Because these two were just all kinds of steamy and dreamy, forbidden/secret, forced proximity, sports romance deliciousness. A team trade and a recent not so pleasant experience has found both Brock and Joey both living with Caleb. It may have been a while since they had seen each other but suddenly Brock noticed Caleb’s little sister isn’t so little anymore. She is a gorgeous, sweet and oh so tempting grown woman now. He can’t help but to want to touch, taste and tease every part of her and she wants to let him.

I couldn’t get enough of this couple. Brock and Joey’s romantic journey is just the kind that gets me all hot and bothered, gives me heart flutters, and has me rip roarin’ through the pages from the first word to the very last syllable. Tell Me A Story was a unique take on the brother’s best friend trope with its flirty, fun and even a bit filthy banter by way of secret hidden messages and letters left for each other. But also it was during this time that they built this deep and strong connection with each other. Learning about what each other wanted in the future. I love the element of just how hard it was for these two to keep their hands to themselves. They tried, they really did. Their chemistry was just undeniable and palpable but they had this deeply emotional connection that was stronger and really took them both by surprise.

So well written it scorched up the pages and sucked me right into this storyline. A smoking hot and swoony sweet story that while has the element of “will they get caught by the brother/best friend” it is a low angst story without a lot of OM/OW drama. Truly Authors Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black have such great writing chemistry the story flows flawlessly. Now I’m not sure if they just write the entire thing together or switch off chapters or if one takes one character’s POV and the other takes the others but either way I cannot tell which is which if they are.. So they definitely rocked it out all around in my opinion. I loved all the characters in this book. They were just “Chefs kiss 💋 ”The secondary ones as well. ( crossing my fingers for more from these character’s) Definitely pick up this and let Brock and Joey…Tell You Their Story!

Crew Taylor is the picture of perfection, if gruff, grumpy, and prone to throw a punch is your type. Clearly, it’s mine or I wouldn’t be begging him to bite the bullet and claim my virginity as his own.

Sure, he’s a bit of a caveman, broody and bossy and oh so naughty, but that’s sort of the point.

He’s experienced, his heated hazel eyes promising sinful skills in seduction, and I want him to teach me all he knows.

OMG!😱 I freaking loved this story. 🥰 This is just the kind of story that is absolutely why I have one of the fastest one-click clicker fingers in the south. If Meagan Brandy writes I can almost guaran-damn-tee that It for sure is gonna be my jam. Crew and Davis just DID IT FOR ME! Off the charts explosive of course, but this kept just throwing my feels in a whirlwind. I wasn’t expecting that. I’m so used to the arrogant alpha holes in MB’s books that the broken bad boy trying to overcome the past really put a hurtin’ on this gal’s ticker. He melted me, made me swoon, made me pant. Everything about him just worked for me.

Davis was as sweet as candy and I loved how she felt about Crew. She was quirky and funny. 💗 Beyond beautiful both inside and out but with this innocence and radiance ☀️that people are drawn to. She truly had no clue of the attention she captured from the men around her. Probably partly because as long as she could remember she could only see one and one only and that was, Crew Taylor. After he left three years ago with no contact she decided that she had a issue that needed taken care of and he was the one she needed to take care of it. She just needed to convince him to help her out. Armed with all the pros and cons, can she get this grumpy new Crew to give in to her reasoning?

It was emotional, swoony, forbidden, hot, angsty, and unexpected. You can’t help but to fall in love with this couple. The banter, their history, the entire journey. Discovering all the twists and truth bombs, “kindle chuckin’ in a second of pure frustration” times, lip biting moments of angst. This stand-alone, full length, dark mafia romance is a thrilling genre bending tale by the incredibly talented BB Easton. Told in dual POV this is a story that’s both unique and unforgettable. Gritty and gripping to its very core it will gut you. There is violence, darkness, suspense, beautiful Irish setting, and a mystical feel to it with some old Irish folklore. I wasn’t even sure quite what I was expecting going in but I can tell you whatever it was this book by far surpassed it, AND MORE. This book was everything I was looking for to break up the lighter sports romances, and romcoms I have been reading of late. Not that I don’t enjoy them, I do. But I’m a dark reader at heart. 🖤 (Because I’m naturally sunshiney IRL☀️). I’m really glad that Devil of Dublin was able to fully send me reeling deep down in the dark romance hole where I usually hang with the other disturbed folks like myself. 😈

Darby Collins goes to Ireland for the first time as a young child. Folklore sends her on a quest through the woods. While wandering she finds a boy named Kellan. Kellan definitely has some issues going on, but Darby sees something in him, and he in her. Over the years Darby visits and the two grow closer. She is light where he is dark. Although Intensely connected from the beginning, the summer visits come to a stop after a few years. After that these two both underwent some tragic and horrific things which had significant impacts on the people they became as adults.

When life brings them back into each other’s lives it is a crazy emotional ride. I loved these character’s. Their complexities, the depth to them. The things they went through, my god. It was raw and smacked you with blunt force. This book was dark mafia deliciousness and made me gasp as much as my heart raced. I was breathless with anticipation and then my heart melted over these characters. While the journey was not always pretty, that was for sure. It was necessary for them to go through it all to end up right where they did. And that my friends was where they were always meant to be. 🥰

Holy Cow my mind is a jumbled mess right now, and I love it! I’m convinced Jewel. E. Ann could write anything and I would devour it. Rom com, yep. Contemporary, absolutely. Romantic suspense, yes please. Her grocery list, all signs point to yes. Anything and everything. Her latest story, Pieces of a Life, book three in the Life series, is just another example of the magnificence of her writing. Her ability to get quickly immerse readers in the story never ceases to amaze me. I know from the very beginning I fell hard and fast for Colten and Josie and couldn’t wait to read their history leading up to present day that has brought these once childhood sweethearts back into each other’s lives. One wanting nothing more that to get back what they lost seventeen years ago. The other set on not giving in to the one that destroyed their heart all those years ago.

Detective Colten Mosley is fantastic at his job. That job brings him face to face with the one person he’s never really gotten over, the only person he has truly ever loved. Also the person whose heart he obliterated in senior year of high school. Josie Watts was his best friend growing up, until she was his everything. He has always known that given the chance he would never let her go again. No matter what.

Josephine Watts was a feisty and inquisitive girl when she was young. She definitely had unique interests. But she has always been unapologetically who she is. As she got older the dynamics between her and Colten changed and they became so much more. She thought they were planning a future together but apparently the only future he had in store for her was heartache.

Seventeen years later both are back in their home town both successful in their careers. Career fields that put them in contact with each other on the regular. Push and pull and old feelings resurface. Then an event noone could have expected. I was left breathless, warring with what is happening and what it means for the future for Colten and Josie. I am obsessed with this duet already and CANNOT WAIT for the conclusion.

💭Overall Thoughts~ All the delicious back and forth you crave. This second chance, frenemies to lovers, romantic suspense, with a pinch on paranormal/psychic twist is unputdownable and addictive. I can’t get enough of Jewel E. Ann’s writing. Every book is going to instantly grab my attention and hold me prisoner ( lock me up, baby) from the first word to the last. I instantly one-click any of her releases. Her ability to transition from past to present, trope to trope and flawlessly from one characters POV to the other is so smooth and makes it so easy to just plow right on through. This is for sure one of my TOP DUETS of 2022!
