My Review

OH MY WORD! I love a good ‘ol heart melting single dad romance. Especially if he happens to be the doting daddy of a little girl. 💕 Like for real. I’m legit a goner for a girl dad. 🥺 I’m sure it probably has to do with the fact that I was the oldest of three girls raised by a single dad, and a through and through Daddy’s girl until the day he died, so I was instantly drawn into everything about this story.

Ford Dalton, his adorable daughter Everly, and her amazingly wonderful new nanny, Sydney’s story is a different spin on the single dad/nanny trope. It delivers a fresh new engaging storyline, loveable and emotion evoking characters, picturesque settings, plenty of heart, heat and steamy goodness. Fans of single dad/nanny romance, forced proximity, age-gap, billionaire romance, or even boss/employee this will fit the bill for all of you.

Ford Dalton is EVERYTHING!🥰 He is sexy, smart, and successful. He’s got a big heart and a big um… 🥵 He is a swoony, charming, dirty talking tall drink of water. He is an amazingly devoted single father who’s entire world is wrapped around his little girl. It has always just been the two of them, other than a little help with Everly from his mom and cousin Hannah. He’s truly a family man through and through and he really hasn’t felt like he was missing out on anything… Until he meets Sydney. Although it seems as though she just might be the one to finally change his mind on his hesitation to relationships. When he finds out that she is the top contender in the running for the nanny position for his daughter, Ford draws the line. Either they move forward and see where their relationship can go or they stop and Syd proceeds as Everly’s nanny. There really is only one choice, the most important person of all has to be the priority.

Sydney is the BEST!😘 She is young and vibrant. Beautiful, patient and lots of fun to be around. She radiates warmth and love and has the biggest and most unselfish heart. She is young and still working out what she wants her path in life to look like. But at the same time she is able to be mature for her age but also simultaneously youthful and brings an energy that makes those around her happy. She naturally does sweet gestures and things for people to show how much she cares for them. You can’t help but love her character and almost forget she’s a character and not my friend IRL.

The Single Dad is the third standalone in the Dalton Brothers series. You don’t have to have read the others but they are good books and have crossover characters from the previous books so If you have the time I would recommend checking them out. Ford has come along and pushed his two brothers right on out and became my favorite Dalton brother. FOR SURE. This entire book had me captivated. Between the heart melting daddy/daughter moments, the effervescent and unforgettable Everly filled ones, the charming moments, the steamy moments, the fun, flirty, and fantastically witty banter filled moments.

I just couldn’t get enough. I hung on every word. From the banging first night to the twist later on, all the way to the perfect HEA. It’s a YES 🤩 from Me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Marni Mann has blown me away with Jo and Jenner. This deliciously dirty age gap, forbidden romance is everything I was looking for in my life right now.

From Jenner and Jo’s sexy meet cute to them kickin things right off from there with explosive chemistry they will captivate you with their down and dirty playfulness, witty banter and swoony steam.

Jo is beautiful, sweet, fun, playful and mature. She’s about to graduate from college and is ready to make her mark on the world. There is just something about Jenner that caught her eye from the get go and she had to have him. Jenner is this perfect blend of successful, alpha, swoony and oh so hot.

This couples journey from a strings free type of arrangement to falling hard and fast will keep you entertained and engaged with its every little detail designed to have you obsessing over Jo and Jenner. The dynamics of just how forbidden a romance this particular book is unfolded as the story did. It definitely made for an unexpected twist that I didn’t see coming and I loved it!

My Review

When we Met by Marni Mann happens to be the first story I have read by this author but I can guarantee it will not be my last. This story is about Whitney and Caleb’s remarkable journey to love. This book is intriguing, unexpected, full of mystery, heart-wrenching emotion and lots of amazingness to keep you guessing.

Told in dual perspectives you will find yourself emersed in Caleb’s detailed account of their first meeting on a day they forever changed things for everyone. Gorgeous, successful, daredevil, Caleb who’s life changes in the blink of an eye. What started as the worst possible day of his life led the best possible thing that ever happened to him, he met Whitney. When things changed so drastically for Caleb he found immeasurable strength in Whitney. As well as his soul mate.

Whitney’s account started out on the same day of the year, but the details are so different. She brings you to wonder What would happen if we got a redo on the day We Met would we take it? Or What if you the reader could choose the outcome.

I was so glad with the way this book went. I was terrified, heartbroken and absolutely devastated for a few minutes. But I am so glad this author took the path she did. It kept us the readers on our toes, but we are definitely happy with the wrap up we got. You have to have the utmost respect for a book that cuts you to your core, has you hanging on every word, and my you fall so so incredibly deeply in love with his characters.

This may have been my first Marni Mann book but it most definitely won’t be my last. 4 Fantastically Fabulous Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
