Weston, Callie and Sutton have a story that is beautifully unforgettable. Oh my heart y’all!! 🥰🥹🥰 I  mean who doesn’t love a little unexpected forced proximity? Am I right or am I right?! I’m a total sucker for a single parent romance any day of the week and twice on a Sunday. But when the hero’s heart gets simultaneously captured by the mama and the little at the same time… 🥺 this gal is for sure a goner. West and Callie will melt hearts, panties and kindles everywhere because they are fire.  🔥 Their chemistry is blazing! My Review

Hot Diggity Damn Y’all! There is not a genre or trope Author Holly Renee writes that I do not absolutely obsess over. No lie. I am convinced that she could write the ingredients on a menu advertising a double decker sardine and spam sandwich and I would be the first in line to devour that delicious delicacy. 

This may be this author’s first jump into the fantasy romance pool but she takes it on like Michael Phelps because that’s the kind of word wizard she is, and that is how much she pours herself into each and every project she takes on. BRILLIANT!!

The Kingdom of Stars and Shadows brings us the story of Adara and Evren. Adara, known as the Starblessed and Prince Evren, the non-crowned Prince. Adara has been betrothed since childhood to Prince Gavril, who also happens to be Evren’s brother. She is not happy about this arrangement and decides to do everything in her power to try to escape that fate. Her rebellious and fiery spirit is addictive and you can help but to fall for her. You root for her and your heart bleeds for her. You totally get the draw she has to Evren. This heroine is my kinda gal. Rebellious yet torn. An ass kicker with a heart of gold. Terrified of what’s to come but still so brave and bold. 

Evren is gorgeous and protective. He takes care of Adara in a way that only he can. He is the perfect mix of swoony and alpha. Protective and possessive. Bound by duty and loyalty to his father and brother, a force to be reckoned with. It is a deep struggle for him to watch his brother get closer to taking what he wants so badly. You will fall for him, be frustrated for him and most definitely be fanning yourself over him. He is all kinds of dirty talking, and sexy mysterious power and he will surprise you over and over again. He seems like such a loyal and faithful servant… But to whom is he most loyal?! 

Majestically magical and fabulously forbidden, this story is unique, unforgettably engaging and will have you hanging on every single second from the start until the suckerpunching cliffy at the end. I was left with questions lurking behind everything surrounding Evren. I always felt like I didn’t know everything going on. Like maybe as soon as I thought I had a handle on it I’d get another twist or curve thrown my way to kick things into another gear and I freaking love that feeling.

This is the kind of fantastical fantasy book I live to devour. It’s fascinating and exciting and leaves me giddy with anticipation for the next book, knowing I will get the answers I seek. I’m eager for more Evren, and oh so anxious for all the Adara. Make sure you dive into the dirty deliciousness that is this forbidden, and angsty story full of steam, action, twists, and loads of anger filled banter.  Remember…forbidden fruit always tastes the sweetest.

There was the charm all mixed up with the disorder that was at the heart of this man. 

My chest squeezed and the blood thundered through my veins.

My Review

K. Webster just killed it with this trilogy y’all! This trilogy was perfection, yall! I was so excited to get this final book. Nowon on hand I was on the edge of my seat wondering what all was going to happen and couldn’t wait to see this all play out. Then on the other hand I was dreading the end because I didn’t ever want to let these characters go. 

Ash was the Yin to Win’s Yang. In each they had found their perfect person, their everything, they had found their “ride or die.” I think Ash knew It earlier that Win but patience is a virtue that she does possess so she waited for him to realize it. 

This book picked up right at the end of Prince Charming and so we’re are reading about the fallout from that even and the crap storm that comes afterwards. I won’t give you anything specific but I will just say that conflict between the Constantine’s and the Morielli’s. Holy Cow! Win fighting his true feelings, amAsh trying to convince him not to fight them. All the fighting among rival families, to the lies betrayal that they never expected from some of their closest allies. This made this angst fest all the more delicious. 

Make sure you grab this fantastic trilogy today. This has some of the coolest elements of Cinderella but with a fresh new original take on it. They have to endure lots of ups downs, twists and turns to get to their HEA. So Binge This Series Today!! It’s just another testament to the fact that K. Webster can write absolutely ANYTHING.

The entire cast of secondary characters are amazingly written, from Winson’s brother Perry and his orange abomination ,  Ash’s dad broke my heart in this book, and most of all my homie bird Shrimp!! They all all made  this book unpredictable, unputdownable, and unforgettable. 

🔥Fire/Heat- 🔥🔥🔥🔥There is no doubt that Winston and Ash are OFF THE CHARTS! Perfectly matched deviants in the sheets. Whew doggy. I’m still fanning myself with an old funeral home fan down here in the south. ( that’s how we do it in GA)

My Review

This is without a doubt the most emotionally raw story Erica Marselas has written to date. This story literally broke me, so many times over before I began to heal right along with Alex and June. My emotions were put through the wringer with this second chance, enemies to lovers, forced marriage story that had me pouring out all my tears. 😭 I was filled to the brim with excitement,  devastation, hopes for healing, love, and forgiveness. One of the things that fascinated me with this story was that It was SO different from anything else she had ever written before, proving that that there doesn’t seem to be ANYTHING she cannot write, and she absolutely CRUSHED IT!! 

Told in dual POV, which is my favorite, Alex and June’s story goes back and forth between the past when June was just nineteen years old and present time, five years later. We quickly learn that June is hiding devastatingly dark secrets and trauma. She has been suffering in silence for years, the only bright spots in her life being Alex, her bff Kathleen and their aunt Liz. Just when they were on the path to getting all they had ever wanted and being together, Alex and June lost everything they were just starting to build after one unforgivably tragic event forever altered the course of all of their lives. 😭😱😭

My heart just broke for June. GAH! The tears I cried. To go through all she had over and over, only to lose everything and be blamed for things that were never her fault. It was more than most anyone could have endured. I loved how somehow she was able to pick herself up by her bootstraps and begin to heal, proving she was so much stronger than even she could have ever guessed she had the capabilities to be. How somehow through the anger, hurt,and resentment she helped both Alex and herself heal and move forward together. 💔

Alex was always meant to be the great love of June’s life but I hated him as much as I loved him at times. Everytime he was nasty it broke me, but deep down I understood his misplaced anger. Alex and June were a collection of misunderstandings and that caused them to hurt each other over and over. I was hoping against all hope that they would both pull their heads out of their fannies and get it together. 

I was in awe with Erica’s ability to incorporate characters so much into the story without them actually being present in the scenes. You will understand that more when you read it. But they had such strong influences over Alex and June, both good and bad. I loved it. It made it both funny and shockingly emotional. Like they had someone watching over them that anticipated their steps WAY before they even knew what they were doing, and boy they needed that kick in the pants to get past the past. 😉

Erica did such a great job in June and Alex’s characters. While they are frustrating and flawed, on their own, together they were perfectly imperfect and there was something just so right in the world when they finally got their crap together. Like the heavens opened up and angels sang down.  

Now heed my warning if you have triggers!! This book deals with some heavy subject matter, some serious PTSD and past trauma. If you get through that though there is such a beautiful story at its core. A story of hope, healing, overcoming devastating trauma, and forgiving the hurts inflicted on you by the person you love most in the world. Filled with just the right blend of humorous, and steamy moments to balance the tear jerking and wanna chuck your kindle moments, this book will run the gamut of your emotions and you will love EVERY.SINGLE.SECOND!! 🤗🤗🤩🤩

My Review

Oh my heart. Tequila Rose by Willow Winters is this amazing book that is a quasi-love triangle book that will change the way you think of love triangles. Even the most cynical of love triangle protesters should give this book a try because the circumstances surrounding the ways everything happens makes this feel different from any other love-tris I’ve read. It’s got so much heart and feeling. I was drawn in and addicted from the first page. Invested in the amazing characters Willow had perfectly crafted for us. 

You will find yourself frustratingly torn between the old and the new. Wondering what the intentions are between these men that have such strong holds on our precious love. 

This is the story of Magnolia, her highschool sweetheart, Robert who broke her heart and sent her flying into the arms of Brody after way too many drinks.  Deciding to toss out a BS name, Rose, just to be anyone other than who she is for one night, their connection is undeniable and electric. However that night turned out to be the single most simultaneously worst and best of her life. I’m not gonna give any more details than that because #SpoilersSuck! 

When the gorgeous stranger she thought she would never see again shows up in her home town for work it most definitely throws Magnolia for a loop. She runs out of the lunch bistro so fast it’s like she’s being chased by a swarm of bees. She is so not ready for a reunion she never thought would come. 

Brody is so excited about the prospect of starting over in a new town in a new business venture with his best friend. When he thinks he spots the beautiful girl who still haunts his dreams from four years ago, he surely must be mistaken. A chance run in at lunch and He learns that not only is it his Rose, but she does NOT want anything to do with him now. He makes it his mission to find out everything about the girl the townspeople refer to as “Magnolia.” But is he really ready for the surprise she has in store for him?

Meet Willow


I started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read romance novels and I read everything I could get my hands on. I would read a book a day — sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?

I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. It’s insane to me that I have connected with so many readers.

And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. I’ll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my littles during the day and I write at night. Some days are just simply exhausting and then I hear from a reader and it motivates me to push through and keep writing. I couldn’t be more grateful for this wonderful career.

I am NOT okay you guys! 😭

You know my friends, there will come a time you will read a book that will touch you so profoundly that it will leave you wandering aimlessly for days afterwards in a perpetual state of shock, worry, and frustration. You will go through tears, sadness, still thinking about the book, going back and reading parts again. You will be anticipating the next book and at the same time overcome with so much emotion from the first book. 

THIS was my emotional state after reading Opium Skies. I was not only riding the hot mess express, I’m the freaking train conductor of that bitch. I am so blown away and in awe of C.M.Radcliff  and at the brilliance that she displayed in this book. If you haven’t read her yet…STOP EVERYTHING NOW!! And start devouring her books, because you my book lovin buddies, have been missing out. 

Ander and Hadley’s story hurts, y’all. I’m not gonna lie.  It’s so rivetingly raw and serves you up the harsh truths of love in a world of addiction. What it’s like to be head over heels in love with a liar, with a promise breaker, with someone who will hurt you, because they ultimately love the high more than they love themselves. 

This book is gut-wrenching in its realness, it cuts to the core, because it’s so authentic. I felt like I had a front row seat to the events as they unfolded. Because this author’s attention to detail was top notch. I could close my eyes and picture every single detail. Sights, sounds and smells. No detail too small, just enough to paint the perfect picture in my mind. I mentally was on this journey with them. From the witty banter fun filled moments, to the sexy and steamy moments. 

To the moments that left me crying my eyes out a blubbering mess (and totally getting WTF looks from my family) my friends, be ready to hurt for these characters that I fell so quickly in love with. You will too!  Characters that are by no means perfect, but imperfectly perfect phenomenally written characters. They had unbelievable chemistry from the get go which made their obstacles that much more heartbreaking. I can’t wait for the next book because I am literally left on the edge of my seat grasping at any hint of what’s to come of these characters.

I want them to have the future not only I desire for them but that I think they deserve. I’m holding out hope for a HEA,  but I also know that it seems like at this point my loves, Hadley and Ander are going to have to go through the nine circles of hell and back  to get to that HEA. That is even if they even have a shot… And right now, they have just passed that first circle of hell. Love isn’t the issue. One is on a fast path of destruction…Question is will they take the other down with them?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐️-I am SO in LOVE with this book Y’ALL! I could literally go on for days, actually for weeks about this book because it is still on my mind, heart and soul. Get ready y’all because it WILL take you on a crash course of feelings. complete with loop-de-loops and backwards crawls!  But I happen to believe there is nothing that feels like the release you get from a good release of the build up of tears that can only come with an epic book hangover kind of therapeutic cry!

My eyes fly open and I glance at the door, meeting his stormy blue eyes. 
“What the fuck are you doing, Hadley?” Ander barks as his entire body consumes the doorway. Everyone in the room freezes, glancing between the two of us. 
Narrowing my eyes, I hold his gaze, challenging him as I slide the rolled-up bill across the surface of the dresser, deeply inhaling the bright white powder. My eyes never leave Ander’s as I drop the bill onto the dresser and stand upright, sniffing harder. Ander steps into the room, his entire presence consumes every inch of the space. The two guys in the room instinctively step back, knowing better than to get in his way right now. 
Ander’s eyes are honed in on mine and they burn with the deepest shades of blue. A complete contradiction to the storm that brews within his expression. He stops in front of me, reaching out and grabs my chin. Tilting my head to look back at him, he leans in, his lips just barely touching mine. 
“You wanna play like that, little girl?” He breathes against my lips as a sinister smile pulls on the corners of his lips. “Game on.” 
Quickly releasing me, Ander nudges me to the side and plucks the rolled-up bill from the wood surface. Crossing my arms over my chest, I watch him, slightly amused as he leans over the dresser. Within a matter of seconds, he inhales the remaining lines left and stands back to look at me. 
His pupils are already constricted, but I watch as they transform into just small dots, with his blue irises consuming them. Ander looks down at me with a sly grin playing on his lips, waiting for me to make the next move. 
Abruptly grabbing me by the throat, he pulls me flush against him. My breath catches in my throat. His touch burns against my skin and the blazing fire settles throughout my body, mixing with the euphoria from the Oxy and everything else in my system. 
Heat spreads from my stomach and a warmth creeps between my legs as he leans closer, his warm breath skating across my face. Just as his lips are about to capture mine, he ducks his head to the side, pressing his lips against my ear. 
“Ball’s in your court, babe,” he breathes, his words only meant for me to hear and lightly squeezes my throat. “Your move.”

My Review

I was so excited, counting the moments until this book hit my kindle because I knew it was going to be amazing. But oh my god my friends, I could never, NEVER  have mentally prepared myself for the emotional beating my heart would endure with this book. Siobhan Davis shattered me, broke me, tore me apart in every single way before she put me back together again in what will absolutely be one of my top reads of 2020. Kent and Presley’s journey is so devastating and gritty and heartbreakingly raw. But it’s beautifully heartfelt and healing and the most poignant and perfect example of overcoming insurmountable obstacles and adversity and growing not only as individuals but as a new couple in love. At its core it’s about being broken, shattered in the worst possible ways, and happening upon your one perfect person who has the capabilities to put your broken pieces back together again. My friends, Reforming Kent was a remarkable story that will remain in my heart long after the last page was read. I will think about this story for days if not weeks to come. Because it is one of those kinds of tales that burrow into your hearts and soul and will remain there. 

Kent is the perfectly damaged and broken book boyfriend. He’s young,  hot, reckless and has no conscience about his behaviors, or so it seems. He’s just so unapologetically angry at the world and is out to punish everyone, even those who can’t understand why. My heart just bled for this miserable misunderstood bad boy.

I’m so grateful that Siobhan chose to do Kent’s story last, because I think as we read each brother’s story leading up to this book we got to see glimpses of the paths of destruction he left in his wake. For years he suffered, but definitely never in silence. He was a tsunami of anger and resentment at the world, ready to unleash his fury onto anyone at any given time and we needed to see that build up of madness to really appreciate just how much of a transformation we see in his character. It was truly extraordinary. 

Presley is gorgeous and sassy and at first wants NOTHING to do with playboy Kent. But Kent can’t help to be drawn to the fiery bartender and wants nothing more than to own her body, but who knew she would end up owning his heart. This beautifully broken girl, this phoenix who has risen from the ashes of her grief and put herself back together again after tragedies from her past is everything he never knew he needed and all that he wants most in the world. She is strong, she is courageous, she is everything and more. She is the picture of perseverance and the perfect heroine for our Kent. But can our Presley save Kent when it seems like he doesn’t want to be saved? Or will he destroy her in the process?

My Review

OH-MY-HOLY-HADES!! Y’all! My heart, My head. I’m all over the flippin place. This conclusion was EVERYTHING!  S.M.Soto is a master craftsman when it comes to serving up emotional literary beatings. This conclusion was all that I was hoping for, yet I was blindsided so many times over with twists and turns. I couldn’t have seen them coming with binoculars, Y’all! Everything about Baz and Mackenzie’s love story was Astonishing!

Mackenzie is back and more ready than ever to get to the bottom of the truth. But just how far is she willing to go. When she starts to unfold more and more secrets, She doesn’t know who to trust. Soto stuffed into this phenomenal book. It was unpredictable and unexpected from chapter to chapter and I loved every second. Every jaw dropping, heart stopping, wanna throw my kindle across the room moment!
