This book is an incredible journey about Dusty’s healing and growth as a character. Tijan gives us an emotional tale about two people whose lives were weaved together as children growing up. The details from those shared childhood stories and memories were so beautiful and special and they brought such an incredible element to the story. Each having their own unique experiences and special memories. So perfect y’all. (You will totally know what I’m talking about when you read it). Stone and Dusty’s quest to love. Now that was a hard fought battle. They had so many secrets, emotions, anger, hatred and hurts between them. 

But Stone being the telamon he is and Dusty being much more resilient that she would have thought, can overcome anything.
