My Review

Monica Murphy perfectly captures everything and so much more that I love about the NA, the High School Seniors, Virgin Heroine, Enemies-to-lovers genre. The love story between Wren Beaumont and Crew Lancaster is the perfect blend of a little angst, a little bully, a lot unexpected. With plenty of sweet, swoony and sexy with a beautiful poignance and magical wonder.

Like that of first love and self discovery but also with a fun, flirty and almost dare I say…slightly fairytale-like (at times) feel to it because of the elite world our characters are brought up in and the surprisingly sweet and thoughtful ways in which we see our young Crew trying to romance Wren. It makes him seem older, yet still appearing the young and playful highschool senior he is. 

This is such a sweet love story and a great story of character growth. Wren has such a sense of self worth and high expectations for herself. I love that even when she grows closer to Crew he does not change those things about her but is a source of encouragement for her. While she feels the pressures from society, her family, from friends, she has a very strong sense of self awareness and will do what SHE feels is best for her in the end. 

With Crew we see her bring the more serious side out of this campus king, the playboy. When that happens he is truly dream  book boyfriend goals for sure. He was the perfect pairing for Wren as he brings out some sass and feistiness in her where she never used to have any bite and would just take everything others would say to her. I absolutely loved their banter back and forth. 

Crew at first comes across as arrogant and seems as though he can have anyone he wants and maybe Wren would be just a challenge for him but it is super clear from early on that it’s so much more for him. The little things he does for his “Birdy”, the ways he goes about getting to know her, and finding out what is important to her. It legit melted this gals heart. SWOON Y’all!! 🥰

So this might have been a relatively slow burn but it had some excellent dirty talkin’!!

Loved,Loved,and Devoured every second of this book from the start to the end. A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime is not to be missed. Would read this A Million Times in MY Lifetime!! I need A Million Stars!

My Review

I absolutely love an insta-attraction, a meet on vacation romance. Add in a little long-distance, sports romance and you’ve got a delicious mix of the perfect story, ones like Peyton and Griffin’s. 

From the very first time they saw each other they had instant chemistry, making for a fun, flirty, sweet and swoony tale. I just loved how instantly they felt a connection even if they felt like they needed to fight it because of distance and other factors. 

I love how family and friends was once again such a big theme throughout this book as we are used to with this series. Griffin and Peyton were loyal, loveable and just really good people. Just wanted them to get together. It was refreshing to have a book boyfriend that was a sweetheart, good to his momma and talked a little dirty. So HAWT!! 

This was just enough a sweet, swoony and steamy story to keep me engaged and entertained from start to finish. Fans of a low angst  sports romance with real and relatable characters grab this series and especially Beyond The Team today!! Five Fastball Stars!!⚾️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My Review

Marni Mann has blown me away with Jo and Jenner. This deliciously dirty age gap, forbidden romance is everything I was looking for in my life right now. 

From Jenner and Jo’s sexy meet cute to them kickin things right off from there with explosive chemistry they will captivate you with their down and dirty playfulness, witty banter and swoony steam. 

Jo is beautiful, sweet, fun, playful and mature. She’s about to graduate from college and is ready to make her mark on the world. There is just something about Jenner that caught her eye from the get go and she had to have him. Jenner is this perfect blend of successful, alpha, swoony and oh so hot.

I spent a big portion of this book torn between wanting to climb inside my kindle and smack Olly and Frankie upside the heads and knocking some sense into them-and then the other parts enabling every ounce of restraint I possessed to ensure I didn’t chuck my kindle at the wall out of frustration, because they spent so much time apart.Time that maybe they shouldn’t have had to. If only…

But truly in their times apart they both grew and learned things in their own way. They had different views on what they were and what they could become. They both grew and matured on their own, but in totally different ways. Frankie had realized what she truly deserves in her life and that was the only thing she was going to settle for going forward in her life. Olly finally realized what he needed to do to be the man Frankie deserves and prioritized his life accordingly.

While it was gut wrenching for these two characters as well as it was for me being so invested in their journey, I knew it was essential that they traveled those bumps and turns along the way to get to the place where they were truly meant to be. And that place was PERFECT!! 

I can’t say enough about not only this duet but this entire series. If you haven’t started it, there is no better day that TODAY!! If you have been following all along then grab this phenomenal conclusion that was years in the making. Pour you some wine, 🍷 grab a bar of dark chocolate, 🍫 and a box tissues and get ready for an emotionally beautiful read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My Review

Oh my Holy Heartbreak and then Heartmending!! This book y’all! This freaking book will definitely be one of my top reads of 2022. It was phenomenal. Each exquisitely  thought out and executed detail captivated me. While this book was a slow burn I was entranced from the very beginning. Just the mere premise had me hooked and I was quickly wondering just how angsty was this ride that Meagan Brandy was about to take me on going to be. The answer… more angsty than I could have imagined, in all the best I want to pull my own hair out and toss my kindle across the room, kind of ways! 

This story is Ari’s journey. Her quest to her HEA. One we are most definitely wondering if she will ever actually see. It’s very much a coming into your own, beautiful yet gut wrenching journey of self discovery. I love Ari. I love the transformation of her character as a result of her experiences. Oh how I cried for her. I cheered for her, I hoped for her, celebrated for her and was broken right along with her. But even in the most devastating part of her journey I felt despair right along with her. I know for her to end up where she did it was all necessary to her story and I’m so grateful for that experience. I would never trade the feelings you get from a deep, cleansing therapeutic cry. The kind that comes from a book that fits you before it puts you back together. *insert sigh of complete contentment* 

Now, I will not name the H, but I will say he is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE MB HERO EVER!! And let’s be honest she has some absolutely amazing guys to choose from. If I walked into “Build-A-Book-Boyfriend” today and made him for myself I would have picked everything Meagan had going for him, but then she had more that I didn’t even know were options. He’s perfection personified!! He’s gorgeous, talented, caring, sweet, swoony, and loyal in such an unselfish way to the extent I have never seen. I’m tearing up just thinking about it. 

He is EVERYTHING! 

If you love angst. If you love new adult, sports romance and drama. If you are as obsessed as me with amazing secondary characters and a story that sticks with you long after you shut the pages, I urge you to read this. Will you read this? “Say you Swear”

My Review

Oh Holly! What have you done to me?! I have been craving Olly and Frankie’s story since the first book in the Boys of Clermont Bay series. While the other books so far are fabulous, this is just another level of awesome. Olly and Frankie just hit differently. The addictive trope combination of being a friend’s to lovers, plus a forbidden romance tied together with a Best Friends Sister. Ah-may-zing!! 

Olly has been best friends with Beck, Frankie’s older brother since they were kids. But Olly is also a best friend and protector to Frankie. Especially after she goes through some stuff. Olly is gorgeous, sweet, swoony, a bit dirty, and just everything!! The way he only had eyes for Frankie but wasn’t willing to risk his friendship with Beck, so frustrating and devastating. Frankie is beautiful, strong, sassy, and perfect. She has loved Olly from afar for what feels like forever. She doesn’t want to hurt her brother but she darn sure wants to get her man.

When they are together they just complete each other in a way that no one else could. Thank heavens for stolen moments. When they were around each other with their friends they were legit silently pining and mourning the loss of what they could be, if only they had the freedom to do so. It hurt my heart y’all! 🥺 

Now, I am a firm believer in inevitable love. I just have to hope and believe after all is said and done that they can find a way to make this work. They have this undeniable chemistry, but their connection is rare and pure at heart. It’s so all encompassing that it jumps out and grabs you and is not going to let you go until their story is done being told. Right now though… god I need the next book. I’m a mess. 🥺😭😥😩 

This book put me through the spin cycle. I was obsessed with every word in this book. My heart literally melted, broke, and swooned.  I was kindle throwing kinda frustrated at times. But when I tell you this book is hot!! 🥵🔥 OMG! I’m talking like a fresh batch of Granny’s biscuits and gravy, hot! 🔥🥵 Olly is a total sweetheart to Frankie but he’s also a very very dirty boy. There is not enough Orbit gum to clean up his dirty mouth. I wouldn’t change it either because the stuff his mouth was spewing turned this book into a bonafide “panty chucker” and that means go ahead toss them drawers when you walk in the door, because you for sure won’t be needing them! 💥

“Let me tell you what I would do,” he growled, and I couldn’t look away from him. “I would fuck you until my cum was running down your legs and you could still feel my hand on your throat after I walked away.”

Holly Renee is gonna shred your feelings but she is also a master literary seamstress so I know she can mend my poor heart back by the time The Temptation of Dirty Secrets ( which I need like I need air to breathe) is released. This book is phenomenal, but go in knowing this story is a duet and all conflicts are NOT resolved within this book. I’m gonna make it because I know the next book isn’t too far off and just know it will be worth the wait. It’s a Five Stars with a huge grip on my heart, read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend this as a series you don’t want to miss.
