I am crazy about this series. It’s fun, engaging, and has a super fun cast of loveable characters. Follow the shenanigans of this hilarious group of gorgeous sisters running a wedding planning business and dealing with the day to day drama in their own lives. Ms. Madison gives each sibling their own story touching on different troupes in different books, but putting her own special sauce on each one. I love how she gives just the right blend of steam, humor, sweet, angst, heart, frustration, and tears. I have felt the full range of emotions by the time I have finished the story. Check this book, actually this whole series out. FOUR, fills my heart with LOVE Stars! ✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️

My Review

Y’ALL OMG!! 🙀 Where has Sara Cate been all my life and why in the diddly dang  am I just now reading her?!🤷🏼‍♀️  Obviously this is something I plan to rectify ASAP. Not to worry. I have every intention of knocking her entire backlog out because I am absolutely NOT okay with the lingering feeling of FOMO if I don’t devour her whole dadgum lucious list. I will get on this really soon… well as soon as I get through beating my own fanny 👋🏻 for ignoring my shameless draws to her covers that I have been ogling for a minute. I mean HAVE YOU SEEN 👀 HER GORGEOUS COVERS? I have always noticed her covers and thought to myself “ I need to check her out.”

Okay, I’m gonna stop my depression over the fact that I hadn’t before now and focus on what’s really important. That I have jumped on the Sara Cate boat NOW and I am NOT getting off…err,  Well actually that’s not entirely true. 😏 IYKYK 🫠

But really with this one book she has absolutely solidified her place as a one-click author for me. And everything about Mercy sums up exactly why that is!! 

Oh help me Rhonda!🧨 LAWD UH MERCY,🧨 ‘ cuse me while I pant for Beau Grant. 🥵 Maggie and Beau’s story is an amazingly delicious reverse age gap/ best friend’s son/ domme, super steamy romance. 🔥 A journey about self discovery, personal growth and becoming secure in your own wants and needs, and finding your perfect person to discover all those with. Both had things they too had overcome but were tired of being defined by their pasts. I don’t think either could have possibly imagined the strength  they would find in being around each other. 

This book is overwhelmingly hot. I am absolutely a sucker for a good reverse age gap but Author Sara Cate kicked this up a notch by making her discover that underneath the phenomenally successful boss babe she was lurking a sleek and smexy Domme just waiting to be let loose on a willing submissive… But what happens when that waiting and willing sub turns out to be Beau Grant? The devastatingly handsome twenty-two year old son of her best friend and business partner, Emerson Grant.  Not gonna give anything away. JUST READ THIS BOOK!

Like I mentioned previously this was my first book by this author. It did touch on the other couples in the series but I feel like I am still going to go back and read the other books because I loved this author’s writing so much.  All of the four books in the series are in Kindle Unlimited so binge them, or at the very least…reverse age gaps fans go ahead and “ have MERCY”  </b>

My Review

OH MY WORD!  I love a good ‘ol  heart melting single dad romance. Especially if he happens to be the doting daddy of a little girl. 💕 Like for real. I’m legit a goner for a girl dad. 🥺  I’m sure it probably has to do with the fact that I was the oldest of three girls raised by a single dad, and a through and through Daddy’s girl until the day he died, so I was instantly drawn into everything about this story.

Ford Dalton, his adorable daughter Everly, and her amazingly wonderful new nanny, Sydney’s story is a different spin on the single dad/nanny trope. It delivers a fresh new engaging storyline, loveable and emotion evoking characters, picturesque settings, plenty of heart, heat and steamy goodness. Fans of single dad/nanny romance, forced proximity, age-gap, billionaire romance, or even boss/employee this will fit the bill for all of you. 

Ford Dalton is EVERYTHING!🥰 He is sexy, smart, and successful. He’s got a big heart and a big um… 🥵 He is a swoony, charming, dirty talking tall drink of water. He is an amazingly devoted single father who’s entire world is wrapped around his little girl. It has always just been the two of them, other than a little help with Everly from his mom and cousin Hannah. He’s truly a family man through and through and he really hasn’t felt like he was missing out on anything… Until he meets Sydney. Although it seems as though she just might be the one to finally change his mind on his hesitation to relationships. When he finds out that she is the top contender in the running for the nanny position for his daughter, Ford draws the line. Either they move forward and see where their relationship can go or they stop and Syd proceeds as Everly’s nanny. There really is only one choice, the most important person of all has to be the priority. 

Sydney is the BEST!😘 She is young and vibrant. Beautiful, patient and lots of fun to be around. She radiates warmth and love and has the biggest and most unselfish heart. She is young and still working out what she wants her path in life to look like. But at the same time she is able to be mature for her age but also simultaneously youthful and brings an energy that makes those around her happy. She naturally does sweet gestures and things for people to show how much she cares for them. You can’t help but love her character and almost forget she’s a character and not my friend IRL. 

The Single Dad is the third standalone in the Dalton Brothers series. You don’t have to have read the others but they are good books and have crossover characters from the previous books so If you have the time I would recommend checking them out. Ford has come along and pushed his two brothers right on out and became my favorite Dalton brother. FOR SURE. This entire book had me captivated. Between the heart melting daddy/daughter moments, the effervescent and unforgettable Everly filled ones, the charming moments, the steamy moments, the fun, flirty, and fantastically witty banter filled moments.

I just couldn’t get enough. I hung on every word. From the banging first night to the twist later on, all the way to the perfect HEA. It’s a YES 🤩 from Me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
