They say to never meet your heroes… but what’s the rule on falling in love with them?
Raven Winters has been infatuated with Nicholas Potter since the day she tacked his poster to her bedroom wall. So, when she discovered the famous drummer was her college roommate’s cousin, it seemed the stars had aligned.
Their attraction was instant, and their chemistry explosive. Unfortunately, Nick wasn’t ready to abandon his rock star lifestyle.
Over the years, she’s become his best friend—with benefits—and favorite source of telephonic relief when the groupies backstage weren’t quite what he was looking for. Those late-night drunken calls kept her holding onto hope.
Well, all that patience is about to pay off—why else would he invite her to join him on tour, if not to finally confess his feelings?
Too bad, the universe has other plans. It looks like drummer boy’s reckless lifestyle has finally caught up to him—and Raven’s the one stuck toting the diaper bag.
My Review
This is most definitely one of the HOTTEST friends to lovers romances I have read in a long dang time!! Heather M. Orgeron has outdone herself. Again! She has perfectly captured all the fantastic feels, flirty, and flaming hot fun. At.The.Same.Time.
Raven and Nick’s story will captivate you right off the bat with its explosive chemistry, witty banter and panty flingin’ scenes paired with a heart warming flutter inducing storyline sure to have you hanging on every single word.
Playboy Nick has the best arrangement ever with his BFF with benefits, Raven. When life throws this party boy a double dose of revenge dished up by the universe’s party gods he calls on his best girl to help him out in his biggest time of need yet.
Raven has it bad for her best boy “ friend with benefits,” Nick. When he calls or FaceTimes she’s always ready for good tune with him. But she’s really been hoping for more. For something real and more meaningful than hookups only. When Nick calls out of the blue and says that “ he needs her” she thinks her patience is finally paying off and Nick will pour his heart out to her once and change their lives together. Little does she know he’s about to drop a couple of life changing bombs on her all right…
In Heather M. Orgeron fashion, this is a rom-com with all the feels. Be ready to laugh, cry, swear and definitely swoon as Nick and Raven navigate the crazy, chaos infused madness that is their journey to a HEA. Get ready to be swept into the amazing world that Orgeron creates and packs with plenty of hilarious moments, steamy scenes and a dreamy cast of characters we’ve already come to know and love. Characters that will have you hanging on their every syllable and feeling every emotion along with them.
Alcohol You Later is one read you don’t want to miss out on.
“Please don’t do this,” I beg, ripping my hands through my hair. “Don’t act like any of this is okay, because it’s not.”
“What would you have me do instead?” she asks, stilling my hands with her own. “Rage? Scream?” She snorts. “Cry?”
“If that’s what you feel you need to do.”
She shakes her head, rolling her glistening eyes. “Don’t you think that’s a little extreme of a reaction for a friend to have when her bestie learns he’s just become a daddy?”

Heather M. Orgeron is a Cajun girl with a big heart and a passion for romance. She married her high school sweetheart two months after graduation and her life has been a fairytale ever since. She’s the queen of her castle, reigning over five sons and one bossy little princess who has made it her mission in life to steal her Momma’s throne. When she’s not writing, you will find her hidden beneath mounds of laundry and piles of dirty dishes or locked in her tower (aka the bathroom) soaking in the tub with a good book. She’s always been an avid reader and has recently discovered a love for cultivating romantic stories of her own.

After an ill-fated one-night stand, Wyatt Landry was the last person I ever expected to see again.
By design, mind you, as I spent the last two years avoiding him.
He was only ever meant to be a good time—a really good time—and now, thanks to one teensy little mistake, he’s back in my life and wielding an entirely different set of tools.
It’s not like I intentionally hired a bogus contractor to redo our chapel, and Lord knows I never imagined Wyatt would ride up in his pickup truck, like a knight in thigh-hugging blue jeans, to save the day.
But here he is, and to make matters worse, he’s every bit as charming as I remember, and before I can fully process his reappearance in my life, he has my six-year-old daughter wrapped around his finger, my parents eating out of the palm of his hand, and my best friend shipping us like we’re some celebrity couple.
Thankfully, working in the death industry, I’ve mastered the skill of compartmentalization. Keeping my growing feelings tucked away should be a piece of cake. Except, seeing him every day definitely throws a wrench in that plan.
Before I know it, we’re trading favors for dates, and as much I don’t want to admit it, the feelings for him I thought were dead and buried are taking root and growing into something that looks a lot like love.
Daigle Family Funeral Services… don’t be caught dead any place else.
My Review
Shut the flipping front door y’all! In typical Heather M. Orgeron fashion this book will have you dying laughing. Okay, so maybe not literally dying. But if it did our heroine could totally handle that situation because she’s the hottest funeral director EVER!!
Whitney and Wyatt had me in unstoppable laughter, break my face smiles, and fanning myself because they were hotter than cremation chamber. Their banter was off the charts. The ways in which Whitney did her best to avoid giving into her feelings for Wyatt, and the ways in which he bided his time because he knew she was his from the moment he saw her again, unforgettable. He was so swoony, and sexy. Every damn thing about him was just so dang delicious. I couldn’t help but to love how offended and betrayed she felt at how accepting her family was to Wyatt. Everyone just loved him.
I was addicted to the strong and beautiful glue of the family and the family business, Whitney. She was an amazing daughter and mother to her little girl, who stole every scene she was in. I was a bit scared when I first started and realized we were reading about a family that ran a funeral home and quickly had flashbacks of My Girl and poor sweet Thomas J. 😭 Y’all… this was nothing like that. Every line was crafted to make you smile, to make you laugh out loud, and fun flirty moments guaranteed to melt your heart and your kindle. The heat between these two… rivals that of a summer night in New Orleans. 🔥
From Whitney and Wyatt to best friends, family and flying squirrels. 🐿 All of the the details of the secondary characters, whom I absolutely LOVED btw, was perfectly penned to have us addicted from the first page until we finished. I wasn’t ready to let them go, but I truly loved the ending. This is most definitely a story I will read again when just I’m looking for a day of much needed laughter.

Certainly not Nya Perez…because that’s precisely what she’s done.
Liam Watts is the bane of her existence.
Her first love. Father of her child. And breaker of her heart.
Oh, he’s also her ex-husband. Well, he was, anyway…right up til this morning,
when she woke up beside him in a Vegas hotel room, sheathed in satin and tulle
with a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach.
If it were just between the two of them, an annulment would be the obvious
solution. After all, they wouldn’t be the first to marry and divorce at the
little white chapel in the span of twenty-four hours.
But their daughter’s greatest wish has just been granted, and if there’s one
heart Nya wants to protect more than her own, it’s Ellie’s.
So, she promises to give it six months.
There’s no way she’ll be swayed by his thick southern drawl, those well-defined
abs, or that annoyingly delectable scruff lining his cheeks.
Nope. She’s got it all under control. Six months of playing house, then
everything can go back to the way it was before.
But first she’ll have to muddle through marriage with Liam—take two.
This is the best y’all!! Heather O. does it again! Perfection People! This book is utter perfection!
Oh the laughter, the banter, the frustration! The deliciously sexy throwdowns! THIS was the combination of everything I was hoping for and as ALWAYS Heather delivers!
Nya Perez is this sassy, beautiful Latina and I love her fierce determination to resist her irresistible ex, err…well no longer ex-husband.
Waking up unexpectedly married to her ex-husband, Liam Watts was the last thing she expected the morning after their daughter’s birthday. But not one to be able to disappoint her girl, and at the peer pressure of both Liam And her BFF, Hannah she reluctantly agrees to give the marriage the ol college try for six months. But only for their daughter, right? She can resist Liam’s charms for six months. Prove they are NOT meant for each other and kick his good lookin, texan accent talkin, perfect ab havin, sweet gentlemanly, sexy scruff wearin’ butt to the curb, and go back to the way think are. No problem… right?
Liam Watts has regretted the way this went wrong between him and Nya for years. When life, fate, birthday wishes and a few too many drinks hands him this second chance, you had better believe he is taking it. When Nya gave him a six month timeline , that was as good as issuing a challenge for this cowboy.
Deep down Liam knows he messed up, but he has never stopped loving Nya and he knows she has never stopped loving him. He has six months to prove their inevitable connection is supposed to last forever, NOT have an expiration date. He’s not above using whatever he can find in his arsenal to help his cause. AKA that sexy, irresistible smile, or those cowboy abs of steel. He’s ready to throw down wherever and whenever!!
GAAHH! I love this hilarious character y’all! He was so funny, and sweet and caring and oh my god, this man with his daughter. Women everywhere want to make babies with him, ASAP! He was gorgeous, sensitive and sweet, but funny and hot and dirty too. He had a Texas drawl for goodness sakes. Yeah! So in he walks and Panties just drop!
But will all that swagger sway Nya his way for good this time?
My Cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up :
