My Review

Between Now and Heartbreak is part two of the mind-blowing continuation of Beth and Carter’s story. You MUST read Between Now and Forever first. This book picks up as Carter is still on his journey to find his roots where his genetic ties to Winsome are. That works out at the same time there is a bit of an engagement break going on between Beth and Duke. So Carter and Beth find themselves unable to resist the pull of spending time together.

This book definitely ensured that I fell even more in love and was even more convinced that Beth and Carter are beautifully and inevitably made for one another. Carter and Beth have this undeniable connection that no matter what is going on life seems to bring them together. It’s magnetic and magical and tragic all at the same time. Tragic because they cannot seem to get a break. It is one obstacle after another that they seem to encounter.

But here is something that is finally so big is it insurmountable to think that they could move past this? This book has all the ooey gooey goodness you could possibly want because when Beth and Carter are together they are nothing short of perfection and pure bliss and heat. The bedroom, living room, Hell even public bathroom scenes will melt your panties and your kindle! You will love every single second. Even the angsty and agonizing ones.

Those characters you hated in the first book, you will detest more than ever! You will want to throw your kindle or take a hammer to it. MANY TIMES!!

Gah! The angst and frustration levels are through the roof.

Now this book has the most EPIC of cliffhangers. I did not, could not, never would have imagined that was coming. MADD props to Dylan Allen. I can usually predict and I had NO idea!! Hold your arms out for balance people cause the rug is about to be pulled out from under you!!

I am counting the days until I can get the next book. I gotta know what happens. It can’t end like this. I know from the prologue in book one it doesn’t end like this, but I need to know the rest of the journey. I need to know how we get there.
