My Review

Holy Cheese Sticks On Pizza Friends!! I plowed through this sizzling sweet story! I loved it! The one-nighter turns to forever love. It’s one of my favorites. Now was it that simple, absolutely not! But that’s what made it so much fun to read about.

Porter and Doris”Dory” first meet when they both have a rare night off. Him from his seven-year-old daughter and Dory from working her multiple jobs. They immediately hit it off and decided to have a one night stand. Neither are looking for any kind of a relationship AT ALL and it’s not like they’re gonna see each other again, right? Of course they have a run-in, the best ever!! Talk about awkward. 😬

What I loved about both Porter and Dory is although both of their paths were a bit different, they both carried emotional scars from growing up. This did help to mold them into the people that they became as adults and they were both wonderful, loving and caring people. It’s just unfortunate that Porter was always looking over his shoulder, or next to him to see if those he cared about had run off and left him yet. It was also sad because anytime anything nice happened for Dory, she was always waiting for the other shoe to drop. 😭

This story is engaging and hot, it’s fast paced and funny. It’s serious and even had some moments that definitely pulled some tears out of me. I got to get some updates and funny times with all my favorites. Foster, Wren, Winston, Drew, and Sully. Sassy little Kyrie, Porter’s daughter stole quite a few of the scenes. Get ready to fall for Porter and Doris. 😍

⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐️- GAHHH! I can’t get enough of Teagan Hunter’s writing! That’s all!! It’s just amazing!

My Review

K. Webster, I bow down to you!! This book, y’all. This incredibly dark and dirty and twisted book! Now I have read MC romances, but I have not read a tale like Koyn and Hadley’s story. EVER!

It is crazy twisted and sick and unique and I was blown away by Koyn’s ability to worm his way into my heart. There was almost two sides to Koyn. There is the Koyn of the past, before he endured the worst possible experience anyone could ever go through and then the Koyn of today. The one that lives his life with one ultimate goal, to serve up revenge on the one(s) that took everything from him. I’m not even really a fan of the “call me daddy” kinda romance books, but I totally didn’t mind it this on AT ALL. This book was that amazing. No lie. 😍🔥😍

Hadley’s character invoked so many emotions in me. She was sassy and beautiful. Yet, she was broken and at the same time strong. She had been through unimaginable things. But she made it through and made it out. She got herself caught up in a rough and dangerous world by choice. Because it was preferable to her pampered pretty princess life with the devastatingly disgusting secrets kept behind closed doors. Doing her best to go as unnoticed as possible in the previous club won’t work for her after the events that led her to Koyn’s compound.

I don’t want to give too much away but the push and pull between her and Koyn, Holy GAH!! He’s drawn to her because she reminds him of his daughter. She views him as anything but a father. A Dirty Daddy, Yes! Delicious!! My heart melted and broke for him at the same time. I understand why he was the way he way towards Hadley, but then when he made a decision he did, it literally gutted me along with her.

His loyalty to his guys, his drive. It was hot. This man was broken and scarred, bit inside and out. He had a depth to him though. You could see glimpses of the man he used to be. Before he lost everything. His character was tortured and complex and I loved him.

The guys in Koyn’s club are some of the most sick and twisted, yet they are loyal and I’m drawn to them. I want all their stories.

I just know there is some special “old ladies” out there that will bring these rough yet sinfully hot, hog driving’ men to their knees! If you think you’ve read some nasty, just wait till you take a little trip to the slaughterhouse and see the Royal Bastards MC gang serve up a side of revenge in ways that only they can. It’s crazy insane. And I Floved Ever.Single.Second!

⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐️- I’m officially OBSESSED with all things RB MC . I went through all the emotions in this book. It was so full of action, suspense, angst, sex, hear, banter, blood, tears, live, loss, revenge, and redemption! I can’t wait for more with the rest of the club members stories! This book was raw and gritty and phenomenal. Grab it today!

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥-OMG! HOLY HOT HELL. For as much as Koyn might have tried to avoid it happening it was inevitable. He and Hadley and he were beyond all things imaginably hot! The were explosive and forbidden and just straight up Yummy! Sexy scenes were off the charts hot!

🌪Cliffhanger Warning- This has a HEA , but sets us up for the stories of other club members from other chapters from all over. I can’t wait! 😍

My Review

Sweet Baby Desus in a manger! Y’all better get ready, because this conclusion is crazy, fantastic! I’m still trying to wrap my head around everything that was thrown my way in this book.

Stolen Lies pics up and follows Talia, Kosta and the Demetriou crew right at a year after the major cliffhanger that we were left with a the ending of Hidden Truths. We finally find out what happened to Talia. The question is…What will Kosta do and say about information surrounding Talia’s disappearance when he comes face to face with the details? Who will be the recipient or recipients of his revenge? Will it be a new enemy or someone he once loved?

Talia was sweet, innocent, yet sassy in the first book. The Mafia Princess inside her shines in this book. We see a strength in her come out like never before. Sometimes you can find strength in the smallest of packages and that’s what happened here. She found hers. It got her through, gave her purpose and focus, and patience. She knew she needed to plan to escape perfectly to be able to get out of the situation she was in at the beginning of the book.

I loved the Talia we got to see in this book. She was so amazing. She was even more loving and nurturing than in the first book. BUT she was also tough as nails and she had to make some life changing, split second decisions and she did them without hesitation. I think she grew into who she was destined to be in this book.

Kostas was suffocating himself in so much grief in the beginning missing Talia. That was hard to read. He was pining and letting himself go. I was glad for the realization of just how much he loved her to hit him, but hated it had to happen for him in that way. Now, in this book we get to see glimpses of a much softer side to Kostas. The was he is with Talia, made my heart-a- flutter. Kostas is definitely a character that makes heart rates go up and panties drop. There is something to be said for a man that can touch a woman tenderly with a hand that also was used to end someone’s life. So. Freakin.Hot!

I don’t want to give anything about this book away. So let me say, this story is a web weaved slap full of lies, secrets, scandal, and sex. It’s about murder, kidnapping, revenge and pure hatred. It’s full of so many suspense-filled moments of pure adrenaline rushing, heart-stopping, nail biting, hubby bring me some wine before I throw my kindle, moments. IT IS OFF THE FREAKIN CHARTS THAT GOOD!!

Talk about clawing, kicking, scratching, dragging your way through a bullet blazing war zone, just to then walk two miles across hot coals get home to find your home taken out by tsunami. Yeah, it felt like this for this poor couple to get to their well earned HEA! But it wait fast paced so the wait cane quickly!

My Review

So B.B. had totally it set up in the other books where I was absolutely, unequivocally NOT a Barbette ”Bee” fan. I would go as far as to say I despised her character. I didn’t like her friendship with Ever, I didn’t trust her, just didn’t care for her. I started opening up to her a little in TMATF, but still. Now… I absolutely love, like fist pumps in the air rooting for her, she’s my new BFF. I’m a “Bee-liever”!

Gah!! Jamie, oh Jamie! His character has been one of my tops from day one. There is something about him. His playful personality, that don’t GAF attitude he puts off, when really he’s one of the most caring people out there. He’s giving off this players vibe and he’s borderline cruel to Bee, but really he’s just protective of his heart and sweet gooey center, afraid he will be exposed to hurt and risk heartbreak again if he lets his guard down.

“You kiss me with your cruel words and caress me with your pain.”

Told in alternating POV’s we go back and forth between their senior year of high school and their pre-teen years. We get in-depth looks into the what let Jamie and Bee to be the characters they are today.

“It’s not your hate that kills me but the love I see shining through.”

It also gives us better understanding why Jamie feels the way he does, and we understand what it was like for Bette growing up and what led to some of the decisions that she and Ever made and why Four would have went along with them. We get to see the story of Jamie and Bee childhood friends falling in love and the hurts, secrets, misunderstandings and devastation that come after. BEE AND JAMIE ARE EVERYTHING!

While I’m not going to give away any of the details of this book because #SpoilersSuck. I will say I’m pretty sure this one might be my favorite of all. Because…Jamie! Tattoos, piercings, attitude and heart. I mean hot dang, y’all! And Bee, she’s beautiful and sassy and sweet. She’s loving and as it turns out unselfish. This is one of my most favorite series. Excerpt: “Well, isn’t this the most delicious surprise.” My head confirmed what my eyes were showing me, but my stubborn heart still refused to believe. Jamie was back from Ireland? Why hadn’t Ever told me? Neither of those answers seemed to matter as much as why Jamie was back.

The short sleeves of the button up he wore were rolled and bunched at the shoulders, displaying the muscles he’d grown since I’d last seen him four years ago. The white cotton only pronounced his tanned skin. He’d left the buttons undone, allowing anyone who laid eyes on him to see his hard chest and defined abs…and the many tattoos that covered them. Most of them were angry and aggressive, almost scary as if he were showing off his demons for anyone to see. Recalling my sweet Jamie from long ago, and what happened the last time I’d seen him, I knew I was responsible for every one of them. Gone was the gentle boy next door with a full mop of hair, a lanky body, and an easy smile. This boy standing before me was darker, edgier…more tragic to my lonely, fragile heart. Was that yearning burning in the pit of my stomach or fear of the unknown? Because I didn’t know this Jamie, and judging by the wicked gleam in his eyes as he flashed that mocking grin, I didn’t want to know. “What the hell are you doing back here?” “Is that any way to greet your first love? I got to say”—his gaze slowly traced every dip and curve of my body—“I love how well you’ve grown up, Bette.” “First love?” I scoffed, even though it felt like he’d stolen my breath. “You were hardly that.” “Then what was I?” he challenged, backing me against the opposite wall. “I’m breathless to hear more of your lies.”

“You were nothing.” He flashed me that sad, beautiful smile I hadn’t realized I’d missed so much. I stood perfectly still as his wolfish gaze ate me up. As close as he stood now, he wouldn’t miss a single fucking flaw. There were many, but no one dared looked close enough to see. I might as well have been Medusa. As he ran his gaze over me, I took the time to study him as well, noting the silver bar piercing his right brow and the small diamond in his right nostril. I could have sworn I’d even glimpse a flash of metal piercing his nipples. Jamie had taken all that sinful deliciousness he naturally possessed and multiplied it by ten thousand. As if the world didn’t already have enough injustices. “You’re so beautiful. Did it hurt?” He kept his gaze on me as he turned his head and blew out smoke. “Did what hurt?” I could feel the heat from Jamie’s cigarette when he defiantly brushed his thumb across my bottom lip. To Jamie’s knowledge, I belonged to his cousin now, but he clearly didn’t give a damn. “When you fell from heaven, Satan.” I slapped his hand away while telling myself to get a grip. Jamie might have surprised me, but he was nothing I couldn’t handle. “Get lost, Jameson.” Tapping the end of his cigarette, he sprinkled ash onto my designer blouse. A piece of the flame had fallen, burning through the sheer material, scorching my skin. Before now, I’d never thought Jamie capable of hurting me. The truth was now so blatantly blazed into our history that it could never be unwritten. Without warning, he pressed closer until I could see nothing but the angry blackness of his eyes. “I’m afraid I’m not going anywhere. By the time I’m done with you, Barbette Montgomery, you’ll be crawling back to me… but I doubt I’ll want my cousin’s sloppy thirds.”

“I wouldn’t hold your breath.” I wasted little time pushing him away. Tragically, the moment my hand connected with his warm skin, the electricity threatening to make my broken heart beat again became too obvious to ignore. I tried to run from it, but some inexplicable need to seal our fate had me spinning on my heel to face him again. “Better yet, Jameson, do us both the favor, won’t you?”

My Review

Insolent is a part of the Sinister Fairy Tales collection and a take on Brave. It is the story of Moira and Sol. Moira grew up in a wealthy family, the only girl with horribly cruel triplet brothers. She was abused, neglected and locked away by her family. Set to be arranged to marry a man chosen by her deplorable mother.

Then an angel or a devil intervenes and saves her from the evil wretches of her family, only to take her as his own prisoner. Moira finds herself torn between her feelings for her captor. Her only comfort is both a gift and skill she possesses with her bow and arrows. She finds herself using her gift to get revenge in ways she had only dreamed. Will Sol be the cause of her demise or is he her savior?

This book has plenty of secrets and lies. It’s full of blood and gore and angst. While Brave is not a Fairy Tale I’m all that familiar with, and it isn’t my favorite of the sinister collection so far, this was a pretty good re-telling. For me it probably has more to do with the fairy tale itself (since I have never seen or read the original)and not the writer. The writing was great. The details were plentiful and described perfectly as to capture the reader’s attention, the story flowed quickly and I read the book in just a few hours.

I liked Moira’s character and though my heart was broken for her and her mistreatments, she was actually a tough cookie. Her skills with the bow and arrow were unmatched and she ultimately was able to get her own redemption. GO Moira!!

Now, Sol. I’m not sure I was prepared for that level of deception. From him and towards him. The rug was definitely pulled out from under me. But I loved his character, he was definitely the bad guy gone good! Their love story was dark and consumed by desperation and loneliness, but it was tragically beautiful. I’m glad Moira found Sol.
