Trust me when I tell you Fame is a story like no other. Jensen and Mia are two imperfect humans who just happen to be perfect for each other. Bringing you the best by giving you a little taste of everything, this sinful and sexy romance is slap full of secrets, lies and mystery. Not skimping on the angst, steam, banter, tension, and a good āol swoony and southern, Georgia bred country boy to come in and make everything all better (this Georgia girl might be biased but thereās nothing hotter than a GA boy) I promise this book has something for every reader. Mia is really a special character. She is one of the most unselfish of heroines I have ever had the pleasure of reading, yet her circumstances broke my heart over and over again. Her strength and dedication to her family was commendable. How could you not fall in love with her story? This amazing woman who sacrificially suffered for those she loved most in the world. It was devastating and inspiring at the same time. The internal conflicts are gut-wrenching. But I was so immersed in this story I really felt her struggle and found myself battling the what would I do in real life?
I think her battles with the life she was forced into and its impact on her character as a person just made me love her more. She was a deeply loving character but as much love as she had for others she didnāt have it for herself. I wanted to be able to jump into the book and just hug her and tell her I see you. You are beautiful and I see you for who you are. I see you for why and not what you have to do. She was existing, getting by and surviving. But she wasnāt living. She wasnāt enjoying her life. Until she met Jensen. He brought life back into her. He made her feel things no one ever had. It put the carefully crafted walls sheād put up to hide her secrets behind at risk of crumbling down around her. But for the first time she began to think she finally found someone who might be worth the risk. But there is still so much he doesnāt know about her. What will happen when the truth comes to light?

Jensen is deliciously swoony and without a doubt book HUSBAND material. I say husband because this man is better than a book boyfriend. Boy oh boy was he ever hot and so dreamy too yāall.
He had been burned in the past and that had an impact on him. He certainly wasnāt looking for a relationship, but he was instantly drawn to the beautiful yet emotionally barricaded girl from the third floor of his new office building. Quickly he finds himself unable to resist the need to get to know and win this woman over. He knows it will be no easy feat but not one to give up; he sets out to win her over. Heās just so stinking sweet. He is caring and thoughtful. Successful but humble. Supportive and protective. Loving and kind. Gah! The way he was with her melted me into a puddle of goo yāall! While it was gut wrenching for these two characters as well as it was for me being so invested in their journey, I knew it was essential that they traveled those bumps and turns along the way to get to the place where they were truly meant to be. And that place was PERFECT!!

I mean we were set up from page one with hilarious antics. Our main h, Drewās tinder date gone wrong sent us down the path of many, and I do mean many mishaps to come. From Drewās not so happy childhood history, to her job as an executive at a sex toy company, to being changed against her will be prepared to hang onto chapter after chapter. Drew is my spirit chick. Sheās my woman of empowerment and I want to be her when I grow up. Her life isnāt easy but I loved her approach and the way she embraced the suck! Hilariousness, mixed in with some reality jam packed with centuries old vampire rules and customs, policies and politics to the learning of how to be a proper vampire 101. Iām here for all of it. I need this in a movie. I would watch this over and over. I can assure you, Iām gonna reread it, multiple times.Ā
Then we have Diego the all powerful, Alpha Vampire King. Heās the ruler, delicious and dirty. He is immediately drawn to Drew. The fledgling charged without her permission. The fledgling who is also fated and heavily attracted too. He wants her as his queen, but he wants her to want to be queen, by her choice. Not because of being fated, or some centuries old custom, but by her choice. Something that she hasnāt got to make a lot of in her life. He may be a bloodsucker, but he was good down to his ice cold dead heart. For an immortal he sure gave me warm and fuzziesš and kept me hot under the collar.š„Ā
This entire cast of characters with their craziness, even down to the the cat (OMG the cats name) and granny Betty(sheās my home girl yo)šš» it is one thing after another. It really was a such a fabulous break from all the chaos thatās Going on in life right now. So.needed! GAH! The brilliance in which CoraLee and Carrie bounced off of each other was pure perfection. This first book in the hot new series by Kelsey is my favorite Kelsey book so far. Hollis Graham, the swoony, sexy, unstoppable baseball pitcher in his prime struck out some of the best players in the game with his winning arm, and had no problem scoring a home run with all the ladies. When he looks up from the field and sheās a game changer for him, when she and her friend attend one of his games.
This book seems at first glance like itās gonna be just a fun and flirty summer of fun kind of book, which donāt get me wrong, it isā¦ but itās SO.MUCH.MORE!
I laughed so hard when I started because it was adorably charming with fun and flirty banter that was witty and just perfect. This quickly morphed to a heartwarming and engaging story that kept me on the edge of wondering will they or wonāt they ever be able to get it together. I was blown away by the unexpected emotional rollercoaster this book took me on, because when I first started I was just expecting a rom-com. I canāt possibly recommend it enough!
Yāall, this is rom-com, contemporary romance, new adult romance at its best. It invoked every emotion I have and it was a wonderful world wind,they left me simultaneously so satisfied but a little sad it was over, because I could read about Hollis and Lila forever!

Holy hell!! These Dark Kings are gonna be responsible for the early death of panties everywhere, ladies. They are so hot and sexy that undergoods just spontaneously melt in their presence.
Grave!! Oh my Grave!! I went into his story not knowing quite what we were gonna get with him. This man is living his life on the edge. Playing Russian roulette with his life everyday with the choices he makes. Drugs, drinking, womanizing and chasing adrenaline in any way he can. The people that love him the most live in constant fear of when they are gonna find him dead and he doesnāt seem to care. He seems to have accepted his fate that heās just going to end up in an early grave, and thatās preferable to dealing with the hurt that heās had buried for so long.Ā
He is beautiful, loyal to his family and wanted by many women, but this gorgeous man is broken. Broken beyond repair, or so he thinks. But can the right woman believe in him enough to make him believe heās worth fixing? When he meets April she changes the way he looks at lots of things. He doesnāt even realize itās happening and oh my heart never stood a chance. Swooning so hard!Ā
April is this amazingly strong and resilient character who is working her fanny off to keep her flower shop afloat and care for her brother after her mother died. When Grave walks into her shop she is immediately drawn to him, to figuring out the intricacies of this complex and gorgeous man. She knows something isnāt quite right but sheās determined to figure it out, because she believes heās worth it.
I love that he doesnāt feel the need to give into his vices when he is with her, she has become his new vice. His new addiction. She has this ability to help him heal without even realizing it. They are just amazing together. Heās just such a mess on his own in so many ways. But she brings out all the things in him that are the best parts. Boy, and there are many of them. All these are those parts that make him one of the elusive and elite dark kings.
I couldnāt stop reading this book the second I started until I was finished. This book was so full of everything I love and expect from Shantelās books. Lots of yummy chemistry, suspense, lots of secrets, lies and angst. Hot scenes galore and unexpected edge of your seat moments. As always she gives us a full cast of characters to fall for, and Iām already starting to count the days until we get all of their stories.
Grave was another phenomenal addition/addiction to the Dark Kings series. I canāt wait for more!!

My Review
My Friends! Wicked Princess was unputdownable, amazing, phenomenal, and fantastic. There was so much mystery surrounding this book. I will say that sent me in with some pretty high expectations already set. I felt Wicked Princess exceeded the expectations I had going in and more. What I loved was that Biancaās story was so much more than what I was expecting, Biancaās character was more. As far as her love interest I didnāt know who in the world we would see her paired with so I wasnāt even gonna try to speculate. I went into this book pretty much despising Bianca because of who she was in Cruel Prince and Ruthless Knight. She was definitely one of those you love to hate. She was repulsive.Ā
For this reason it is a MUST that you read the previous books in the series so you wonāt be confused with who everyone is and the dynamics of the relationships surrounding them all. Especially their relationship with Bianca.Ā
But holy hades people, when it comes to my feelings about Bianca Covington…Like the character herself, I am a CHANGED WOMAN! I am so in love with her character now, the direction Ashley Jade went with her. I. Canāt. Even! ššš
She redeemed Bianca C!! Holy geez! š¤Æ She is just so tragically perfect and beautiful now, inside and out..WHAT? This broken, wicked princess has a broken crown now yāall! She was no longer on her pedestal above reigning down terror on all the masses and it actually both broke my heart that she wasnāt and made me cheer. The realizations surrounding it all made her far more superior in my eyes than she ever had been. Her suffering hurt me. The unveiling of all of the many layers to Bianca was a devastating pleasure to read. Her journey was so worth all suffering and pain she had to go through to come out on where she ended up. The growth and changes we see in her were infinite and nothing short of astounding.
Now, I wonāt give any spoilers as to who her beau is or what all happens with them and their incredible obstacles and there were obstacles, but I will say I devoured this book in mere hours. There were no other options. Life was on hold until I knew what was gonna happen. It was tough, often hard and heartbreaking at times. Some of the most painful thus far in this series, because we have to endure the most tragic parts of the pasts of the again as those secrets are again revealed and unearthed.
You will be able to read this book really quickly, I did it in just a few hours. I couldnāt wait to see who, what, and just how everything was going to play out for them.
It happens very fast and this is a fairly short book especially when compared to her brother’s books. They were some BIG books. Not to worry though, you certainly donāt feel like you were slighted. Her book was just as good as her brother’s stories and I know for certain I am not alone when saying I absolutely cannot wait for the next book in the series. Bring it on!
