I treat eating pancakes on patios like it’s a personality trait.

Brunch is my jam. I like the beach, shopping, carbs, and reading naughty books on the train during my commute. I wear pink. Lots of it. If Tinder were an Olympic sport, I’d take home the gold. I can rock stilettos like they’re a pair of Nike joggers. I’m basically basic.

I’m in the prime of my life. I’ve got my dream job as the head of marketing, and I’ve been steadily dating myself for the better half of the last decade. I’m thirty, flirty, and thriving.

Or at least I was, until some jerk had the audacity to turn me into a vampire.

I don’t do blood and doom and gloom. I sure as hell don’t like sleeping in a coffin, avoiding garlic bread, and these ridiculous vamp politics. And don’t get me started on Diego. He’s vampire royalty and a pain in my butt. A very sexy pain in the butt. When he’s not driving me crazy with all his rules, he’s turning my panties into Niagara falls.

I absolutely refuse to live the rest of my immortal life in some wannabe nineties grunge music video.

My Review

Holy bloodbags baby!! Well This Sucks was ah-ma-zing! Not only did it NOT suck, It was Sucking hilarious, intriguing, unputdownable. IT.WAS.EVERYTHING! I’m not usually a PNR or vampire romance fan… well except maybe CoryHaim and Feldman. Gotta give a little Lost Boys shout out!! But I knew with the duo that literally keeps me dead I would be in for a ton o’ fun! 

I mean we were set up from page one with hilarious antics. Our main h, Drew’s tinder date gone wrong sent us down the path of many, and I do mean many mishaps to come. From Drew’s not so happy childhood history, to her job as an executive at a sex toy company, to being changed against her will be prepared to hang onto chapter after chapter. Drew is my spirit chick. She’s my woman of empowerment and I want to be her when I grow up. Her life isn’t easy but I loved her approach and the way she embraced the suck! Hilariousness, mixed in with some reality jam packed with centuries old vampire rules and customs, policies and politics to the learning of how to be a proper vampire 101. I’m here for all of it. I need this in a movie. I would watch this over and over. I can assure you, I’m gonna reread it, multiple times. 

Then we have Diego the all powerful, Alpha Vampire King. He’s the ruler, delicious and dirty. He is immediately drawn to Drew. The fledgling charged without her permission. The fledgling who is also fated and heavily attracted too. He wants her as his queen, but he wants her to want to be queen, by her choice. Not because of being fated, or some centuries old custom, but by her choice. Something that she hasn’t got to make a lot of in her life. He may be a bloodsucker, but he was good down to his ice cold dead heart. For an immortal he sure gave me warm and fuzzies😍 and kept me hot under the collar.🔥 

This entire cast of characters with their craziness, even down to the the cat (OMG the cats name) and granny Betty(she’s my home girl yo)🙌🏻 it is one thing after another. It really was a such a fabulous break from all the chaos that’s Going on in life right now. So.needed! GAH! The brilliance in which CoraLee and Carrie bounced off of each other was pure perfection. I cannot commend them enough. First Looking to Score the  Aggro and then this… I mean they are dynamite. There is nothing they can’t write together. NOTHING!! CoraLee +Carrie = Pure Literary Magnificence!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Well This Sucks is my new OBSESSION Y’ALL! This book SUCKED me, get it (hehehe) me from the first hilarious page. With witty banter, flipping fantastically hilarious scenes, a blend of emotions, it was still super sexy and swoony. It was also read like a  cross between the funny knock off and the real version of an awesome vampire movie  but with the full hot “R” rated bumpin bedroom scenes. So. Sucking.Good! 

🔥🔥🔥🔥- What can I say, Daddy Deigo can have a go at me any day of the week and twice on a Sunday. This was HOT AS The seventh circle of hades!! 🌪Cliffhanger Warning-🌪🌪 No Cliffy! You get a HEA, and You get a HEA!  😍😍
