s eyes were blue or green, but I’ll never forget the way they wrinkled at the corners when he laughed at one of his own jokes. Or the way they sparkled with mischief when he told me tales about the magical creatures that dwelled in the forest behind his humble Irish sheep farm–shy fairies who liked to eat tea biscuits, cruel witches who liked to eat children, a moody lake spirit with a taste for expensive gifts.
As a child, I believed every fantastical word. But when he warned me about the mute boy who also lurked in those woods, the one the priest had declared to be the spawn of Satan himself, I refused to listen. Kellen wasn’t evil. He was kind, and beautiful, and special, and hurting. He was my friend. And with every summer I spent stolen away with him in those enchanted woods, he grew to become so much more.
But when I return to Glenshire as an adult, grieving and engaged to someone else, all those legends quickly morph into nightmares.
My grandfather had been right about everything, especially the boy.
If only I had listened.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: Devil of Dublin is intended for mature audiences who enjoy extremely dark subject matter, high emotional intensity, explicit adult content, graphic violence, heart-pounding suspense, fairy-tale worthy love, and gorgeous Irish scenery. If that sounds like you, then welcome to Glenshire! If you’re unsure, please review the comprehensive content warning on my website before reading.

Holy Flippin’ Four Leaf Clovers!🍀 Devil of Dublin has me DEAD. 💀Like put a fork in me I am absolutely D-O-N-E, done. This stand-alone, full length, dark mafia romance is a thrilling genre bending tale by the incredibly talented BB Easton. Told in dual POV this is a story that’s both unique and unforgettable. Gritty and gripping to its very core it will gut you. There is violence, darkness, suspense, beautiful Irish setting, and a mystical feel to it with some old Irish folklore. I wasn’t even sure quite what I was expecting going in but I can tell you whatever it was this book by far surpassed it, AND MORE. This book was everything I was looking for to break up the lighter sports romances, and romcoms I have been reading of late. Not that I don’t enjoy them, I do. But I’m a dark reader at heart. 🖤 (Because I’m naturally sunshiney IRL☀️). I’m really glad that Devil of Dublin was able to fully send me reeling deep down in the dark romance hole where I usually hang with the other disturbed folks like myself. 😈
Darby Collins goes to Ireland for the first time as a young child. Folklore sends her on a quest through the woods. While wandering she finds a boy named Kellan. Kellan definitely has some issues going on, but Darby sees something in him, and he in her. Over the years Darby visits and the two grow closer. She is light where he is dark. Although Intensely connected from the beginning, the summer visits come to a stop after a few years. After that these two both underwent some tragic and horrific things which had significant impacts on the people they became as adults.
When life brings them back into each other’s lives it is a crazy emotional ride. I loved these character’s. Their complexities, the depth to them. The things they went through, my god. It was raw and smacked you with blunt force. This book was dark mafia deliciousness and made me gasp as much as my heart raced. I was breathless with anticipation and then my heart melted over these characters. While the journey was not always pretty, that was for sure. It was necessary for them to go through it all to end up right where they did. And that my friends was where they were always meant to be. 🥰

The Rain Trilogy—a dark, immersive, end-of-the-world romance—was BB’s first work of fiction. Or at least, that’s what she thought when she wrote it in 2019. Then, 2020 hit, and all of her dystopian plot points started coming true. Hoping to fix everything, BB returned with a fun, feel-good romantic comedy called Group Therapy, but alas, the world is still on fire … and so is BB’s desire to write intense, us-against-the-world romances. Her next release,Devil of Dublin, is a dark Irish mafia romance steeped in folklore and family secrets.
Pieces of a Life, part one in an all new duet in the Life series by Jewel E. Ann is now live!
The summer before fourth grade, Colten Mosley moved into the house across the street from mine, and we became inseparable.
He played the piano and baseball. I had a penchant for dead things while at the same time imagining what it would be like to kiss Colten. We were filled with curiosity and overly active imaginations.
We were also forbidden to be more than friends. But that didn’t stop us.
Weeks before graduation, he annihilated my heart, and it’s been seventeen years since the day I knew I’d hate him forever.
Now he’s back in my life–a single dad and a homicide detective looking over my shoulder while I perform autopsies as one of Chicago’s most gifted forensic pathologists. Then fate throws us a curveball.
Colten saves my life, but he can’t erase the images that now keep me awake at night. And I can’t explain them.
Am I still the girl he’s always loved? Or nothing more than pieces of that life?

Holy Cow my mind is a jumbled mess right now, and I love it! I’m convinced Jewel. E. Ann could write anything and I would devour it. Rom com, yep. Contemporary, absolutely. Romantic suspense, yes please. Her grocery list, all signs point to yes. Anything and everything. Her latest story, Pieces of a Life, book three in the Life series, is just another example of the magnificence of her writing. Her ability to get quickly immerse readers in the story never ceases to amaze me. I know from the very beginning I fell hard and fast for Colten and Josie and couldn’t wait to read their history leading up to present day that has brought these once childhood sweethearts back into each other’s lives. One wanting nothing more that to get back what they lost seventeen years ago. The other set on not giving in to the one that destroyed their heart all those years ago.
Detective Colten Mosley is fantastic at his job. That job brings him face to face with the one person he’s never really gotten over, the only person he has truly ever loved. Also the person whose heart he obliterated in senior year of high school. Josie Watts was his best friend growing up, until she was his everything. He has always known that given the chance he would never let her go again. No matter what.
Josephine Watts was a feisty and inquisitive girl when she was young. She definitely had unique interests. But she has always been unapologetically who she is. As she got older the dynamics between her and Colten changed and they became so much more. She thought they were planning a future together but apparently the only future he had in store for her was heartache.
Seventeen years later both are back in their home town both successful in their careers. Career fields that put them in contact with each other on the regular. Push and pull and old feelings resurface. Then an event noone could have expected. I was left breathless, warring with what is happening and what it means for the future for Colten and Josie. I am obsessed with this duet already and CANNOT WAIT for the conclusion.

Jewel is a Wall Street Journal & USA Today bestselling author with a quirky sense of humor. When she’s not saving the planet one tree at a time, you can find her role modeling questionable behavior to her three boys, binge-watching Netflix with her husband, and writing mind-bending romance.
Overhearing my cousin’s best friend confessing that she’s never been satisfied wasn’t my fault… but offering to help her change that definitely was. Her brother is a friend of mine, and while this has a bad idea written all over it, it doesn’t stop us from becoming friends… with benefits.
Palmer is gorgeous, off-limits, and stubborn as hell. For the first time, I’m the one left wanting more.
I’m tired of watching her walk away. I’m ready for her to stay.
I never dreamed having my crush overhear my most embarrassing confession would land me in his bed… or that I would want to stay there.
But our secret relationship has rules. No strings. No expectations. No feelings. What’s that saying about rules? Oh yeah, they’re meant to be broken.
But when it comes to Brooks, I’m afraid if I’m not the one to walk away, it won’t be just the rules broken.
Well I thought I was hopelessly devoted to Deacon. ( Never with Me) I just knew I was utterly obsessed with Orrin.(Stay Always) But without a doubt I can say “ Move Y’all, Get Out The Way.” Because be still my heart, ♥️ I have been Bewitched by Brooks. His and Palmer’s story is steamy, sweet and totally swoony. In typical Kaylee Ryan fashion you get fantastically fun and flirty times, a great cast of secondary characters, a romantic and heartfelt story that is sure to melt both your heart and your kindle.
Stay Over, the first FULL LENGTH book in the Kincaid brother series, is a standalone but has characters we met briefly in both Never with Me, Deacon and Ramsey’s story. As well as Stay Over, Orrin and Jade’s novella. In Never with Me we are first introduced to the Kincaid brothers. Nine gorgeous and charming Georgia boys. I am already in love with them all and cannot wait to devour each and every one of their stories.Unique and amazing men each with his own story to tell but fiercely loyal to their family. The supportive way they jump in to be there for each other. Oh My Heart.
😭“Not just today, but today and all of the tomorrows. We’re here for you.”
Palmer is a sweet and sassy photographer. She’s the youngest sister of Deacon and Ramsey is her best friend. She is really proud of herself for getting her brother and best friend together, but hasn’t seemed to have that same kind of luck in her own love life. Plus she was really focused on her career and the guy she had the longest running crush on is her brother’s best friend, Brooks. He is older than her by six or seven years and would never look at her that way. Or so she thought.
Brooks Kincaid is caring, gorgeous and a total sexy sweetheart of a man. He grew up around Palmer because of his friendship with her brother but now he’s starting to see her in a whole new light. For both of them growing up in such loving homes, they saw examples everyday from their parents that set high standards in both their minds on what they wanted for their future partners. So they both were willing to hold out until that person came along and focused on their careers. But a some fun and flirting at a celebration open up the doors for a secret “mutually beneficial” arrangement that worked for both of them…until it didn’t. Feelings, miss understandings, and a little drama make for an enjoyably engaging journey with ALL the best friend shenanigans and Kincaid brother backing your little heart desires. 🥰

That is why she is one of my. favorite one-click authors! I sure cannot wait for Declan’s story. ASAP.
🌶HEAT~ 🌶🌶🌶🌶Brooks and Palmer are Definitely Deliciously Hot!

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Kaylee Ryan has been crowned the Queen of Swoon by her readers. With nearly fifty romance books under her belt, she’s known for penning happily ever afters with heart. When she’s not writing, you can find her with a book in her hand or hanging out with her family where she resides in her home state of Ohio.
HOLY MIND CLICKETY- CLUCK MY FRIENDS!! This amazingly unforgettable story has got me so twisted and turned inside out. I legit had to sit back a while and just process my feelings on this one. Honestly, I’m still processing, still heavily feeling and quite tender and emotional still. This story was phenomenally incredible. I’m getting choked up because It was just truly remarkable. A brave and daring and non-traditional take on a dark and thrilling romance. Addicted from the first page this story is both chilling and eerie, but also emotional, original, steamy. A book that Is not soon to leave my head or the reeling it has my mind in, so trying to wrap my head around exactly how I am feeling so that I could even begin to convey this to others has been quite the chore, because the thing is… You know what they say about assuming?! Lol But alas, I went into this book assuming I was getting a certain type of story and to be honest, this was anything BUT the assumptions I had set up in my own head going in. ( To me this turned out to be a good thing)
Now without giving any spoilers away, let me just tell you what I did to myself here. Based on blurb alone here I jumped in thinking, m’kay so this is probably some type of prison pen pal love story. This is my first book by this author, but I have heard great things and she’s been on my TBR for awhile. So when this opportunity presented itself I scooped up the chance to read this sucker, and dove right in when the ARC appeared.
It certainly didn’t take long before I realized this book had this whole dark and eerie tone to it. BTW, I was absolutely here for it too! I was like yeah this is going to be more mysterious/suspenseful, probably some thriller action. I was excited to see how the dark romance was going to tie in. But as soon as the story got going I was just entranced y’all. I am talking about smokin’ hot scenes. Like hotter than a big ‘ol pan of biscuits and gravy right off the stove. The dirty talkin’, oh my word, the dirty talkin’. Put a fork in me because I was done. I mean our couple were just EVERYTHING I wanted them to be.
This story takes you on a journey and when you feel like you might be getting a grip on some of what’s going on, your world will be shattered, you will realize nothing is what It seemed and It’s better to just roll with the waves, instead of trying to swim against the current.
Now here is where reviews are mixed… Either you are happy with what the author did here, or it seems readers just can’t. ME, I happened to have absolutely LOVED what this author did with this book. When I started feeling like “ no, way.” “No you aren’t girl.” “You are, aren’t you?” I didn’t know how I felt about that, but when the book was all done. I sat back, with tears in my eyes, and all I could think was WOW! BRAVO! While this wasn’t what I went into this book expecting this to be, I was absolutely blown away by this story. By this author’s writing. Her ability to sweep me into this story. I went through all the emotions a person can feel while reading this story and am still after. Now, let’s talk about that ending. I know reference to a HEA has been mentioned. Does this story have a HEA? Well, no. Not in the traditional romance genre HEA. But In my opinion and for me, yes absolutely. I felt that the ending for me was as HEA. Without giving any spoilers for this book, these characters, and their journey, I think their ending is as happy an ever after as I hope mine would be in the same situation.

I am so happy I took a chance on this book as it will most definitely go down as one of my TOP READS of 2022! My only regret is that I am just now discovering this author’s work. I plan to quickly devour as much of her back list ASAP.

🥰HEA/CLIFFY🧗♀️~ No Cliffy. HEA- Depends on who you ask and what that means to you. I say for me, Yes, it had one that made me feel HEA for them.
It’s raining as my husband’s casket is lowered into the hole in the ground. Raining hard, as if the sky itself is about to rip in half like my heart has. I stand motionless under an umbrella with the other mourners, listening to the priest drone on about resurrection and glory, blessings and suffering, redemption and the holy love of God. So many words, and all so meaningless. Everything is meaningless. There’s a Michael-shaped hole in my chest, and nothing matters anymore. That must be why I feel so numb. I’m empty. Grief has blown me apart, scattering my bones into a desert wasteland where they’ll bake in silence under a merciless sun for a thousand years. A woman behind me quietly weeps into her handkerchief. Sharon? Karen? A colleague of Michael’s who I met at a long-ago faculty party. One of those awful holiday work parties in a school auditorium where they serve cheap wine in plastic cups and people stand around making awkward small talk until they’re drunk enough to say what they really think about each other. Sharon or Karen behind me told Michael he was a prick at that party. I can’t remember why, but that’s probably why she’s crying now. When someone dies, you start counting all the ways you failed them. The priest makes the sign of the cross over his chest. He closes his Bible and steps back. I walk slowly forward, bend down to grasp a handful of soil from the pile to one side, then toss it onto the closed casket. The wet clump of dirt makes an ugly hollow sound when it lands on the gray lid of the coffin, an uncaring splat of finality. Then it slides off, leaving a smear of brown behind like a shit stain. Abruptly, I’m shaking with anger. I taste ashes and bitterness in my mouth. What a stupid ritual this is. Why do we even bother? It’s not like the dead can see us mourning them. They’re gone. A sudden gust of cold wind rattles the leaves in the trees. I turn and walk away through the rain, not looking back when someone softly sobs my name. I need to be alone with my grief. I’m not one of those people who likes to commiserate over a tragedy. Especially when the tragedy is my own. When I open the front door of the house, it takes a moment for me to register that I’m home. I have no recollection of the drive from the gravesite to here, though the blank spot in time doesn’t surprise me. Since the accident, I’ve been in a fog. It’s as if my brain is blanketed in thick clouds. I kick off my shoes and leave them under the console table in the foyer. Tossing my wool coat onto the back of a kitchen chair, I head to the fridge. I open the door and stand looking inside as rain drums against the windowpanes and I try to convince myself I’m hungry. I’m not. I know I should eat to keep my strength up, but I have no appetite for anything. I let the door swing shut and press my fingers against my throbbing temples. When I turn around, I notice the envelope on the table next to the fruit bowl. It sits by itself, a white rectangle with neat handwriting and a stamp that reads “LOVE” in red letters. I know for a fact it wasn’t there when I left. My first thought is that Fiona must’ve brought in the mail. Then I remember she cleans the house on Mondays. Today’s Sunday. So how did it get there? As I cross to the table and pick up the letter, a rumble of thunder rattles the windows. A sudden gust of wind whistles through the trees outside. The eerie feeling intensifies when I read the return address. Washington State Penitentiary. Frowning, I tear open the edge of the envelope and pull out the single sheet of white unlined paper inside. I unfold it and read aloud. “I’ll wait forever if I have to.” That’s it. There’s nothing else, except a signature scratched below the words. Dante. I flip the page over, but it’s blank on the other side. For a fleeting moment, I think the letter must be intended for Michael. That idea gets tossed aside when I realize it’s addressed to me. That’s my name right there on the front of the envelope, printed in neat block letters with blue pen. This Dante person, whoever he is, meant for me to receive this. But why? And what is he waiting for? Unsettled, I fold the letter into thirds, stuff it back into the envelope, and drop it on the table. Then I make sure all the doors and windows are locked. I draw the drapes and blinds against the wet gray afternoon, pour myself a glass of wine, then sit at the kitchen table, staring at the envelope with a strange feeling of foreboding. A feeling that something’s coming. And that whatever it is, it isn’t good.

In Chaos We Reign, an all-consuming dark romance from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Amo Jones is out now!
I was the trick that they could never play. She was the greatest game of all…
There was elegance that comes from being carved from the ashes of all the darkness that surrounds you in the world. You start as dust, and you end as dust. At least that’s what I always thought. Crowned Princess Mayhem all my life became old fast, and I found myself forging my iron crown with the blood of our enemies.
To The Brothers of Kiznitch, I was nothing but a little brat that always got my way. I was the sister none of them asked for, but they’d find themselves needing. He was no different. Loving Keaton Cicero was never going to be easy. There was evil within him that would never be accepted.
They thought their over-protectiveness had kept me safe all these years, but they were wrong. Everything they thought they knew, was about to burn around them. I wasn’t someone who needed protecting…
In Chaos We Reign can be read as a stand-alone, but it is recommended to read In Silence She Screams first to better understand some story points.
FABULOUSLY FLOORED!! 🤯 That is just one of the ways to describe how I’m feeling. This book, the ending to this unforgettably magnificent series has got me feeling all kinds of ways. I have always been one who would never turn down an Amo Jones book, but y’all, Y’ALL!! 🏻 I am blown away by the brilliance and talent this author poured out on the pages of In Chaos We Reign. Her ability to take me into this dark and ominous world she’s created. The eerie feelings of mystery, all the lies, and tons of secret twists and turns will keep you entranced and on the edge of your seat. 🙀This tale is deliciously dark and deviantly dirty. A twisted, gritty and gruesome tale, totally fitting for our Ice Princess, Cartier and her forbidden beau, Keaton. Their story as unique and tragically twisted as those before them is one of my favorites. The deep depravity and hidden lies behind these two. But the way they are when its just the two of them. OMG! I am not gonna give away anything more than that.
Amo concludes her Midnight Mayhem world in the way only she can. I do wish I had time to refresh my memories and reread all the other three books in the series again before reading ICWR. I think it would have made some things a bit clearer. I had to do some mind searching. lol Unpredictable, mesmerizing, explosive, alluring, and addictive! I will never forget this series. It is officially one of my all time favorites and one I will reread over and over again. I will warn you It is at times gruesome and graphic. If you have triggers I would recommend checking trigger warnings but If you are like me just jump right in and ENJOY!! All the stars for this phenomenally awesome series.⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨
Keep reading for a look inside In Chaos We Reign!
Chapter One Cartier Sixteen years old I remember the first time I realized my brother was crazy. I was twelve years old, and I watched him rip the meat off a man’s bones after he kidnapped me and locked me in an abandoned house to play dress-up. The man was a stranger, and even though our family business was risky, it had no connection with Midnight Mayhem or Kiznitch. Yet my glorious brother tore him to pieces with his bare hands and didn’t blink once. Tonight is just like then, only worse. Worse because this is someone I know, and it’s someone who tried to hurt me. Doors slam closed outside, and I stop pouring the cashmere pink bubbles into my bath. Reaching for my phone on the counter, I open Spotify and hit play on “OT” by Niykee Heaton before dipping my toe into the warm water. Bubbles spill onto the dark veined marble floors as I sink deeper beneath the water, closing my eyes in an attempt at scrubbing the night away. I don’t want Kyrin to hear me cry because I know it will only make him worse. I’ve handled this school since my parents dumped me in it when Kyrin threw a fit to keep me away from Mayhem, and I will continue to handle it when he goes back on the road. Right now, I need peace. I need to feel nothing. See nothing. Hear nothing. They say drowning is the most peaceful death, I can imagine why. After being suffocated from oxygen for minutes, you welcome the feeling of numbness. Like now. Void. Stuck between a realm of life and death, I could float and hold my breath until I simply… die. A hand is around my throat, pulling me out of my haze and I swipe water from my face angrily when I resurface. “What the fuck!” As soon as my eyes open, they land on Keaton, one of the four Brothers of Kiznitch. He and my brother have been inseparable since they were born—they all are—but Keaton isn’t like the rest of them. He is simply… different. My mouth closes as I take in his clothes. Blotches of blood litter his designer jeans, and when I finally look up at his face, I find mud and more blood all over his cheek and shirt. The Brothers of Kiznitch have all been my extended brothers, all of them except Keaton. He is nothing like a brother to me, and that’s largely because he has never treated me the same way the other Brothers have. He doesn’t seem pissed about my presence, but not that fond of it either. He has always just existed. For a long time anyway. But I don’t know if I’d call what we share a normal friendship. My stomach always twists anytime I catch him staring, and it’s become more frequent the older I get, but that doesn’t change the fact that we both fight. Fight probably more than any of the other brothers, Kyrin not included. “What the fuck, Keaton?” I glare up at him while leaning back against the curve of the bath, flicking my toe against the faucet to turn the hot water back on. I see him dip to a kneeling position out of the corner of my eye, when his fingers curl around my chin, forcing my face to his. I hold my breath when his eyes settle on mine. Keaton is the scariest of all The Brothers—to everyone but me. Darkness hovers over him everywhere he goes, and no matter what he does, he’ll never be rid of it. Torment swims beneath the surface of his god-like features, and it has always bothered me that I can never take it away. No one can. “Was there anyone else involved?” His voice is low enough to be a warning. I find myself losing my train of thought when I trace the edges of his naturally swollen lips. “No,” I whisper, only it comes out broken from the saliva forming in my throat. He stands back to his full height and kicks off his boots, tugging his shirt over his head from the back and throwing it onto a pile in the corner. “Keaton…” I warn. “If Kyrin—” “—don’t really give a fuck right now, Tigger.” I close my eyes and lean against the edge of the bath, listening as the clink of his belt falls to the floor before a long stretch of silence drifts between us. Just when I think he’s not going to do what he’s going to do, I feel his leg brush mine as he lowers himself into the bath opposite me. Keaton and I have kept each other at a distance, and most of the time I think I’m imagining the things I do. The long stares, brushes of hands, lingering touches. We fight as hard as we clearly care about one another, but it has always been clear. The lines have never been blurred. Until now.

Is there anything better than a yummy second chance romance?! How about a delicious slow burn with a side of groveling hero and several good ‘ol helpings of hate to love/angst. ALL.OF.THAT and more is what you are in for with Garnet Flats. So good y’all. I have loved every single book so far in the Eden’s series and frankly couldn’t wait for Talia’s turn after the glimpses we’ve had of her in the previous books. Author Devney Perry did not disappoint with Talia and Foster’s heart wrenching journey back together after seven years apart and a lot of bitterness, hurt, lies, and misunderstandings.
Garnet Flats is an emotionally gripping tale about a young woman finding her forever person only to have him marry her closest friend instead. That life changing, unforgettable kind of love that when lost you never fully recover from. Oh the devastation your first true broken heart leaves you with, I’m sure most of us remember it well. I know I do. I dove right into this unique twist on the, left me for my best friend trope, and devoured every word of this within a day, as it brought me right back into my feels of first loves, first heartbreaks, and lessons in forgiveness in relationships.
Talia Eden loved her college sweetheart Foster more than anything. She saw her entire future with him. Then in a devastating blow he shocked her by marrying her best friend and roommate. Seven years later he shows up freshly divorced and ready to make amends and win her back. But if he thinks finally telling her why he did what he did will just easily wipe the slate clean, he is in for a rude awakening. Talia is still hurt, and quite frankly straddling that thin line between love and hate.
When Foster, a UFC fighter ( um holy hotness people 🔥🤤) shows back up in Quincey determined to finally tell the only woman who’s ever truly held his heart why he really broke hers all those years ago he knows it’s not going to be easy peasy. Getting Talia back may be the hardest fight he’s ever taken on. But he’s ready, heart in hand, to jump into the ring and fight it out until he emerges the victor. He’s not looking for a belt, nor a title. He only wants her. He knew whatever anger she threw his way was absolutely his fault and he was ready to own it. He wanted to lay it all out there on the line, while also helping her to remember just how good it used to be between them. He knows he still loves her, and he’s sure hoping she feels the same. Well anger isn’t the only thing causing the heat to rise between these two.
Everything about Talia and Foster had me hooked from the very beginning. From being back in Quincey, to scenes with Eden’s from the past books in the series. Which is awesome because I am never going to want to part with this series. I will go back for a total series reread at some point for sure. This book broke my heart just as much as it healed it. This standalone with interconnecting characters told in alternating dual POV’s is a great addition to the series. You can start with Garnet Flats or start at the beginning with Juniper Hill today. I already can’t wait for the next book, Jasper Vale.
Devney is a USA Today bestselling author who lives in Washington with her husband and two sons. Born and raised in Montana, she loves writing books set in her treasured home state. After working in the technology industry for nearly a decade, she abandoned conference calls and project schedules to enjoy a slower pace at home with her family. Writing one book, let alone many, was not something she ever expected to do. But now that she’s discovered her true passion for writing romance, she has no plans to ever stop.
I’m out of my depth participating in a blind-date photo shoot. Not only am I meant to act like I’m open for dating, but I’m meant to be sexy and get up close and personal with a complete stranger.
None of the above is me. But I’m a sucker, and my best friend can talk me into anything.
Deacon is the kind of guy my heart could be safe with. But I’ve been taking care of myself for a long time, and I’m not sure I’m ready to rely on anyone else. Not even the handsome, successful older brother of my best friend.
I never saw her coming. One date with a beautiful stranger and I’m hooked.
Technically, Ramsey isn’t a stranger. She’s my little sister’s best friend, the same sister who volunteered me because she claims “I’m a workaholic in desperate need of love.”
All I know is I can’t stop thinking about Ramsey and the way her lips felt against mine. I have to see her again. Good thing I’m an attorney, because convincing her to take a chance on me is going to be the hardest case I’ve ever pleaded. She’s worried about the past repeating itself. What she’s yet to figure out is that her fear is unnecessary… never with me.
Kaylee Ryan has done it again my book lovin’ friends. Dropped right in with another one of her perfectly delicious, sweet, and fantastically swoony stories that make you feel all ooey gooey and fluttery inside. Never With Me is Ramsey and Deacon’s remarkably heartfelt journey that will have you feeling good, maybe a little frustrated a couple of times, and a whole lotta love for ALL the characters in this book. From the very first time they saw each other they had undeniable instant chemistry and an instant connection, making this a super flirty, fun, and definitely a fan yourself because it’s so freaking hot, tale of love. It just further cemented to me why this author IS and WILL REMAIN one of my one-click favorites for steamy, dreamy, feel-good romances.
One of my favorite things about this author’s works is how big family plays a part in her books/series. You can’t help but to want to be a part of these stories. To be friends or a cousin or someone because I want to be at a family cookout or something hanging out with all these awesome people. One thing is for certain, I am always up for being swept away into the magical book worlds that author Kaylee Ryan has created.
Ramsey Rammed Her Way right into my heart from page one with her emotional backstory. From the first paragraph of the prologue I knew this woman deserved so much more than she had ever been given before. She needed to be loved wholly, completely, unequivocally. I love how coming to Willow River was her new start and she was ultimately able to find everything she needed to heal the parts of her that had been cracked and broken by the ones who were supposed to take care of her when she was younger. She found her people. She finally had a true loving support system.
When a favor to her introduces her to, Deacon the drop dead gorgeous older brother of her best friend, Palmer. Instantly attracted but hesitant for several reasons Deacon seriously has his work cut out for him if he wants to wear her down and get her to give him a chance. Not only is he older but also the workaholic brother of her BFF, but he has to penetrate walls of protection put up to protect the heart of a woman that has been hurt and does not trust or intend to ever depend on a man again.
My heart just bled for them both. I love the personal growth her character went through in this book. The way she grew more confident in voicing what fears she had, the things she had been through. The way she opened up. She was already strong but with his backing she was even more so. GAH!! She did good Y’all!
I am definitely Devoted to Deacon. While he may be a workaholic because he has goals that include taking over the law firm where he works when the partners retire. Up to this point he really hasn’t had any drive to find a girlfriend because that would just occupy time he could devote to working instead. But holy moly ladies, he’s a total sweetheart.
He’s sexy and everything about him is the stuff book boyfriend dreams are made of. A successful lawyer who loves his family, is patient, supportive and kind, plus knows how to throw down in pound town. Can I get a HELL Yeah?! Y’all, I would beg this man to allow me the pleasure of hand washing his skivvies after cutting the grass at 3:00 pm on the hottest day in July. Lol Okay so maybe not really dirty laundry because TBH I have seven kids and do enough laundry, but I’m sure there are other ways I could lend a helping hand. 😏
Pretty Please with a Cherry on Top, any wish would be my command. Deacon just did it for me guys.
This author writes the swooniest of heroes. So henceforth I shall refer to him as “Deacon the Delicious.” When you read this you will completely understand why.
Never With Me is a stand-alone story told in alternating POV with elements of many different tropes. Fans of my best friend’s brother, age-gap, and small town. There is an instant connection and chemistry but we get to see the relationship build and grow as well. This book, the setting, all the secondary characters kept me engaged and loving every minute.
I am really pumped because this book introduced us to Ramsey’s cousins, the Kincaid brothers whose stories we will be getting in a new Kincaid Brothers Series, which will feature each of the nine brother’s in his own book. I AM SO EXCITED! Make sure you grab your copy of Never With Me today and fall in love with Ramsey, and Deacon. Get ready for a little kickstart introduction to the hotness that is the Kincaid boys. HAWT DAMN**fans self**
My friends, FAME is FANTASTICALLY FABULOUS!! It’s MAGICALLY MARVELOUS!! I’m gonna calm down and stop yelling at you in shouty CAPS.
But in all seriousness this book y’all. Molly McAdams once again proves why she is one of my absolute favorite authors. She is a must read everything she writes, plus owns every ebook, and signed paperbacks too. It doesn’t matter the genre or trope I know going in that with this author’s work I’m in for a story that will be profound and positively unforgettable. A story that is sure to weave itself through my mind, heart and soul and leave a little piece of itself behind. A story I felt so deeply that I will think back on it for years to come. As I still do with pretty much all of her books I have read thus far. (I will go to my death bed still feeling Taking Chances)
Trust me when I tell you Fame is a story like no other. Jensen and Mia are two imperfect humans who just happen to be perfect for each other. Bringing you the best by giving you a little taste of everything, this sinful and sexy romance is slap full of secrets, lies and mystery. Not skimping on the angst, steam, banter, tension, and a good ‘ol swoony and southern, Georgia bred country boy to come in and make everything all better (this Georgia girl might be biased but there’s nothing hotter than a GA boy) I promise this book has something for every reader. It will captivate you from paragraph one until the very last sentence. Not just a book but an unputdownable journey to unite two amazingly unique and inspiring characters who against any obstacles that may come between them truly belong together. But what to do when love is inevitable between two people and one is dang near ready to sprint in the opposite direction away from it? Will love bring them together or will Fame tear them apart?
Mia is really a special character. She is one of the most unselfish of heroines I have ever had the pleasure of reading, yet her circumstances broke my heart over and over again. Her strength and dedication to her family was commendable. How could you not fall in love with her story? This amazing woman who sacrificially suffered for those she loved most in the world. It was devastating and inspiring at the same time. The internal conflicts are gut-wrenching. But I was so immersed in this story I really felt her struggle and found myself battling the what would I do in real life?
I think her battles with the life she was forced into and its impact on her character as a person just made me love her more. She was a deeply loving character but as much love as she had for others she didn’t have it for herself. I wanted to be able to jump into the book and just hug her and tell her I see you. You are beautiful and I see you for who you are. I see you for why and not what you have to do. She was existing, getting by and surviving. But she wasn’t living. She wasn’t enjoying her life. Until she met Jensen. He brought life back into her. He made her feel things no one ever had. It put the carefully crafted walls she’d put up to hide her secrets behind at risk of crumbling down around her. But for the first time she began to think she finally found someone who might be worth the risk. But there is still so much he doesn’t know about her. What will happen when the truth comes to light?
“You don’t know what my greatest joy is or the worst moments of my life. You don’t know what I’ve done to survive.”
Jensen is deliciously swoony and without a doubt book HUSBAND material. I say husband because this man is better than a book boyfriend. Boy oh boy was he ever hot and so dreamy too y’all.
He had been burned in the past and that had an impact on him. He certainly wasn’t looking for a relationship, but he was instantly drawn to the beautiful yet emotionally barricaded girl from the third floor of his new office building. Quickly he finds himself unable to resist the need to get to know and win this woman over. He knows it will be no easy feat but not one to give up; he sets out to win her over. He’s just so stinking sweet. He is caring and thoughtful. Successful but humble. Supportive and protective. Loving and kind. Gah! The way he was with her melted me into a puddle of goo y’all! I was a pile of jelly for Jensen. I could go on about him FOREVER!
None of that matters because I hear you in songs. I see you when I close my eyes. I feel you in my veins.”
In closing let me just say this book will tug on your heart strings. It will move you. You will laugh, and cry. You will fan yourself, get frustrated, cry again, and swoon so hard. You will fall so hard for all these characters (old and new). The writing is so engaging you feel like one of the gang, a part of the story. So vividly you feel like you share in the outrage, the excitement, the urge to smack a fool upside the back of his head and tell him to get it together. Mostly I just wanna see everyone get all the goodness life has to offer. But alas, I cannot actually be a part of the story and that is just the mark of a truly talented author, the fact that they make you forget that you aren’t. This author does this to me. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!
Jensen and Mia’s breathtakingly remarkable journey is not one to be missed. It is the final standalone (with crossover characters) in the Secrets in L.A. series and told in dual POV. You can read the entire series for FREE in Kindle Unlimited. Go grab you some snacks, a drink and hold onto your taters because Fame is gonna take your heart on one heck of a rollercoaster of feels. Enjoy!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband, daughter, and fur baby. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach . . . which roughly translates to being a homebody and dishing out movie quotes with her hubby. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies and loves curling up in a fluffy blanket during a thunderstorm . . . or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren’t really happening.
The Devil You Know by Elizabeth O’Roark is now live!
There’s a devil on my shoulder, and every Monday morning she announces herself. She’s this delicious flame in my chest, a flurry of whispered suggestions in my ear. Suggestions I ignore…because every single one of them is about Ben Tate.
Ben—Stealer of Clients, Evicter of Homeless Women, Nemesis. Sitting across from me every damn Monday with his lovely, smug smile and his too-perfect teeth, the living symbol of everything I hate.
It’s been my policy to avoid him, but when a case comes into the firm—one that could change his career and mine—I make an exception. It means weekends and evenings by his side. It means enduring his smirk and his smart mouth and never taking the bait.
Until the night Ben says “Beg”…and that devil on my shoulder decides to make a few demands of her own.

Oh my book lovin’ friends do I have a fantabulous book rec for y’all. The Devil You Know by Elizabeth O’Roark is the next MUST READ book to pick up and devour ASAP. This third standalone book in the Devil series features Ben and Gemma’s story and once again has knocked the last book in the series right out of the top spot to become my new FAVORITE of this series. This was such a great combo of so many of my favorite things that I could not read this fast enough. This is enemies to lovers, work place, boss/employee, secret romance perfection. It has an idyllic amount of angst, delicious spice aplenty and banter for days.
Ben Tate and Gemma Charles are both Lawyers at the same firm. Gemma is sassy and fierce. She has goals and works extremely hard because she wants to be the first woman at the firm to be made partner. Gemma is beautiful and sexy but she has a good and caring heart, but like many successful women working hard to move up in the corporate world she is called names for her drive and determination. Often being referred to as cold or aloof. She just wants to make partner and meet the perfect romcom worthy guy and get her HEA. Is that too much to ask for? Ben is drop dead gorgeous, and everyone loves him. Everything about him grates on every last nerve Gemma has. He is a partner at the firm, so technically her boss. When the firm gets the case that could make her career, who else is assigned to work side by side with her but the man she loathes more than any other. Of.frickin.Course!!
I fell head over heels for Ben Tate. He may have come across as a big ‘ol weiner 🌭 at first but he quickly changed this gals mind. He was whitty, sarcastically charming, smart, the absolutely ideal amount of addictingly alpha and possessively protective. He took charge when needed but didn’t take over. He would fight for Gemma while still allowing her to fight for herself. He is without a doubt book boyfriend goals. It’s gonna take some big feets for someone to fill his shoes in my current man spot. Even days later I find my thoughts drifting back to him and Gemma and their phenomenal chemistry. 🔥🥵🔥
I love this book so much. This workplace/enemies to lovers romance just hit different. The emotion, the heat, the feels. Oh My Heart, the feels. These characters are unforgettable. From their “banter o’hate” to the smexy tension ready to burst, the breaking down of their walls, to when they finally start to realize what they hadn’t noticed before. *Chefs Kiss* 💋
This is FOR SURE a book ( like the other two in the series) that I will be going back to for a reread. FIVE it’s FREAKING FANTASTICALLY FLABBERGASTING STARS!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
