My word y’all! I knew another cliffhanger was probably coming because this IS a three book series but honestly, I was.not.ready for this cliffy!!🤯😱 Don’t worry, book three isn’t too far off. Thank goodness. 🖤🖤🖤

Thief is the second full length book in the Loxley Prep series and must be read after Traitor as it picked right up where Traitor left us hanging on edge. This book unravels further into what actually went down at Camp Capitree. Unfolding between past and present, I was absolutely captivated by the whole premise of Camp Capitree and all the evil that went down there. IRL, I can’t imagine the long term trauma a place like that would have on still developing children and teens. 💔 This is why I’m a foster parent. But as far as Thief goes, I love how this author writes the events and storyline surrounding Camp Capitree.

I really like how slowly we are getting to know more and more about the complexity of these characters. I love them as individuals and as a group. While she’s made a lot of progress with some, she’s got some more work with others. This is not an easy just kiss and make up journey.

I know I’m being somewhat vague but that’s entirely on purpose as I think these books are better to go in blind. The jaw dropping experience is that much better when you have no idea what’s coming your way. 😉 🤯😱

With lots of slow burn deliciousness. Plenty of secrets, twists, turns and even more questions. My mind is whirling y’all! 🌪 You will once again be left chomping at the bit for the next book which I am anticipating wrapping up this storyline for us and leaving us perfectly satisfied with all our questions wrapped up perfectly with a bow. ( fingers crossed 🤞🏻)

OMG!! My book lovin’ friends. If you loved Give Me A Reason, like I did, you are going to die over Say It’s Forever. Because… Jud+Salem+Junie = PERFECTION 🥰

Jud is a broken bad boy. Tragically flawed and feeling undeserving due to a pretty traumatic childhood then a devastating loss in more recent years. This has left him void of any desire to be able or willing to become emotionally attached. Or so he thought. One night on the side of the road a dark haired vision with a broken down car changes everything he thought he knew about himself and the stipulations he set for his life.

The more he is around her the more he can’t keep his hands off of her. He is grumpy yet protective.He is by no means anyone’s hero, but he can’t help but to want to help her out. Something about her just calls to him. Like magic, “Black Fuckin’ magic.”😈

This story is full of explosive💥 Chemistry like no other from right off the bat after they meet. Every interaction between them was addictive, it sucked me right into their world. I was fanning myself and getting all red in the face. Clutching my imaginary pearls, cause good lort it ‘twas’ hawt!! 🥵🔥💥The writing was phenomenal and engaging. You could really feel the characters’ internal struggles. Jud because of his past he doesn’t feel deserving of a happy future and Salem doesn’t feel she will ever be anywhere long enough to build a future before she’s onto the next place. I loved getting more with Trent, Gage, Eden, Logan, and even Tessa. I can’t wait for Logan’s book and would love it if we can get a Tessa story somewhere too? 🤞🏻Fingers crossed. 🤞🏻FIVE it’s FOREVER STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

HOLY HOT FREAKING HELL!!

Shantel, My Sinful Shockfactor Queen!!

You have done it again! Sabotage is delightfully dirty and devastatingly depraved from the opening scene. It’s unforgettable and completely consuming with its explosive chemistry and intoxicating mixture of anger, hatred, revenge, and even provocative love.

Raylee and Colton have what is considered a taboo relationship. They also have a very much Hate/Hate relationship for most of the book, and that’s what makes it so tantalizingly toxic. 🖤 But I also happen to think the line between hate and love is very thin. Plus we are dealing with two people who are not very good at sharing and are most definitely very jealous and possessive and can be very over the top about it. Plus can you imagine having it bad for someone you can’t have?! Doesn’t forbidden fruit always taste the sweetest? 😈

What I love about these characters is that they are unapologetic about who they are and what they each bring to the table when they are together. Unapologetic in how they fight with and for and about each other. Which I happened to think was hot, so dang hot. 🥵🔥 Raylee is a tough cookie and she likes what she likes. I mean she knows how she may be looked at by others but she just chucks in the I don’t give frogs fat fanny bucket and and moves on and gets hers. I envy that part of her. To be that free in that way. Colt just does it for me. I admit I’m a little twisted. Colt and all the craziness and twisted turns he will bring your way. What a ride you have coming for you.This book has so much mind blowing going on. I’m still processing. Yaaasss!

OMG! There aren’t words that can describe to you how hot these scenes are. Shantel has a gift, the mind of the money shot. Things you couldn’t have even imagined you’d want to read but you are instantly insanely obsessed over. She will push you out of your comfort zone, test your boundaries and have you questioning your own desires. I’m absolutely amazed by all the ways in which She manages to captivate us all with the words at the tips of her talented little fingers. Phenomenal job!🙌🏻🙌🏻

My Review

Holy Secrets and Deception Y’all!! This story is deliciously dark and dirty. There are so many unexpected things going on in this book from the very beginning. I love the entire premise of Mischief Night. It’s got this whole secret society feel. But with no rules or supervision, there’s no telling what these rich kids will get up to or what the consequences are for the things they get up to.

The history of the protective nature of Caspian towards Tatums drew me right into this book. The dirty talking and forbidden aspects to Tatum and Caspian is everything I love and look for in a book like this. The dynamics of this world, the elite social standings, the corruption… gah!! I’m obsessed with storylines like this. The rebelliousness of these characters had me quickly addicted to this series and I can’t wait for more.

This story is full of secrets, lies, action, steamy scenes, and mystery. You will have plenty of “make you want to throw your kindle” moments of frustration. It’s so exciting to know we will get more from this series, but Caspian and Tatum’s story may be read as a complete standalone. This was my first book by this author but I can’t wait to start devouring her back log. I really like her style!

Both tantalizingly toxic and deliciously depraved, Descent is like nothing else I have ever read before! Unquestionably unique, this f’ed up opposite of a fairytale will leave you awestruck and words will fail you. This story will make you question your sanity at times. Because you will fall in love with Calvin Cutler, the biggest anti-hero Sam has ever written! You will be floored at your ability to loathe and love simultaneously. But I assure you, you will fall for him. You might even hate yourself a little for it too. This story was maddening and that gave it such an addicting quality that I couldn’t stop reading once I started. I mean let’s just face it, Sam writes the alpha-asshole like no one else. I mean heavens to Betsy y’all! There are so many ways in which I found myself completely mesmerized yet turned on by the psychological torment Calvin put Hallie through.

I don’t want to give any specific details about the book away as the entire plot line is one trigger warning after another and any specifics would all be spoilers and #spoilerssuck. Holy Hell!! I have never gone from I hate you, to I love you, so freaking fast. 🤬🥰

I absolutely hated these triplets in the Cinderella Trilogy. Now I find myself falling for each one of them. Separately, together. I just am obsessed with them. The slight differences in their personalities made me love them as individuals. However, the way they collectively love and back each other makes them more human and somehow relatable than the monsters we met previously. I was blown away with how each one cares for Landry with his own unique touch. Whether he was softer, smoother, or with a little rougher hand made them a uniquely magnificent trio of amazingness.

There was mystery and suspense and angst and loads more awesomeness in this story. I won’t give specifics because trust me… going in completely Hellen Keller on this one my friends. It’s best to know nothing of what’s coming your way. We’re just getting into their story good here but I’m already addicted to Landry and her bad boys.

My Review

Deliver Us is one of the most dark, delicious, sinister , addictive series I have ever read. It is so raw and gritty and spares no deviously demented deltail that I really should be more disturbed, instead… I cannot get enough of these characters who should be unredeemable in every way. I’m a true sucker for a Stockholmn y’all! I want to see the most darling sinde to the former deplorable. Give me all the redemption, absolution, let me see every heard fought moment of vindication.

In Deliver , book one we get the story of Liv and Joshua Carter, the All American, college football hero on his path to a life serving his creator. Unknowingly watched and ultimately chosen because he painted the picture of innocence with his gorgeous green eyes, Christiananity and disciplined skills on the field and off around his parents’ farm. Captured by the Deliverer to be trained as a slave for the Master that will ultimately purchase him , Liv, once a former captive since she was seventeen and slave herself, is tasked with training him.

From the get go things start to go anyway but how Liv predicted. I’m not gonna give anything away , but I will say that while Joshua did me the qualifications the buyer was looking for, Live was so inexplicably drawn to him from the first moment she had seen him and no matter what he was going to be the one they took.

“He was a glimmer of goodness in her dark fucking world, a warm spark she could hold, if only for a fleeting span of time.”

From early on he felt there was more to Liv than the cold Mistress vibe she was trying to portray. This story is so dark and all the webs that weave the ways this story connects all the characters together, Liv, Van, and Josh are emotional, and shocking. I felt ALL the feels in this book. Frustration, love, sickness, mad, sadness, desperation, overwhelmed, fear, redemption, angst and suspense. I loved Liv and Josh. I loved the hope he gave her. He was a walking ray of hope and second chance at life and our tragically broken and destroyed Liv needed that and more. Five Heart Stopping Stars ⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️

HOLY HOT HELL!! If I thought I loved Liv and Josh’s story, Yall! It had nothing on the number that Van and Amber’s story did on my heart. I HATED Van’s character for three fourths of book one and then right at the very end of book one something happens and I was in tears.

Y’all really he was disgusting, creepy and seemed to have no conscience whatsoever. He had this weird love with Liv, but it was misplaced. He was trained to be the tyrant he was, by people who he should have been able to depend on. Anyhoo, when we start with book two it’s around a year after the end of book one ended, and he is back up to his old watching/stalking ways, but there is a legit reason for it.

During his staking out he runs across Amber, a former beauty queen with agoraphobia. In his selfish mind he quickly realizes one; she may have more issues than him and two; she just might be able to help him with his plans. The more I learned about this woman I was just so heartbroken for her.

Van may be up to some of his old ways when he goes about helping Amber but OMG, this book is so freakin unexpected. It’s full of elements of violence, torture, emprisonment, with edgy BDSM themes used as coping mechanisms, yet it still a book oh so much hope and healing.

“I enslaved her for seven years because I was selfish. That’s not love, Amber, which was why I never thought to free her.”

We see such a side to Van I think we didn’t even know existed to help Amber. IN helping heal her, he healed so much of his own brokenness, learned to care for someone so much that your own agenda mattered less than protected them did. GAH! I will never be the same after this book. TBH Vanquish is probably one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE stories of vindication and redemption. OMG! This series just continues to get better and better. In Disclaim we have the story of Camilla Liv’s first captive that was captured and trained by her and Van.

Now no longer held captive but lives her life to fight to end human slave trafficking. She will do whatever it takes to ensure that happens, even if that means going in as a slave herself again. Things take a turn she could have never expected when she comes face to face with the boy she was best friends with as a teeenager before she was captured. The boy who was supposed to get all her firsts.

Everything Matias and Camilla have been through and if there is any way they can overcome those insurmountable obstacles.

My Review

Deliver Us is one of the most dark, delicious, sinister , addictive series I have ever read. It is so raw and gritty and spares no deviously demented deltail that I really should be more disturbed, instead… I cannot get enough of these characters who should be unredeemable in every way. I’m a true sucker for a Stockholmn y’all! I want to see the most darling sinde to the former deplorable. Give me all the redemption, absolution, let me see every heard fought moment of vindication.

Deliver

In Deliver , book one we get the story of Liv and Joshua Carter, the All American, college football hero on his path to a life serving his creator. Unknowingly watched and ultimately chosen because he painted the picture of innocence with his gorgeous green eyes, Christiananity and disciplined skills on the field and off around his parents’ farm. Captured by the Deliverer to be trained as a slave for the Master that will ultimately purchase him , Liv, once a former captive since she was seventeen and slave herself, is tasked with training him.

From the get go things start to go anyway but how Liv predicted. I’m not gonna give anything away , but I will say that while Joshua did me the qualifications the buyer was looking for, Live was so inexplicably drawn to him from the first moment she had seen him and no matter what he was going to be the one they took.

“He was a glimmer of goodness in her dark fucking world, a warm spark she could hold, if only for a fleeting span of time.”

From early on he felt there was more to Liv than the cold Mistress vibe she was trying to portray. This story is so dark and all the webs that weave the ways this story connects all the characters together, Liv, Van, and Josh are emotional, and shocking. I felt ALL the feels in this book. Frustration, love, sickness, mad, sadness, desperation, overwhelmed, fear, redemption, angst and suspense. I loved Liv and Josh. I loved the hope he gave her. He was a walking ray of hope and second chance at life and our tragically broken and destroyed Liv needed that and more. Five Heart Stopping Stars ⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️

Vanquish

HOLY HOT HELL!! If I thought I loved Liv and Josh’s story, Yall! It had nothing on the number that Van and Amber’s story did on my heart. I HATED Van’s character for three fourths of book one and then right at the very end of book one something happens and I was in tears.
