My Review

WALK THE LINE By Harlow Layne

Oh my goodness,Y’ALL! I’m DONE!! Like put a fork in me. Done! Harlow never fails to deliver these perfectly delicious heroes and sassy yet sweet heroines. Every.Single.Time.

I’m talking, they capture my heart if not on the first page, within the first few. This time was no different. Gage Walker and Claire Blake took hold of me page one and didn’t let go.

Hot Cop, Gage Walker can arrest me any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I will resist, but only to make it more fun and so he feels he needs to use force. Lol

Seriously though, he’s awesome. From the moment he met Claire our red headed bombshell damsel in distress, he was hooked. He was drawn to this woman in ways he had never been before and he had no clue why.

There were things going on in his town of Oasis and he felt they threatened her safety, so he would do WHATEVER it took to keep her safe. Will Gage throw away the best thing to ever happen to him if he feels it’s in her best interest? Will Claire forgive him when she finds out what he’s been hiding from her?

Claire Blake first meets her angel in blue when he arrives at the scene of her horrible traffic accident. While she is waiting for crews to get her out of her car he’s on “panic duty” and in charge of keeping her talking, alert and calm. She instantly notices how gorgeous this cop is and doesn’t want him to leave her side. Even for a moment. He promises he won’t.

When she gets out of the hospital two days later and he gives her a ride home, he notices two things right off the bat. Her place is a dangerous crap hole, and it’s going to be too hard for her at this point to go home alone, so he offers up his place. There is super intense Insta-lust/ attraction between Gage and Claire. Being a cop he probably knows some firefighters and that’s good because they are hot enough to ignite any surface that they touch together. Yup, they are that. Freakin.Hot!!

I really love the mystery/suspense/crime storyline Harlow has going on in here and I love even more that it’s going to carry over into Tate’s book. This storyline of Gage and Claire by itself was really good but the mystery/suspense addition made this even better. This was a short book and a quick read, but had plenty of goodness packed in it. The timeline of the when and why’s of how everything went down was perfection!

I can’t wait for Tate’s book and the continuation of Gage and Claire. I can already tell Tate’s character will be so different from his brother and I need more Claire!!

My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!

⭐⭐️⭐⭐⭐️-GAGE+CLAIRE=PERFECTION!!This book is just everything I love about Insta-lust/love  amazingness. Plus add in hot cops and a heroine that’s a bit sassy and a bombshell redhead! Yes please!

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥- They can’t even be around each other without practically combusting. Totally smokin’ hot. GAH! Holy Hot Hades! Fire Extinguisher needed!

🌪Cliffhanger Warning- No Cliffy per se. You get a HFN ending. No glimpses into the future or anything, but promises of much more of them in Tate’s book which is fine by me. I was happy with the way it ended, but hope for full HEA at the end of Tate’s book!
