Meagan Brandy has knocked me on my Fanny again y’all! In true Meagan fashion she has delivered a book so unexpected and original I’m almost struggling to find words to convey my love for this book, while not giving away any secrets.
I certainly hope you aren’t afraid of the dark?! The darkest and most delicious monsters come out to play in the dark, and holy hades these are some mouthwatering monsters. With sexy names to match the sexy and dark personas you will find yourself guessing and wondering what in the world is happening?! You quickly learn that the guys characters in this book are so perfectly penned and deep. They are unique and have this eerie and impenetrable vibe going on to their trio. As we go on I can’t explain the feelings in my heart as each one’s own personal story starts to become unveiled. Every emotion I had was tugged at. It didn’t know my heart had room for more of Meagan Brandy’s boys after Brayshaw, but I WAS WRONG!!
Then our gorgeous heroine. She had castle sized walls up too. She was a perfectly polished façade from the front and no one had been able to penetrate past the mask she hid behind…Until now. My heart broke for her because no one knew who she truly was, what she really felt, or why she was the way she was. I was so frustrated for her. I really wanted to throttle on her behalf. She really won me over. Quickly!
If you loved the Brayshaw boys, prepare your hearts ladies. There’s some new man in town and they may just steal your heart away from your favorite Bray! If you thought your Braygirls knew how to bring out their inner “B” well just wait till you meet “Trouble”!
I will say the first 20% or so is a smidge overwhelming with all the characters and names thrown your way, but you will catch on to who’s who pretty quick and then it’s unputdownable! Don’t try to predict because you will be blown away with the shocks and twists thrown at you. This book is original, unique, sinful and sexy in all the best ways. It’s mysterious and shocking and it’s just downright really good! Read it y’all!! Yeah, just read it!!
