“What a thrilling, twisted, and tantalizing tale CoraLee June weaves.A Lovely Obsession is a BANG-UP BOOK that blazes with fire, burns with angst, and bleeds beauty. So INTENSE and INTOXICATING. This tale was my DRUG and I could not take enough hits of this HEADY HIGH. My heart raced the whole time reading. My guardian angel is a devil in disguise.
He hates me. He protects me.
He watches me.
My stalker is obsessed with keeping me safe. He calls me his prettiest debt.
An assassin in the notorious Bullet gang, he uses his empire to control my life. Everything I know is a lie.
What started as a debt turned into something more. What started as regret turned into obsession.
Ambition is his muse and I am his conscience. Our past may bind us together, but his enemies will tear us apart.
My guardian angel is a devil in disguise.
He hates me. He protects me.
And I think I love him.
O-M-G!!!I need book two like ASAP!! I mean everything about this book, starting page one, actually the blurb. I was like “ah hell this ones keeping me up tonight.” Hunter (so appropriately named BTW) and Roe’s story is absolutely unlike ANYTHING else out there right now. It’s dark and raw and twisted. It’s gritty and suspenseful. This book will literally take you from your gut wrenched up in knots to your stomach filled with the flutter of butterflies courtesy of our main hero Hunter.
Hunter and Roe were bound by a connection that started the day she was born. Unbeknownst to her she was Hunter’s obsession, his self imposed debt, keeping her safe was his life’s mission. So from a distance he watched, she was his “prettiest debt” after all, he would do anything and everything to keep her safe. Until one day he had to come out of the shadows.
Hunter was gorgeous, yet mysterious. He was brash and controlling and a bit rough, but immediately on the flip side gentle and caring towards Roe’s safety. He was Alpha AF and brooding. Like you get the feeling he’s this damaged broken man out to get revenge for the past, but you know inside lies a gooey chocolate center that only Roe has the ability to melt. My heart broke for this character.
“Our kiss tasted like salt and sadness.”
Roe’s character is amazing. She’s tough and smart and totally badass, all of which I don’t think she even realizes. She’s this rare gem of a girl. She’s reserved yet wild at the same time. She’s lonely, yet has her pick of the guys if she wants. She wants more from her life but she hasn’t necessarily ever thought she would have more. When she meets Hunter it’s not under great circumstances. She calls him her “stalker.” Yet she’s intrigued by this beautifully terrifying man. He’s such a contradiction.
She doesn’t know if she hates him or wants him from one minute to thenext? She just suspects he’s grappling with those same conflicting emotions. What happens when outside dangers threaten her safety? Can Roe handle the truth when she finds out why Hunter has had this obsession with her for all these years? How will Roe take it when Hunter makes all decisions for both of them?
“You’re releasing me of my debt. I’m releasing you of me.”
I literally ran the gamut of emotions with this book friends. There was so much chemistry and longing between these characters. GAAHH! It was phenomenal the push and pull for so long. The fight they put up. Hells yeah!! This book is packed with suspense and angst too. I was thinking and had so many theories floating around in my head. I kept internally looking around the next corner for what was going to happen next. It was so good, I couldn’t have guessed! Then the cliffhanger and the end!! NOOO this wasn’t supposed to happen this way. Now I need book two like, well yesterday! 🙏🏻Hunter and Roe my heart is devastated right now.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐️- Obsession I’m officially Obsessed. This book was everything but more. It was so full of lies, lies, and more lies. It was full of action. All those secrets led to suspense, angst, and GAH the sex! Man the banter, blood, tears, sexual tension. All the plots for revenge, I felt like I was full of frustration! For so many things at different times. The characters are fantastic and complex and I can’t wait for more! I’m literally on edge from the end of this book!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥-OMG! HOLY FREAKIN SEVENTH CIRCLE OF HELL!! I mean like grab your book and chuck your panties at the door to avoid changing them over and over!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🌪Cliffhanger Warning-🌪🌪CLIFFHANGER! CLIFFY Your heart will not be happy at the end. 😭💔😭
🔫 Trigger Warning-This does have gang-ish/fight scenes that are a little graphic and could be considered triggers for some. If you have concerns you can PM for more information.

Blake Carson can’t afford to have a life. Between working full-time as a tattoo artist and caring for his disabled twin brother Jacob, his plate is more than full – and he prefers it that way.
But his meticulous planning is turned on its head when he meets the upbeat and beautiful Audrey Wright and her butterfly tattoo.
Now, through a complicated maze of coincidence and fate, Blake begins to question if maybe there could be more to his life than just work and Jacob.
That is, if the guilt doesn’t eat him alive first.
With the help of Dr. Vanessa Travetti and a girl he doesn’t think he deserves, can Blake convince himself that even the bad guy deserves a happy ending?
Oh Guys. I can’t even!😍😭 It’s almost indescribable the emotions this book brought out in me. It was completely unexpected. I love Kelsey Kingsley’s writing, but I will be honest and say for me I have so much more love and feelings about this book than I could ever even begun to have predicted. Blake and Audrey’s story is one that will stick with me in the back of my mind and heart for weeks and months maybe even years to come.
Blake Carson has to be one of my most favorite book boyfriends ever. He is damaged and broken in ways I couldn’t possibly fathom. His life revolves around his amazing yet disabled twin brother, Jacob “Jake” and his job as a talented tattoo artist, with a talent so far out of the realm of what he realizes. He’s amazing really, but Blake is a walking bag of culpability and self loathing. He blames himself for something that happened as a child and for that feels he is undeserving of any of the good things life has to offer. The only bright spot in his life is Jake. Jake is a bright spot and a responsibility, Jake is his life and his future and he bases everything and ever decision on the impact it will have on Jake.
I’m in love with Blake, his character, the love he has for his brother literally melted my heart into a puddle of goo over and over again. The way he handled him. GAAHHH!! Words almost fail me here. I want to be able to describe the transformation Blake’s character had over the course of this book without giving anything away but it would be impossible and also a disservice to the readers experience of getting it like I did, which was to go in not knowing what you are in for. The way Blake and Audrey couldn’t be more different was almost comical but this amazing woman brought this man everything he didn’t know he needed.
Audrey… y’all this woman. Her story was devastatingly heartbreaking , yet full of hope and faith and fate. It was everything. This woman in her pastel and preppy clothes with her all black wearin’ tattooed alpha-hole. I couldn’t get enough. The way she was with Blake’s brother, Jake. Oh My Heart!! 😭♥️ She gave him glimpses of everything he didn’t know he was missing or even dreamed of and she gave him the strength to go for it. She helped him to examine things he’d been denying for many years. He just needed her. They were meant to be, long before they ever even met.
This book had so many subtle fate, kismet, god, faith spiritual and I guess you could call it something or someone that’s no longer with us trying to tell you something, moments in it. It gave you this mysteriously magical feeling the whole time you read it. I didn’t know what was going to happen next, but I had feelings. No always good, but that was part of the emotional experience that was this book. This was not a short book by any means, but I literally devoured this book in less than twenty-four hours. I ignored all adulting and couldn’t do anything else. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. I was addicted to Blake and Audrey and their journey. I was captivated every second. I cried until I felt like I had no tears left. I smiled until my face hurt, and my oldest daughter noticed and asked “ WTH is wrong with you? You’re smiling kinda creepy over there at nothing. Lol 😂 (I had to tell her I was reading and It was amazing) It left me warm and gooey and also terrified and irate at some moments. This is a book that will hit every emotion you have and not always with a gentle had. So yeah, Kelsey is gonna serve you up and emotion beat down. Then in the end she will give you a little hug, fix it all better and send you on your merry way.
My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!
⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐⭐️-I just had to throw in a sixth star because this has already become one of my favorite reads of 2020. This book is full of drama, angst, forgiveness, faith and transformation. Holy cow it’s just so many things all in one. I loved these characters so much more that I can put into words. This book had it all .
🔥🔥🔥🔥-OMG! HOLY HOT BISCUITS AND GRAVY !! Blake is just dirty and delicious AF!! Kelsey doesn’t typically do too explicit of sexy scenes in the books of hers I have read (which I happen to really like explicit) However it doesn’t even bother me the lack of explicit details. This one is almost hotter in what’s not said. The build up y’all!! 🔥🔥It’s not really a fade-to-black IMO, but it’s not super descriptive either it’s just enough if that makes sense? It tells you what went down, so don’t worry. But it all it works so well it’s just amazingly hot, because Blake and Audrey are just hot as Holy Hell!
🌪Cliffhanger Warning-No cliffhanger! HEA! This ending was pure perfection! Just… ahh! That good y’all! 😍😍
“Hey, Blake,” Audrey answered, a smile in her voice.
“This is the second time you’ve called me in three days.”
“You’re keeping count?”
She scoffed lightheartedly. “Duh. I mean, I might be a grown woman, but deep down, I’m still a girl who has it pretty bad for this really hot guy.”

Manhattan, a standalone in the Becker Brothers series, a small town, country, friends-to-lovers romance, is LIVE!
The fire… the guitar… THE FEELS!
Everyone knows not to fall in love with your best friend.
But when your best friend is Michael Becker, it’s impossible not to.
He’s everything our town knows a Becker brother to be: devastatingly handsome, charming as a thief, and the icing on the cake — a sentimental musician who’s never without his guitar.
And he was mine. At least, that’s what I’d convinced myself.
Our bond was born in elementary school, strengthened by circumstance and the promise to always be there for each other, no matter what. And the best thing about my life was being friends with Michael Becker.
Until it was the worst.
I watched him fall in love with someone else, and helped patch him back up when she left him behind. But when he drops the bomb that he’s moving to New York, I realize it’s my last chance to tell him how I feel. And I ask him to make one more promise.
One summer. One list of adventures to remind him that our small town has more to offer than memories of the girl who left him behind.
One last chance to tell him I’m in love with him.
And I’m just dumb enough to believe that maybe he could love me, too.
You’ll love this book if you love:
➔ small town romance
➔ country romance
➔ summer romance
➔ romantic mystery
➔ slow burn
I was absolutely counting the days for Mikey Becker’s story. I’m in love with them Becker boys and I couldn’t wait to read about our eighteen year old, sweet faced baby Becker boy who’s high school sweetheart, Bailey Baker, up and left to go to Nashville to become the next big country music sensation. Leaving our precious Michael behind and heartbroken. Mikey is sensitive and sweet. He’s plays the guitar, but if you’ve read Neat you know what happens with that a little.
The whole breakup, It’s was too much and he needs to get out of this town of Stratford, so he announces he’s moving to New York at the end of the summer after his high school graduation. Leaving his family and best friend, Kylie with jaws dropped and tears in their eyes.
Kylie Nelson has been best friends with Michael Becker since she was eight years old. Bonded by tragedy. They have been through everything together, all the awkward ups and downs of growing up. She has also been secretly longing for being more than friends for many of her teen years as well. She had to endure not only watching him meet and fall in love with Bailey Baker, but as his best friend her duty was to give advice and suggestions that required a “girls point of view.” So she sucked it up being the amazing friend she is, and helped Bailey get and then eventually hurt “her guy.”
Kylie was beautiful, and funny and giving and loving. All these things she didn’t even realize, which made me love her character even more. She had suffered a great loss just like Mikey Becker and yet she spent her life doing things for other people. The way she cared for her dad was so sweet and even when Mikey was hard to handle and being a complete turd she was there for him and his family. Two of his brothers working at the Scooter Whiskey Distillery and one as a football coach.
Mikey’s announcement shook her as much as his family. So she decided then and there that this was her shot, that finally she would put herself out there and go after what she wanted. She was going to try to make Michael remember all the things he loved the most about home, then maybe he wouldn’t leave and she would finally have her chance to be with him. Would her plan work or will it backfire? Would Mikey ever see her for more than just a friend?
I loved this slow burn, super sweet, friends to lovers romance. This story compared to the other Becker Boy’s books was more tame in the bedroom scenes and was more of a slow burn and the angst and tension between the main characters wasn’t so off the charts in your face as it was in On the Rocks and Neat. BUT, this was still just as much of a five star read for me. With Michael and Kylie’s age the slow burn and sweet bedroom scenes were perfect. Michael was so respectful and gentle with Kylie and it was written in a way that you could tell that he appreciated the gift he had been given and he would cherish it. GAH! It was the sweetest. Yes, they were young but they had built such a solid foundation with their friendship, it was inevitable they would end up together. READ THIS BOOK Y’ALL!
My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book! ⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐️- The Becker Boys and the girls that have captured their hearts have become an obsession for me. I one-click these books so fast. I live for the family meals around Mama Becker’s table and the banter between this rowdy bunch of country boys. They’re as down home and delicious as their Mama’s cooking, and true southern gentlemen. If you haven’t met them yet you’re missing out. 🔥🔥🔥🔥- Sweetness overload! Mikey and Kylie were Sweet Love-Makin’ Perfection! ♥️😍 🌪Cliffhanger Warning-No cliffhanger! This ending was EVERYTHING!

Blurb:A faceless name. That’s all she was when I agreed to play a part in deceiving her.And then the unexpected happened.
I yearn for her skin against mine.I crave her scent on my body.I want to make her laugh and then moan. And I do… in secret.
I promised my business partner I wouldn’t touch his sister. But I broke that promise.
Our little dirty weekends together are no longer enough.I want my bohemian girl in my bed every night. She wants a ring, marriage vows, and babies… all things that I can’t give her.
Our romance is explosive. Our love, epic. Our ending, miserable… unless I bend.
If I don’t bend, I’ll break.
Holy hot biscuits and gravy!! There ain’t nothing better than a dirty talking Cajun and the Bohemian beauty that brings this playboy businessman to his knees. Author Georgia Cates had me hooked from the blurb alone.
I just knew I was in for a naughty little piece of forbidden goodness. It has so many things going for it.

This has the recipe for disaster in the making for Lucas and Lawry in so many ways. The settings, the secondary characters. Everything adds up to the just the perfect amount of sweet smokin’ hot banter, super sexy scenes. Drama and conflict, wondering will they be able to get it together. What’s going to happen when sneaking around comes out?
I love Lawrence “Lawry’s” character. She’s chill and eccentric and a little out there but in a cool way. She’s super gorgeous and hot and has a body made for sin. She has always been a caregiver to her younger brother Oliver, they had a horrible upbringing until they were adopted and that has made her always be super protective of him. When she doesn’t hear from him she shows up to Birmingham, Alabama to surprise him at the beer festival his company is hosting. She is the one who is surprised, however when she ends up hanging out with the captivating Cajun Lucas Broussard, her brothers business partner. Will Lawry risk upsetting her brother by ignoring his orders and give into her desire to start a physical relationship with Lucas while she’s in town? What will happen when Lawry realizes that Lucas can’t or won’t give her all of the things she wants so badly in her future?
Oh Lucas! Man, his character was hot and frustrating at the same time. I like home so much, then I wanted to throttle him. I could see the perfect future… it was so close, within reach, but he was so stubborn. I was really afraid that I might not get the outcome I was hoping for. I was sooo glad we got just the perfect amount of frustration and drama. My kindle survived. Just barely. Lol He totally could redeem himself anytime, in any scene he was in with Aubrey. #UncleBou for the Win!! Absolutely Presh!
My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!
⭐⭐⭐⭐️-This is a previously released book. It’s had some updates done to I think, but I didn’t read it before. So it’s a first for me. I loved it. I really loved all the characters. Definitely recommend. I’m a huge Georgia Cates fan!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥-OMG!!Lucas and Lawry are smokin in the sack y’all! HOLY HOTNESS! 🧨💥🧨💥GIMME ONE OF THEM OLD TIMEY FUNERAL FANS CAUSE IMMA SWEATIN’ lol
🌪Cliffhanger Warning-No cliffhanger! HEA! I can’t wait for the other two books in the series.
