Oh My Heart yโall! This flipping story. I love Kelsey Clayton, Yโall! I was so excited for this book to hit my kindle and HOLY WOW! It was everything I had hoped for it to be and more. Iโm not sure I was quite ready for everything Zayn Bronsyn was packing though. He was the ultimate bad boy, all kinds of deliciousness y’all! I absolutely love him! GAH! He and Meelz are perfect for each other, but unfortunately they are oh so forbidden and Just.Cant.Happen. Being that he is her brother’s best friend and roommate and all. This story is so freakin addictive. Zayn and Amelia were perfectly made for each other, they were just inevitable from the get go. Their โhappy private hiddened moments โ absolutely melted my heart.
Every.Single.One.Of.Them! But, oh their journey was never going to be easy, the secrets and lies that were standing in their way in addition to the family drama. Zaynโs lengths in which he would need to go to protect the ones he loves knows no bounds. But thatโs all Iโm going to say about that.
Zayn was the gorgeous guy with the tattoos and piercings and all around sexy bad boy looks, but he really was good and protective of those he loves to the depths of his soul. Living a semi-double life, he was all thatโs good and bad, simultaneously living right and wrong. ( this will make more sense when you read it but #SpoilersSuck so not sorry for being vague) He has secretly had it bad for Amelia from the moment she steps on that college campus. Sheโs everything good and happy and light.
Amelia is amazingly beautiful, super smart with goals in her future. She comes from a good family, and is super close with her somewhat overprotective brother. But he loves her! For years she has secretly loved and fantasized about Zayn. She finally works up the nerve and lays it all on the line only to be left heartbroken and rejected by his hot and cold ways. She can see in his eyes that he really wants her but she has decided if he doesnโt want her, she will find someone who does. Will this light the fire under Zayn to get him to lay claim to her or will he continue with his games, and what will happen if her brother , Easton was to find out what they have been doing behind closed doors?
For so many reasons he feels unworthy of Ameliaโs love and while that hurts my heart I do get it and it makes the emotional journey that much more excruciating to endure, In the best possible way. The push and pull and the angst of him doing what he needs to make her not want him was devastating and frustrating and heartbreaking all at once and it was.just.perfect. Itโs everything I want from a book like this. All.The.Feels! You need to read this book ASAP!

โญโญ๏ธโญโญโญ- SO much HEART in this one little book. This wasnโt what I was expecting from a brothers best friends romance. It was way better! It had me in my feelings and all angsty! The determination of the h to get her H and to make him see himself as she sees him. GAH! You could feel it all coming off the pages. Perfect!
