My Review

What an amazingly, unputdownable way to end the Hood River Hoodlums series. 🤩Each book in this series was unique and each couple tragically beautiful in their own way. This series is binge-worthy. You can’t help but to fall deeply in love with each character, their journey and their back story. I am super excited about the note to readers in the back of Hood River Zero. 🙌🏻

Terrance and Penny captured my heart🥰 a long time ago. Both of these characters have deep issues they are dealing with, but they are able to recognize they are each other’s perfect counterpart😍. They always just seem to know exactly what the other one needs. GAH! It’s precious and sweet and emotional. Penny was the one who brought Terrance out of the pit of despair he was in. Boy did she ever. Lol 

She did it in that blunt, sharp witted tongue lashing way that only the “Mean-Ass Hoodlum” 😈 could bestow upon you. It was the way he needed to hear it too. 

Penny struggles with issues of her own and has for years. When Terrance shows interest in wanting her to be his girl how will she respond? She knew she wasn’t normal inside and figured no one would ever really want her if they could see inside her head. Terrance immediately picked up her struggles and always anticipates her needs almost before she even does. 

“Terrence is normal. Perfect, even with his uneven head, drooping eye, and plentiful scars.And I’m the definition of imperfect. Broken and flawed and barely functioning.”

He is so drawn to her and is almost surprised when she went from Hollis’ little sister to his everything. But since he can’t get her out of his head then nothing will stop him from making her his. Making sure she knows she is safe, loved and cared for. He’s just this big teddy bear with a heart of gold, that can kick you fanny if you mess with what’s his. So.Freakin.Hot! 🔥

This book, like the others, is full of secrets, lies and suspense. All of our favorite Hoodlums must come together to help their own. Several things happen in this book that need some Hoodlum smackdown, and no one brings a beat down like a Hoodlum set out to protect the ones they love. This entire series is a much read.

My Review

Holy Cow you guys! Aggro was PHENOMENAL! Like top reads of 2020, phenomenal! I went into this book expecting something totally different than what I got, but I wasn’t disappointed by this fact in.any.way. This book is so powerful it will grab a hold of you and embed itself so deeply into your mind, heart and soul it will consume you until you have devoured every single word. 

Aggro is the story of Breeze, Chase and Kai, three teens bound by grief over the death of Violet. Violet was Breeze’s best friend, twin sister to Chases and in a toxic relationship with Kai. This is a story of how the three of them deal with this tragic loss, as not only individuals but together. My heart felt like it was in a vice over and over. Just the amazing writing of CLJ and CG was so vivid and with such clear attention to detail I had to keep reminding myself ( you are not there, you don’t really know these people Irl) because I was a mess y’all.😭 Seriously, hot mess express! 😭😭

They set out on a quest desperate for answers. Three teens plagued by guilt, hurt, anger, and  survivor’s guilt. They are all working to put the pieces together to find out what happened the night of Violet’s violent death and the secrets she had been keeping from everyone that led up to her death. But will they be able to handle the truth when they get it? 

Now, if you are like me, a bit of a cover ho, you assume by the amazing cover that we are getting a story from a Hero’s POV. However that isn’t how this goes down at all. It is even better. This amazing story takes place in a picturesque beach island town. We get POV’s from Breeze, Chase and Kai and I love this so much because each one is struggling in a different way to come to terms with what has happened. To have the story told in their voice as they are experiencing the different emotions is so emotional and powerful, it just takes the story to another level of awesome, and I’m so happy the authors did it this way. These three and their constant struggle with wondering who could have committed this crime and maybe at times even wonder about each other. 

What I love is that no matter how many times you think you might have figured what’s going on or what’s gonna happen next CoraLee and Carrie pull the rug right out from under you. 

I loved all of these characters. Breeze was the sweet wallflower that was always the silent shadow behind her outgoing best friend, Violet. She assumed she was never seen but that is far from the truth. For the longest time she had a crush on Chase but sister code prevented her from ever making a move. 

Chase was hot, he was also a getaround girl hopper. He loved his sister and he loved Breeze. It seemed like he loved her like a sister but who knows maybe it could have been more at one time? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Then you have Kai, the one they call an Aggro, “which was an aggressive surfer, taking chances most of us wouldn’t.” He was gorgeous and tattooed, but when he was with Violet they were all wrong for each other. They were the very definition of toxicity. But when he looked at Breeze. Well that was a different story. 

I won’t say anymore as not to give spoilers, but you NEED this book in your life like you need AIR. It will draw you in like a rip tide and pull you under in its clutches and twist you, turn you about, take your breath, scare you, and then finally spin you backout the other side. You will never be the same, you will remember the feeling of it always. 

I can’t possibly recommend this book enough. If I could custom order a book to be written for me with all the things I want in it, this would be what was delivered to me, but then when I opened the box and started reading my book there would be unexpected bonus material in it. That’s how fantastically, phenomenally, unforgettably amazing this book is!! CoraLee June and Carrie Gray slayed this book!!

You get murder, mystery, suspense, sexy, angsty goodness. But you also get the swoony, sweet, and forgiveness. You get a book where enemies become allies. I was on the edge of my seat and I was here for it all! I will definitely re-read this book. Because honestly I’m not ready to let these characters go. That epilogue y’all. I’m pretty sure my jaw is still ON.THE.FLOOR!😱

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥- GAH! The love scenes were smokin hot and sensual. They weren’t rushed, they were believable and felt authentic. So flippin ‘HAWT!! 🔥🔥

🌪Cliffhanger Warning- I loved the ending so much. I will say I got the SHOCK of my life at the end. I was gobsmacked. I was fantastic!!!!

Prologue – Somewhere in Chicago… The chains chafed my wrists, making me wish I were still in my cage. Though it lacked privacy, the cage at least had a bed, and in there I wasn’t restrained with my arms above my head. But I was in Domenico’s domain. The small bedroom-like area was created from a previous office. There was a lamp and a mattress with a blanket, but those were the only creature comforts. The rest of the room retained both the look and smell of the rest of the decaying structure. With no way to tell time, I wasn’t sure how long I’d been there. All I knew was that I was tired. Being held against my will caused spikes in my adrenaline, and the subsequent crashes left me drained. The small panic attacks had lessened over the past few weeks, but there was an undercurrent of strife, and I feared what would happen if things got out of control. I stared at the bed, wishing I were on it. All that did was cause the memories of him inside me to come slamming down. The absolute owning of my body by him and him alone. The way he made me come undone. Feelings that I shouldn’t have with his touch, but I did. Feelings I drowned in as he consumed me. I am Domenico’s…for now. And that was the thought that always sent questions spiraling out of control and a spike of fear to run through me. I was a caged bird. A pet awaiting a sentence bound to be more grim than any fairy-tale horror.

My Review

Abducted is yet another Ah-ma-zing addition to the Sinister Fairytales collection. This Beauty and the Beast re-telling is the most perfect combination of a really dark and twisted falling for her captor/mafia romance. It was so much more than I was expecting. 

It’s clear from the blurb and the title alone you are dealing with a woman who has been abducted. So right away you’d think that it’s a clear case of Stockholm Syndrome, right? However with Belle/Arabella and Domenico it’s so much more than that. They have this instant insane connection. He’s mean, nasty and does things that should most definitely be unforgivable to her. There’s a method to his madness though. The more that was uncovered about him the harder I fell for him. 

Arabella spent years running away from people like Domenico. She feels things she shouldn’t, and knows deep down he doesn’t know the truth about her. She hasn’t been able to trust anyone in a long time or she can’t trust anything Domenico says to her , especially after the things he’s done to her, or so she thought. I just love her character. My heart broke for her past, but holy moly she was booty kickin chick to the max! When things go off the rails what will happen when she has no choice but to trust him to keep her safe? 

Domenico wanted so hard for her to put her trust in him and he knew their relationship was based on more than just lust. He laid claim to her and everyone knew it.  I’m obsessed with this character y’all! He didn’t care. He was loyal to those loyal to him and he is all kinds of alpha and delicious! He wanted what he wanted and he took it. When he takes a chance and risks everything to save her will she finally accept that she belongs to him once and for all? 

While this is my first ever book by K. I Lynn I can guarantee it will not be my last. She tossed in lots of heartbreaking elements and unexpected moments that hit me right in my feelings and I couldn’t put this book down! It.Was.Fantastic!

It was phenomenal!!  It was all kinds of dark, dirty and deceptive. I didn’t see it coming. It was full of angst and suspense that kept me engaged. I devoured it super fast. I did not want to put this book down!

My Review

OH-MY-HOLY-HADES!! Y’all! My heart, My head. I’m all over the flippin place. This conclusion was EVERYTHING!  S.M.Soto is a master craftsman when it comes to serving up emotional literary beatings. This conclusion was all that I was hoping for, yet I was blindsided so many times over with twists and turns. I couldn’t have seen them coming with binoculars, Y’all! Everything about Baz and Mackenzie’s love story was Astonishing!

Mackenzie is back and more ready than ever to get to the bottom of the truth. But just how far is she willing to go. When she starts to unfold more and more secrets, She doesn’t know who to trust. Soto stuffed into this phenomenal book. It was unpredictable and unexpected from chapter to chapter and I loved every second. Every jaw dropping, heart stopping, wanna throw my kindle across the room moment! 

This is a MUST READ DUET!

My heart, which had finally returned to its regular beat, felt as though it was cracking in my chest as I listened to what Frank said. Of course, that was why they were here.
“I told you I wasn’t a virgin,” Frank Jr. said in a low voice.
Frank chuckled. “That may be, but any one of these ladies will make sure you’re well taken care of. You might learn some things. It’s your birthday, enjoy it.”
Frank Jr. replied, his voice still low, “Whores aren’t my thing.”
“These are the finest ones around, son. You’ll be in safe hands. Take your pick, and then I can pick mine.”
“And if I don’t?” Frank Jr. asked.
“Then you’ll piss me off,” Frank stated, giving Frank Jr. a stern look.
“I can assure you,” Madam cut in, “all of my girls are clean and well trained. They aren’t like high school girls.” She chuckled.
Frank Jr. looked at his father another moment and then stepped toward the line of girls. He still hadn’t taken a sip of the vodka in his hand, and that made me nervous. I wasn’t sure what Madam would do to me if Frank Jr. asked for something else. Was Grey Goose not a good brand?
Just like Madam had done not ten minutes prior, Frank Jr. walked by each girl, looking them up and down from their heads to their feet and back up. When he got to the end, I expected him to walk back down the line because he hadn’t made a decision yet. Instead, he stopped in front of me, looking back at Frank and Madam. “I choose her,” he said.
My eyes widened as Madam said in a raised voice, “Zell isn’t one of the girls.”
“She’s not?” Frank Jr. questioned and turned his head to look at me.
I lowered my gaze while I waited for Madam to respond. I expected her to say something about me being her daughter, and therefore, off-limits. Instead, she said, “She’s never been with a man before. She wouldn’t know what to do. Pick one of the others. They will show you a good time.”
My face got hot again, and I was certain I looked like a tomato. I couldn’t believe that Madam had told Frank Jr. I was a virgin. I’d read about a virgin once. She met a guy with a helicopter and had weird sex with him. She seemed to like it, but that didn’t mean I was ready for this handsome boy to know I was a virgin.
“Is that true?” Frank Jr. asked as he looked into my eyes. “Are you a virgin?” I nodded, not able to speak. He turned back to Madam and his father. “Then, yes, I want her.”
“She’s not even groomed,” Madam stated to Frank.
“Son, why don’t you pick someone else?”
“With all due respect, Father, you brought me here to, what was it? Become a man? Being a man is choosing who I want to sleep with, and I choose …” He paused for a moment. “Zell.”
The tray I was still holding fell from my grasp and clattered onto the floor. Madam’s gaze snapped to me, and my eyes widened before I quickly bent to pick it up. My heart was beating so fast in my chest that I was certain Frank Jr. could hear it. I kept my gaze on the floor, not able to look at anyone. I couldn’t believe this was happening.

My Review

Lock is a fairly fast paced darker and sinister re-telling of the original Rapunzel by Brothers Grimm.  It is the story of Zell and Frankie. Zell, hardly a princess, but a beautiful girl whose tower is a high rise balcony overlooking New York City. Our prince was more a Mafia prince. Heir to the mafia throne, being groomed to take over the family business. Full of suspense, twists and turns. It will keep you guessing until the very end as to if you will get the outcome you are hoping for. Buckle up baby, it’s gonna be an engaging ride!!  

In this exciting tale you read the story of Zell, who caught the eye of Frankie on his eighteenth birthday when his father brought him to the penthouse to introduce him to parts of the family business he hadn’t known about up until that point. When given his choice of companions for the evening he sets his sights on the beautiful and innocent Zell. 

While spending time with her secrets are uncovered and plans are made. In order to rescue Zell, Frankie will have to go head to head with his father and deceive everyone he’s ever known. Will Frankie be able to save his princess Zell or will his father and the evil Saffron keep her locked in her tower?! 

Zell is innocent and beautiful. She has been locked in this penthouse her entire life. It’s all she’s ever known. Although her mother is cruel,she has formed a bond with the other girls that live there. 

When Frankie and his father show up she starts to question everything she’s ever known. When Frankie promises to come back and rescue her from her tall tower, is he telling the truth or is he as untrustworthy as his father and everyone else in this deviant world? He has shown her respect and care so far, but when secrets are revealed and her world comes crashing around her, will Frankie be her Prince who rescues her or a villain just like his father? 

This Sinister Fairytales Collections series is the best, people. With that said, I have definitely liked some of the re-telling more than others, and this was one of them. This was a take I wasn’t quite expecting but I liked where she went with it, and I’m glad that we are going to get some more from this world in a future book. This book was the perfect length and it kept me engaged and entertained. It had suspense, mystery, good character development. All in all I was a happy girl so I flew right through it.

⭐️⭐️⭐⭐️- Overall this was a good read! Lock was another great addition to the Sinister Fairytales Collection. I loved Frankie and Zell as well as Quinn, Jackie and  Erin. I’m so glad we are getting Erin and Richardo’s story in Deliverance.

🔥🔥- There was some chemistry between the main characters, but due to their ages and the subject matter, it really didn’t allow for much sensual contact! There was one scene, but it wasn’t what I would call a super hot scene but any means. I don’t want to give spoilers. Their kisses were chemistry filled. So there was that. But remember these characters are 18 and this deals with some heavy subject matter. So this was appropriate for this book! 

🌪Cliffhanger Warning- HEA. No cliffy!! Our mains did get a perfect HEA 😍 We will also be getting another book from secondary characters you met in this world!

My Review

WOW, my friends! I did a super squeal of excitement when this hit my kindle. I knew from the blurb and the fact that it was written by an amazingly talented duo like A. Zavarelli and Natasha Knight, that we were in for greatness. I was not disappointed. This book is dark, raw, sinister and gritty. It will grab you from the very beginning with this phenomenal combination of unbelievably hot tension and edge of your seat suspense. Get ready to be simultaneously fanning yourself and frustrated. 

Levka Antonov was both her Prince Charming and her Villian. He was gorgeous and god like with his power. He was as delicious as he was dangerous. He was feared! When he wanted something he got it, and he decided that he wanted Katerina to be his “Katya.” They hit it off and it was everything more than even he could have predicted! He knew she was hiding things but he had ways of getting to the bottom of it and he would find out exactly who and what she was hiding.

When something in his business goes down and Katerina disappears, Lev is both concerned and angry at her for disappearing. There are a lot of speculations and distrust surrounding her from his Family business associates, will he abide by the orders he’s given when her location is discovered after a few years? Katerina Blake was a beautiful broken and poor young woman,  but she’s hiding a troubled and scarred past beneath first glance. One no one could even imagine. She was such a strong and resilient character. I loved her so much. My heart broke for the little girl she’d been and what she endured as a child, but it fist pumped at the strong kick ass woman she’d become. Now, when she met Lev, it was a collision of hotness y’all. Good god!

Their chemistry was overwhelming. She was strong but he brought out a submissive side to her that she didn’t know existed, holy hell! 🔥 She would do anything he said. She fell hard and fast, understandably so. But when a devastating tragic event happens and he is to blame on the same day she finds out life changing news. She must do what she needs to protect more than just herself.

She could have cowered but she didn’t. She did what she had to. She is the kind of character I FLOVE, my friends! She goes through all the emotions and through such growth as a character and it makes for such an amazing read. You get to see her at her lowest then go to seeing her in her most protective and survival mode. She.is.just.fantastic! 🙌🏻😍🙌🏻

My Review

I seriously love everything Georgia Cates writes. I wasn’t quite sure exactly how I would connect with this book considering it was set around the same time I was born, but it was wonderful. 

Luca and Emilia were betrothed from the time they were children. Both the eldest children from powerful Mafia families it was a union which would happen whether they wanted it to or not.

Emilia is beautiful and sassy and just enough of a rebel to fight for what she really wants in her life.

She doesn’t want to be controlled or told who to marry when it’s not for love. She is going to fight Luca every step of the way. 

But is there really a way out? Not  when her life is already mapped out for her. When something devastatingly catastrophic happens what will her plan of action be? Will she step in and fulfill the role she was always meant to fulfill? By taking her rightful place as the Mafia Queen. Then she can serve in the revenge she desires! 

Luca doesn’t take kindly to someone trying to take what’s his, and he sure isn’t going to share. He can’t let people get away with those things and must put them in their places. He’s mean and borderline cruel, but you can also make out the hint of the good guy beneath that exterior. 

He loves his family.  He is gorgeous and cruel and rules with an iron fist. But he looks at her and she can almost make him melt at times. Only she can spark emotions of guilt in this ruthless man. He will make Emilia his wife, just like was promised and she will give him a son.  Or else! I absolutely love books where an author can turn the unredeemable into the lovable! 😍

I loved the progression of their relationship. This wasn’t overnight, but a gradual. The change from where she started to her loyalty to him at the end was GAH! Everything! I love the interaction between his family and her. 

This was definitely a hate to love transformation and it was fabulous to read. For a far dark mafia read I want to reassure people this doesn’t get descriptively scary like some can. So it really sticks more with Luca and Emilia and their road to love.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐- So you will start this book absolutely hating Luca but by the ending feel completely different about him and his family. I loved Emilia from the first page. She’s so strong and beautiful! 

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥- Warning- The first encounter although consensual is quite brutal. But as their relationship changes their encounters grow hotter and sweeter and just amazingly sensual to read! 

🌪Cliffhanger Warning-!!You begin to wonder if it will ever happen, but you do in fact get a HEA. 😍

🔫 Trigger Warning-This is a Mafia romance therefore there are things that happen that are indicative of the mafia lifestyle and the violence, cruelty and drug usage that surrounds that lifestyle. Harper

“I’ve missed you, you know? More than you can imagine.”

“Can’t imagine it at all,” he says, picking through a book he’s not reading.

“Can I help you two?” One of the store sales associates asks, and I shake my head and smile. When she takes her leave, I look over to Lance who stands fuming on the other side of a table filled with loose items. We’re in a mismatch shop full of mostly cheap junk, and I can’t imagine him finding anything for his mother here.

“Lance, I have missed you. Horribly.”

“Could have fooled me.”

I can only take so much. Irritated, I lift a designer coffee mug from the table.

“You like this for your mom?”

“No.”

“How about this?”

“Nope.” He’s not even looking at what’s in my hands.

“You sure? It’s a hide purse. Cute for a rancher’s wife, don’t you think?” This gets his attention, and stormy eyes lift to mine.

“Would you buy that for you?”

I look it over and shake my head. “Not really my style.”

“Bet it’s not.”

I can feel my ears reddening. Fuming, I eye a box on the shelf, snatch it and shove it into his chest. “How about this giant fucking purple dildo and matching anal plug!? Think mom will like that?”

He looks up completely unaffected, “Nope.”

“I don’t think we’re in the right place,” Tossing the box down, I stalk out of the cluttered shop and into the department store next to it. He’s hot on my heels.

“Got that fucking right.”

I turn back to see he’s spoiling for a fight and release a stressed breath. Fighting with him is the last thing I want to do. “Look, lets, just…” I search around and pull a sweater from the closest rack. “How about this? Simple, elegant.”

“You think Mom’s simple, huh? I’ll give her your regards.”

“That’s it.” I hook the sweater back on to the rack and close the space between us, forcing his eyes to mine. “God, you’re still a brute, aren’t you? You haven’t changed a bit. Still pig-headed as hell.”

“Pig-headed?” He opens his mouth in mock shock and covers his chest with his hand. “How dare you.”

I’m in between fight or flight, but I’ve been dodging this long enough. My heart can’t take more confrontation. I missed him too much. His eyes flare with satisfaction at my irritation. “Misery loves company, right, Lance?”

“Never said I was miserable.”

“You don’t have to. Did you come to New York just to torture me?”

“Maybe.”

“Rub it in on what I’m missing out on?”

A voice sounds from next to us. “Is there something I can help you find today?”

We both turn to the woman with lasers in our eyes, and she swallows. I clear my throat. “We’re fine. Thank you.”

Lance winks at the woman, his eyes scanning her form. “Maybe you can help me?”

“You son of a bitch,” I hiss, before walking away from the table. His voice rings out next to me as I rip through a rack of scarves.

“Good to know you care, Priss, gotta admit, it’s surprising.”

I reel on him. “Don’t you dare! Leaving you was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I had to make a clean break. I had just lost everyone that mattered to me. I was losing my mind.”

“I got pissed for one day, and you went off the grid.”

“And you let me go because you knew no matter how much we wanted it to work, it couldn’t. You have no idea what I went through!”

“What you went through? Do you know I spent six months ranting to an Uber driver named Dave because everyone on my team hated me when the truth came out?” He stomps after me as I pull sweater after sweater off the rack. “Troy jumped ship after he got drafted. I had no one but Tony and those fights.”

I turn to him with twenty sweaters in my arms. “Jenner? When did y’all get so tight?”

“When shit got tough, and my fucking girlfriend bailed!” He glares down at me, his breaths coming out fast.

“Guys, we’re going to need you to take this outside.” A woman whom I assume is the store manager approaches us cautiously.

I look around the store and see all eyes are on us, especially the women sizing him up. “He’s available ladies,” I snap, laying the sweaters on a nearby table, “I’m willing to bet he comes really cheap.” He’s on my heels as I push through the glass of the department store.

“Oh, was I supposed to wait for you? Must have missed that memo. That’s it, you must want a saint. That’s why you didn’t stay.”

“I was twenty years old and alienated from a place I didn’t want to be anyway.”

“Good to know.”

“That’s not the way I meant it. And you know damn well until you, I was only there to appease my Dad, who I barely speak to now.”

“I’m sorry about that, I am, but that’s on him. And what in the hell are you talking about ‘alienated’?”

“Forget it.” I pull on my gloves as heavy snow starts to come down. “I think we’ve concluded our tour for today.”

He glances around the sidewalk. “Well, no need to show me more, I hate this fucking place!”

“And why is that? Not enough free-range chickens?!”

His eyes flare. “You digging on the ranch now, Priss? I saw a fucking rat the size of a cat on my run this morning!”

“Probably has better manners than you, shit head.”

“Pulling out the big guns now, huh? There’s that backbone. I was wondering where it went.”

“Go home, Lance, you hate it here. And you obviously hate me.”

“Just the opposite. It’s impossible, and believe me, I’m trying!”

“Well, I hope you succeed! Thanks for stopping by, Mary Poppins. Best Christmas ever! Make sure to bulldoze the nativity scene on your way out!”

“Fuck this.” He throws his hands up and eyes me warily before turning and walking away.

“Merry Christmas to you, too!”

She pens messy, sexy, angst-filled contemporary romance, as well as romantic comedy and erotic suspense. Kate’s title, Drive, was named one of the best romances of 2017 by The New York Daily News and Huffington Post. Drive was also a finalist in the Goodreads Choice awards for best contemporary romance of 2017. Her works have been featured in USA TODAY, BuzzFeed, and translated in five languages.

Kate is a lover of all things ’80s and ’90s, especially John Hughes films and rap. She dabbles a little in photography, can knit a simple stitch scarf for necessity, and on occasion, does very well at whiskey.

My Review

Are you Puckin’ kidding me!! I knew before I even cracked the first page I was gonna love this book. I mean HELLO!  It’s my BTU crew baby! 😍 Hot Hockey players, coven conversations. This entire cast of loyal and amazing friends, really they’re more like actually extended some non-blood family. The bonds between these BFF’s and BFFL’s are not only hilarious and crazy,  but sweet and protective and just absolutely perfect!  

When you read a love story from one of the BTU crew just know your in for a wild smash up of what feels like a little bit of the best parts of national lampoons anything, the jersey shore, the amazing race, and maybe a bit of  the bachelor (cause their dates be bomb y’all.) 

IT’S EVERYTHING Y’ALL

Jase and Melody’s story was all I could have hoped for and more. It was sweet and yummy. It gave me goosies. But boy oh boy  did it make me fan myself too.🔥 It gave me some drama and some angsty feels. I just predicted we were heading a certain way about ⅔ in and I was worried. (I wasn’t wrong) in my guess. I was just concerned about how this all would play out. 

I mean  I have loved Jase since Power Play. JD’s twin is a spectacular species to gander at ladies,  but he’s also a total sweetheart. He loves his family, his friends and he’s so talented on the ice it’s unreal. 

BTW I loved his wooing ways! (Won’t say more but gah!! 😍)

Melody Brighly was a Star. She lit up a room and Jase noticed her right away. Now her upbringing in comparison to Jase’s was polar opposites, but I love how she fell as hard for his family as she did for him. I know the secrets she’d been keeping were weighing on her. Jase worked hard to break down her resistance and they were perfect together. Like mashed taters and gravy. 

When the secrets started unfolding, I was as devastated as all the characters were. I cried y’all! These two were precious! I needed them to make it, and the thought of something happening to de-rail that is terrifying. I love how with each chapter we see our H and h both unselfishly sacrifice things for the other out of love. I was on the edge of my seat, tears in my eyes, waiting, praying, crossing toes, eyes and fingers. Whatever was necessary in hopes for my babies to work it out!! In tru Alley fashion,(*pause while I drink wine straight from bottle*) she made us sweat it for a minute before bringing us all back together again!!

It was worth it. I would do it to myself all over again! On purpose!! 

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐⭐- BTU crew is in the house bae-bay!! So this was ah-may-zing!! I flew through because I just couldn’t help myself. These are my people. 😍🔥😍
