My Review

Wow! I am so glad I took a chance on this book. While Greek/Roman Mythology books are not usually my thing. I mean, I remember a little from back in school(which was a minute ago), but this isn’t quite the story I remember. Lol
N. Isabelle Blanco has definitely put a more dark and twisted spin on the story of Hercules and Megara.
In this story we are told of Herakles “Kles” and Megara “Meg” and their incredibly complicated relationship. They have this long, twisted, dark and painful history that spans several millennia. Sacrifice and suffering is how they have spent their time apart. Suffering in totally different ways, but both suffered and made many sacrifices, nonetheless. What Meg had to endure was gut-wrenching. It left her bitter and out for revenge. My heart was broken for her. But my heart also broke for Kles, his longing and searching. His suffering with guilt.
I love the strength Meg had. She is one amazingly Bad Ass chick, and I love that Kles wasn’t going to give up his chance to make things right when he had his opportunity. Then when they were working together you just know they were made for one another!! They are perfect together, and so freakin hot!
There were quite a lot of secondary characters thrown in and that almost got a little confusing at times, but I think it’s just because it’s been a while for me with Greek Mythology and it’s not totally my jam. But I still really enjoyed the book. If you like the mythology stuff definitely check this book out! It’s really good.
My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!
⭐⭐️⭐⭐️- Great retelling of a Greek/Roman Mythology. If you are a fan you will love this!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥- Meg and Kles are super hot for each other and so are their love scenes.
🌪Cliffhanger Warning- No Cliffy, but I wouldn’t mind having more of their story.
