My Review

After picking up right where that epic cliffy left us hanging at the end of Triple Threat, Landry and Della’s attempt to run away. We get to see the aftermath of just how Landry deals with the fall out of her revelations about “Ford Mann” 🤯and all the secrets “he’d” been keeping from her and just how far “he” is willing to go to have her under his “protection.”  

I love the transformation we have seen in these “Terror Triplets” Holy McMoly! 🥰😍They have legit went from detested to desired in my eyes. From loathed to loved. From unredeemable to redeemed. The way they are with Della melted this old gals heart. They way they are with Landry melted my under goods. Poof! Incinerated 💥them panties right off. HAWT DANG.🥵🔥🥵 They had this sweetly protective side we hadn’t seen from them before and it was so hot. They were all still alpha AF in their own way but each was able to give her what she needed and be exactly what she needed him to be. 

This book had lots of mysteries that would finally begin to come to light. Questions you had from the first book would finally be answered and you will find yourself on the edge of your seat. It’s quite the ride. You might have to look to some enemies for help or wonder if your friends are really friends or foe. You will worry if Landry and Della will be found and If so what will happen to them. But In the end you will discover the lengths in which those who truly love you will go to to protect you. My mind was in shambles with all the emotions running through it. But I loved every second!! Read this Phenomenally Fantastic Duet Today!! My Review

This was the perfect conclusion to the duet! Like break me absolutely in half and put me back together again. Keeping me completely on edge the entire way through Calder and Sutton’s continuing storyline. Blood, sweat and tears were shed by all. This story, as gritty and devastating as it was gripping and perfect. Everything that happened, had to happen the way it did for it to go the way it did. Trilina artfully plotted and planned down to the finest of details. My senses were in overdrive. I felt like I was there. Felt the fear, heartbreak, love, loss, excitement, all alongside the characters. That’s the mark of a truly great book. You get so enraptured by the story you forget you are not actually in that moment. Guys I’m telling you. Grab this duet! It is magical. My Review

I’m a conflict of emotions right now y’all! Door of Bruises is the fourth and final book in the Thornchapel Series. I couldn’t help wondering exactly what lied ahead for our beloved characters. I knew there was a chance that outcome that might not be what I would choose had left me concerned for months. So while I am so sad to see this series come to an end, I was left terrified at the end of Harvest of Sighs so I’m glad to have had my resolution. Yet, still now that it’s all over, I’m somewhat perplexed by my feelings. Ultimately I’m happy with the ending I got, but it’s not as it thought it would be. I was left with some unanswered questions, but that was to prove a point, so I get it. But Sierra Simone is known for her daring and non-typical approach to her stories and the ending and epilogue is what you get in Door of Bruises. I guess that is the better way to put it, it was anything by typical but honestly it needed to be this way. I have spun it in my mind so many times, I think it had to go the way it did. Ultimately for four books she was preparing us for this. 

Door of Bruises takes us back to Thornchapel. Back to this beautiful world Sierra Simone has created for us. A world where six uniquely different but inexplicably drawn to one another wonderful characters are. They find themselves called back to the rituals even their parents had been celebrating on the same land for years. Since the first book we have had more secrets, more lies and more kink than ever unfolding all to lead us here. Just when everyone has found their place and things seemed okay a secret door 🚪 appears and changed everything.

Now we find characters agonizing over what to do about the strange door that has appeared and curious over the other strange phenomena🥀🚪🤒☠️ that’s also starting happening in town surrounding Thornchapel. They are worried but have no choice but to batten down their hatches and try to find out all the information they can about what history says about the door, so they start scouring the library for answers.  I’m not gonna give anymore away I will just say, you will get everything you love with this series. Plus more! 

All the Sex, secrets, mystery, love, kink, heartache and forgiveness. It will bring you both pleasure and pain as you take this emotional journey with Beckett, Rebecca, Delphine, St.Sebastian, Proserpina and our pouty peacoat wearing Auden. Prepare to cry the last chapter or two, I know I sure did!! 

Sierra Simone is phenomenal. She gave us a perfect tale of love, lust, respect, kink and trust between these  friends that allows them to explore far beyond who they really are as just being friends. What an amazing collaboration of intriguing old tales, folklore and biblical stories all weaved together with her own storytelling and vision is just mind blowing. My Review

Oh Yes, friends! HIS  is book two of The Ties That Bind, a dark mafia romance duet from A. Zavarelli and Natasha Knight. This amazing duo wrapped this up fantastically. I was not disappointed. This book is dark, angsty, and gritty. This will have you spinning from the very beginning, where it picks right up where Mine left us. 

Lev, Katerina and Josh are on the run. Their lives are at stake when Lev’s uncle sets out to serve up the ultimate revenge. Levka’s loyalties and priorities have seriously shifted since book one.  Now that he knows he has a son and his son’s mother, who he happens to love, to protect and he will do whatever it takes and destroy anyone who threatens what is his. He’s read to start a war! While assembling his team of allies secrets come to light that could change everything for Katya and Josh. When it’s all said and done, will he be able to take his family and walk away for this life for good? I love LEV!! 😍 I love how Katya and Josh changed this man!

My Review

OH-MY-HOLY-HADES!! Y’all! My heart, My head. I’m all over the flippin place. This conclusion was EVERYTHING!  S.M.Soto is a master craftsman when it comes to serving up emotional literary beatings. This conclusion was all that I was hoping for, yet I was blindsided so many times over with twists and turns. I couldn’t have seen them coming with binoculars, Y’all! Everything about Baz and Mackenzie’s love story was Astonishing!

Mackenzie is back and more ready than ever to get to the bottom of the truth. But just how far is she willing to go. When she starts to unfold more and more secrets, She doesn’t know who to trust. Putting her trust in the wrong person could be catastrophic for her. Struggling with the battle between her head and her heart she’s not sure if Baz is with her or against her.

This conclusion will keep you on the edge of your seat. I stayed breathless for most of this book, gasping over and over again. I’m in awe and the amount of suspenseful greatness S.M. Soto stuffed into this phenomenal book. It was unpredictable and unexpected from chapter to chapter and I loved every second. Every jaw dropping, heart stopping, wanna throw my kindle across the room moment! 

This is a MUST READ DUET!
