My Review

Holy Secrets and Deception Y’all!! This story is deliciously dark and dirty. There are so many unexpected things going on in this book from the very beginning. I love the entire premise of Mischief Night. It’s got this whole secret society feel. But with no rules or supervision, there’s no telling what these rich kids will get up to or what the consequences are for the things they get up to. 

The history of the protective nature of Caspian towards Tatums drew me right into this book. The dirty talking and forbidden aspects to Tatum and Caspian is everything I love and look for in a book like this. The dynamics of this world, the elite social standings, the corruption… gah!! I’m obsessed with storylines like this. The rebelliousness of these characters had me quickly addicted to this series and I can’t wait for more. 

This story is full of secrets, lies, action, steamy scenes, and mystery. You will have plenty of “make you want to throw your kindle” moments of frustration. It’s so exciting to know we will get more from this series, but Caspian and Tatum’s story may be read as a complete standalone. This was my first book by this author but I can’t wait to start devouring her back log. I really like her style!

My Review

Both tantalizingly toxic and deliciously depraved, Descent is like nothing else I have ever read before! Unquestionably unique, this f’ed up opposite of a fairytale will leave you awestruck and words will fail you. This story will make you question your sanity at times. Because you will fall in love with Calvin Cutler, the biggest anti-hero Sam has ever written! You will be floored at your ability to loathe and love simultaneously. But I assure you, you will fall for him. You might even hate yourself a little for it too. This story was maddening and that gave it such an addicting quality that I couldn’t stop reading once I started. I mean let’s just face it, Sam writes the alpha-asshole like no one else. I mean heavens to Betsy y’all! There are so many ways in which I found myself completely mesmerized yet turned on by the psychological torment Calvin put Hallie through.

I don’t want to give any specific details about the book away as the entire plot line is one trigger warning after another and any specifics would all be spoilers and #spoilerssuck. My Review

Holy Hell!! I have never gone from I hate you, to I love you, so freaking fast. 🤬🥰

I absolutely hated these triplets in the Cinderella Trilogy. Now I find myself falling for each one of them.  Separately, together. I just am obsessed with them. The slight differences in their personalities made me love them as individuals. However, the way they collectively love and back each other makes them more human and somehow relatable than the monsters we met previously.  I was blown away with how each one cares for Landry with his own unique touch. Whether he was softer, smoother, or with a little rougher hand made them a uniquely magnificent trio of amazingness. 

There was mystery and suspense and angst and loads more awesomeness in this story. I won’t give specifics because trust me… going in completely Hellen Keller on this one my friends. It’s best to know nothing of what’s coming your way. We’re just getting into their story good here but I’m already addicted to Landry and her bad boys.

My Review

Oh My Gosh!! This book is so freaking awesome! I was caught up in everything about it. From each of the characters, deeply flawed and written with such depth and stark sharp edges but vulnerability at the same time. Gah!! *chefs kiss* All the madness I love from the Midnight Mayhem books with the throuple thing this book had going on. I legit couldn’t get enough. The mysterious histories between them all. The suspense of what was going on. It made it impossible to put this book down. I know I’m not giving any real details but trust me that is for the best. You HAVE to go into this book blind. When it was over I WASN’T READY!! In fact, I’m still not ready. I need more. I need this series to go on forever. But for now I would settle for never ending Lilith, Kyrin, and Eli scenes.

My Review

Ander and Hadley are back. Breaking hearts and each other’s spirits with the beautiful inevitably toxic love they share. This poor couple is the absolute epitome of the addict and the enabler that will love them into the grave. They both are so irrevocably in love with each other.

But ultimately Ander can’t change who he is and what he does just because of Hadley. If her love was enough he would do it for her in a heartbeat, but Anders’ problems are big. But Hadley knows deep down that she can just love him better, she knows she can’t keep enabling him. It’s gonna hurt and take some huge sacrifice on her part because she just can’t stay in this world of worry and stress with him. But… Has he finally broken his last straw?

This book, like the others in the series, is emotional and raw. It’s so gut wrenching and real at it’s core you can help but to be swept away into Hadley and Anders’ story. To sympathize with everyone who has ever loved someone so much that they have found themselves in a continuous loop like we see here with Ander and Hadley. Their story is devastated and deep and raw and frustrating. But it’s so REAL y’all! There are couples out there like our Ander and Hadley right now and they don’t survive. So I can’t wait for book four. They have such deep strength and love that they pull from one another. Hardly is so much stronger than she knows and if anyone can be the incentive to make him get clean forever it’s her. I just hope it works. 

Please read this delicious angst fest. You will be on the edge the entire time. This book is all highs and lows for our characters and all of it is magnificent writing. Get it today!!

Holy Sh-Wait What in the World?!!!

This book is amazing beyond my ability to convey with enough words. Make You Beg by Shantel Tessier was all consuming and addictive. It drew me into this intriguing dark, and dangerous world that Shantel created and I never WANTED TO LEAVE.

GAH!! What a sexy and twisted mind trip. So many times I probably should have been like “what in tarnations is happening?” But these scenes grabbed a hold of me more.

This book will have you guessing from moment to fast paced moment. I had theories upon theories running through my head about what might be around the next corner. Yet, it still had my jaw dropping each and every time. Shantel absolutely swept the rug out from underneath this girls feet and I freakin loved it!! 

If you love all the sexy, dark, dangerous, and deliciously mysterious. GRAB THIS BOOK!! 

This is the bully romance you MUST NOT MISS! 

I really can’t say anything about what happens or anything about the characters personalities because I won’t deprive you of this experience. It was truly an unforgettable reading experience. It read like a movie with such vivid details I saw every sight, smelled every smell and my heart sped up, grew cold, and broke right along with these characters.  This book was hot and sexy, it was cold and calculating, it was unexpectedly shocking and it.was.perfect. I am OBSESSED! I would do anything for some more from this world. It’s phenomenal!
