For months he searched for Poppy and now here she is in front of him with an obvious bun in her oven…and It’s pretty likely that August is the one that put that bun in Poppy’s oven.👶🏼

Then comes the sweet and swoony side of August and oh he just stole my heart. ♥️ This is a reformed playboy (with a heart of gold). Take note, I said play boy as opposed to Fork-boy. I always knew he was a good guy to his core. Even when he and Poppy were just hooking up, they were only hooking up with each other.

Oh my sweet Poppy. 🥺 My heart just hurt for all she’d been through. She knows how August feels about commitment and that is fine with her until she finds out her future is about to change in a big way. 🤰🏼She felt she couldn’t do that to August so she did the only thing she could think of, she ran. She knew she needed to confront the truth and tell August one day. But a few months passed and she would confront him whether she was ready or not when they happened upon each other. While it seems like August quickly wants to jump right into the deep end, Poppy just wants to tread lightly in the shallow end and guard her heart. But she sees the changes in August. He is going out of his way to prove to her what is most important to him and that is quickly crumbling the walls she’s put up. He wanted to take care of her.

Oh my heart! I legit ATE.IT.UP. He just made me melt. 🫠The way he went after what he wanted. His patience with her, he was smexy, sweet, and sensitive. He went from a non-committal guy to just the guy that knows how to love you wholly. Mind, heart and body. Unselfishly. WOW! Is my love for August obvious or what?! 🥰🥰

I can not get enough of this series. These Wyncote Wolves are everything. My hubby was never into hockey but boy do they have me wishing he was. Lol It’s just so aggressive and testosterone filled and HOTT!! Good GAH! What a great group of guys too. They are just amazingly written characters and I want ALL of their stories. So far in each book we get enough snippets of the ones with stories to come to be intrigued and anticipating the days until we get them. I love that they are all so aggressive and alpha when they need to be. I find myself binging hockey teams on TikTok and picking out I think who would be my who.

Deflected Hearts is told in dual POV ( my personal favorite) and is the second standalone book in the Wyncote Wolves series. I am in love with how Cali Melle’s writing just sucks you right into the story and I cannot get enough of her panty melting, heart stealing heroes and the strong willed and sassy heroines that bring these men to their knees. While you don’t have to read Cross Checked Hearts before reading this book I would definitely recommend checking out Logan and Isla’s story. It is a fantastic brother’s best friend’s romance as Isla is August’s sister and Logan is his best friend.

My Review

K. Webster just killed it with this trilogy y’all! This trilogy was perfection, yall! I was so excited to get this final book. Nowon on hand I was on the edge of my seat wondering what all was going to happen and couldn’t wait to see this all play out. Then on the other hand I was dreading the end because I didn’t ever want to let these characters go.

Ash was the Yin to Win’s Yang. In each they had found their perfect person, their everything, they had found their “ride or die.” I think Ash knew It earlier that Win but patience is a virtue that she does possess so she waited for him to realize it.

This book picked up right at the end of Prince Charming and so we’re are reading about the fallout from that even and the crap storm that comes afterwards. I won’t give you anything specific but I will just say that conflict between the Constantine’s and the Morielli’s. Holy Cow! Win fighting his true feelings, amAsh trying to convince him not to fight them. All the fighting among rival families, to the lies betrayal that they never expected from some of their closest allies. This made this angst fest all the more delicious.

Make sure you grab this fantastic trilogy today. This has some of the coolest elements of Cinderella but with a fresh new original take on it. They have to endure lots of ups downs, twists and turns to get to their HEA. So Binge This Series Today!! It’s just another testament to the fact that K. Webster can write absolutely ANYTHING.

My Review

OMG! This PSU series has me OBSESSED y’all! They are my people. lol couldn’t wait to get back in this world. I needed to know what’s happening with them. Hazed was everything I was hoping it would be.I just can’t get enough of the lives of the PSU crew. I’m so invested. It was filled with drama and misunderstandings, and totally exciting and sexy. It made me laugh and it made me cry. I smiled, swore, fanned myself, cheered and seriously wanted to scream out in frustration. Yup all of that!

I’m never gonna be ready to let these characters go. So I will give you a little spoiler free check in on them.

Bear– Bear is still working on his feelings for a certain gal who has been through the ringer. We have seen our sexy teddy Bear grow so much throughout this series. From the campus playboy to the sweet and devoted friend, he is and will always be one of the best guys in the world! But the million dollar question is… will Bear finally get his girl? Well time will tell, cause I just can’t say nor would I if I could. 😉

Ashlei– Our girl Lei is still suffering from that breakup and firing she was served up by the love of her life Brandon in Ritual. While she’s definitely grown up and definitely coming into her own as a super boss babe, she’s still a work in progress…Romantically speaking.

Erin– Erin is probably the character that’s come the furthest but she still has some more experiences to be had. She had so much to overcome. With the right supportive partner, she just might be a new and improved and healed Erin.

Cassie and Adam are perfect for one another and just enjoying the relationship that they finally have. They endured so much to get where they are now. But it’s looking like the future is going to require more sacrifices and trust than they could have ever imagined. But they haven’t gone through all they have not to put in the work, right?

Jess – After Kade’s familial revolution Jess has found herself in quite the pickle. Torn between old feelings she thought were dead and gone Jess is in trouble. What would you do when your past and present collide?

My Review

OMG!! Break Me! Royce Brayshaw is something else. Break Me it did indeed. Royce and Brielle broke me over and over again. I think I knew even before I read this book that I was going to truly take the most special, most spectacular of heroines to tame our Uncle Bro.

He is the most rowdy, the most broken, the one with arguably the biggest heart. His journey to love was gonna to be full of angst, heartache and, frustration and fears. For such a broken boy as he, we just knew he would fight like hell not to be vulnerable.

Brielle was absolutely the perfect match “Tink” for Royce her “Lost Boy” in every single way! She was feisty and sassy and for all intents and purposes she had every right to give life the big ol’ middle finger but she was still a total sweetheart. With Royce she definitely gave as good as she got, but he totally needed to be put in his place that way. He needed a girl that would verbally spar with him not just roll over and smile and bat her eyes at everything he said. I’m so sad to see the end of this series but couldn’t have been happier with Royce’s ending. I cried SO many times during this book.

This was a hard fought battle to HEA. It’s hard when people don’t think they are deserving of the good things that come their way. My poor heart. I didn’t know how much more I could take. But like she always does, Meagan Brandy being the perfect craftswoman of words she is, brings us to the brink, emotionally breaking us before she will perfectly put us back together again in the end. Get ready to feel all the feelings! Love, frustration, heat, sex, lies, surprises, tears, forgiveness. Just everything. A bunch of constellations of stars for Royce and Brielle!! 🌌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m here for it all! 😍😭♥️🔥♥️😍

My Review

WOW!! Just WOW! Amo Jones has dang near left me speechless. In a puddle of emotions, all of my feelings torn to shreds. I was absolutely broken by the incredible masterpiece that is Sicko, before Amo Jones put me back together piece by piece. Let me start by saying that I think that Amo is incredibly talented and she gets better with every book she writes. As soon as I know she has a new book coming out, I immediately add it to my TBR, block out my schedule for it. This book was no different. It was everything I was hoping for, yet absolutely nothing like I was expecting it to be. It. Was.So.Much.More!

Royce and Jade’s characters are phenomenally written. Royce first meets Jade, when she is brought into the family as a baby (a foster) and then adopted by them. As they grew up they always had a special connection, but when they grew to teens it became an entirely different type of love and connection between them. Royce’s love caused him to be alpha and protective. Jade might have been young but it was more than jealousy and infatuation.

“We fight a lot, but we love hard and when it comes to him and me, one cannot exist without the other. “

Their story is dark and tragically devastating. Parts of it hurt badly to read. I was broken down and torn apart. I hurt for these two characters who were inevitably meant for one another. Royce left her right on the cusp of them finally getting to be together, and it devastated her. What she endured after was the stuff nightmares are made of, but it showed us the strength and resilience of this beautifully crafted character. She was amazing. She was a warrior, perseverance personified. Complex and strong. I rooted and cheered for her to get her happy ending. Because if anyone deserved it, it was most certainly her.

Royce/Sicko shredded me when he left Jade. I didn’t understand it. But…I knew and trusted that Amo would reveal to us why and who was behind Royce leaving and hurting Jade. However , the chain of events that happened to our Jade after he left was shocking, and unpredictable. It left me breathless and awestruck. I hung on every syllable of this book. Dangling on the edge of my seat. It was the perfect blend of dark and devastating, delicious and deviant. It was heartbreaking but at the same time full of hope. Truly it was the best kind of story. Triumph over tragedy, and what I love the most about dark romance. It was the forbidden dark romance I was looking for and didn’t even know it. At its very deepest, and darkest core, Amo Jones tells us a tragically beautiful tale of true love so strong that it slays the nastiest of demons, overcomes the most horrific of obstacles and forgiveness that heals even the most shattered and broken.

Tijan slayed this book! Like she REALLY Slayed this book!!

I have loved this series from the very beginning. From the first book of this series to the very last word of Always Crew I have been enamored by the complexity of these characters.

Always Crew picked up where Crew Princess left off. That shocking spot that left us all breathless going WTF?!?!

Always Crew also starts by showing us our beloved Crew in a more grown up light because they are all off to college, well… most of them are. They are maturing. Things are changing for our Bren, Cross, Jordan and Zellman, they are changing.

Bren remains the most Bren-like when she finds herself struggling not to go back to being like the dark Bren she’s tried so hard to get away from, from being known as. When she is forced to face the past. Cross and the guys are right there doing everything they can as always to bring Bren back from the brink of that darkness.

This book is still full of all the action and suspense we’ve come to love and expect from our crew. So much happens and I’m gonna to be vague because I don’t want to give too much away so you can enjoy it like I did. It’s got the angst and the sex. But we also get a feel of Bren’s internal battles. She’s wondering just where she’s gonna fit in this new grown up world when her goals are not quite the same as the guys who are focused on school and the activities surrounding it. I love the way they find a way to make it work though.

I love this crew BIG, their commitment to each other, their little family dynamic. From the new to old characters that made appearances all of it added up to make this ending a perfect wrap up to an amazing series. It’s bittersweet for me. I hate to see it end. But I’m so happy with the way she bundled up what everyone’s future looks like. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, no matter where life takes them or how many miles might be between them. One thing will remain true now and forever and that’s Crew First, Always Crew!

You see me rolling… on the floor, like laughing out loud! This friggin book is funny y’all! Oakley and Amanda’s story was sweet and sassy and sarcastic and quick witted. This was such a fun book to devour, because I didn’t just read it, I straight up devoured it. As fast as possible. Right now in this crazy messed up chaos that’s life, THIS book was exactly what I needed. I was the perfect little time out. The Calgon “take me away bath” in the form of a book!

Amanda Matthews has relocated to the University of Texas to escape a past she’s not proud of and she just wants to put behind her. She’s determined to take an internship opportunity to help put her on the fast track to graduating early. She’s feisty and goal oriented, the only thing she has to do, clean up Oakley Davis’s image. But OMG!! What a flipping nightmare. He’s all over social media, and dang is he ever a hot mess express, emphasis on the HOT!! When Oakley starts flirting and she’s around him all the time, will she be able to resist his delicious body and that annoying yet adorable charm that drops panties all across campus? Will this be the new start Amanda was hoping it would be, or will parts of her find history repeating itself?

Oakley Davis is everything. No heart nor pair of panties is safe on campus. He is gorgeous, talented, and funny. But there is so much more to him than that. His character cracks me up so much. When he is forced to spend time with Amanda he really makes it annoyingly hilarious at first to try to get under her skin.

I love books where the big man on campus is brought to his knees by our heroine. I think we get that here and it’s so sweet and endearing. I never found his character to be the d-baggey popular guy. He did get around a lot and he was unapologetic in his behaviors but he was just so adorable, it was easy to forgive him. Lol

I don’t know how that happened. I guess because he wasn’t a mean character and he had reasons for being the way he was and they were quite heartbreaking as well. I loved these two together, they both had stuff to overcome and they were able to do that and heal together. It was perfect! 😍🙌🏻😍 I love CoraLee and I am Super excited by newcomer Carrie and can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the future.

I have always loved to read. In kindergarten, I was the weird kid sitting in the reading nook by myself instead of trying to get more snacks. I’m excited to be putting my own voice on the page and watching a story I helped create come to life. I still love to read, but I also really like snacks.

I grew up in Chicago but recently moved back to the Dallas area where I live with my husband and son.

I have my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I spent a year researching chimpanzees and gorillas while I was in Chicago and then I spent another two months on a chimpanzee sanctuary trying to convince headstrong chimps to cooperate. Pro tip – grapes are a pretty hot bargaining tool. They work wonders with my toddler too.

My Review

So I’m not gonna lie, Molly McAdams is one of those authors that has the ability to slice and dice my emotions with her amazingly poignant and heart wrenching books. My heart doesn’t stand a chance against her and her magical word wizardry. Pieces y’all, I fall to pieces. Then she comes in like a ninja surgeon and puts me back together again. Every.Single.Dang.Time.

Cayson Dixon, I mean could we possibly have a more sexy name for our hero?!? That’s a rhetorical question BTW. Because, ladies, HOLY HELL! Everything about this broody, broken man is sexy. He makes my heart melt, he makes my heart flutter, my heart breaks for him. He basically OWNS my heart. Yup, I’m claiming this misunderstood man.

He’s so much more than what people realize and I can wait for you all to read this book and fall in love with the complexity of this character. To understand the years of secrets and lies buried deep that made him the man he became.The man that’s so much more than the reputation that follows him back home after nine years away working.

Emberly Olsen knew Cayson most of her life leading up through her teenage years. He was her best friend Sawyers older brother and was also her biggest crust turned tormentor. The emotional scars she wears even as an adult from his relentless teasing come boiling to the surface when Cayson shows back up in town after nine years away wanting to make amends oh…and he also wants her.

I love that this book is about forgiveness and healing. It’s about finding support to help you overcome a tragedy from your past and about owning your crap and taking responsibility for the hurts you caused. But most of all it’s about the beauty of inevitable love. Because Love can conquer almost anything.

Her books never fail to stay with me long after I finish the last page. I have some (that shall remain nameless) I’m still feeling years later.

🔥🔥🔥🔥-There is nothing hotter than two people that try like hell to resist each other, then finally give in. Except maybe a big ol pan of biscuits and gravy, Nope Cayson and Emberly are hotter than biscuits and gravy! So this southern girl is saying that’s really Freakin hawt!! 🔥🔥

My Review

WOW, my friends! I did a super squeal of excitement when this hit my kindle. I knew from the blurb and the fact that it was written by an amazingly talented duo like A. Zavarelli and Natasha Knight, that we were in for greatness. I was not disappointed. This book is dark, raw, sinister and gritty. It will grab you from the very beginning with this phenomenal combination of unbelievably hot tension and edge of your seat suspense. Get ready to be simultaneously fanning yourself and frustrated.

Levka Antonov was both her Prince Charming and her Villian. He was gorgeous and god like with his power. He was as delicious as he was dangerous. He was feared! When he wanted something he got it, and he decided that he wanted Katerina to be his “Katya.” They hit it off and it was everything more than even he could have predicted! He knew she was hiding things but he had ways of getting to the bottom of it and he would find out exactly who and what she was hiding.

When something in his business goes down and Katerina disappears, Lev is both concerned and angry at her for disappearing. There are a lot of speculations and distrust surrounding her from his Family business associates, will he abide by the orders he’s given when her location is discovered after a few years? However, will an unexpected secret game changing curveball Katerina has been carting with her for three years, throw a monkey wrench in all of Lev’s plans? Just how exactly will Lev punish her?

Katerina Blake was a beautiful broken and poor young woman, but she’s hiding a troubled and scarred past beneath first glance. One no one could even imagine. She was such a strong and resilient character. I loved her so much. My heart broke for the little girl she’d been and what she endured as a child, but it fist pumped at the strong kick ass woman she’d become. Now, when she met Lev, it was a collision of hotness y’all. Good god!

Their chemistry was overwhelming. She was strong but he brought out a submissive side to her that she didn’t know existed, holy hell! 🔥 She would do anything he said. She fell hard and fast, understandably so. But when a devastating tragic event happens and he is to blame on the same day she finds out life changing news. She must do what she needs to protect more than just herself.

She could have cowered but she didn’t. She did what she had to. She is the kind of character I FLOVE, my friends! She goes through all the emotions and through such growth as a character and it makes for such an amazing read. You get to see her at her lowest then go to seeing her in her most protective and survival mode. She.is.just.fantastic! 🙌🏻😍🙌🏻
