Until a weekend of booze and bad decisions at camp Pour Judgment finds her fake-engaged to country music’s most notorious bad boy, Rhett Taylor, and completely at his mercy.
You see, Korie Potter’s also got a dream, and her new “fiancé” just may have the connections to make it come true.
My Review

I’m am legit obsessed with anything Heather Orgeron writes. She is one of my faves y’all. No Lie. This girl is my soul sister. She’s got a ton of kids, I have a ton of kids, I feel like we’re kindred spirits, in a totally Anne of Green Gables way… Not like a creepy stalker way. Lol

I couldn’t wait for this book. I got a little taste of it in the Poor Judgment novella in the Spring Fling anthology. Which of course is like giving a chunky chick a spoonful of frosting and sending her on her way, but her knowing there’s still more of the frosting to be had. So obviously I had been foaming at the mouth for more of Korie Potter and Rhett Taylor’s story. BTW it was worth the wait. GAH! Heather DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

Originally Korie meets Rhett at a Hollywood party when she attends to see her cousin, Nick who happens to be a drummer in The Rhett Taylor band. Rhett is in a bit of a compromising position when she walks up and it comes as no surprise to Korie.

She is the product of a washed up rockstar with whom she has no relationship due to the way he treated her and her mom her whole life. Because of that she has a strong distaste and distrust for the music industry and the lifestyle and anyone in it. Except for maybe Nick. When Rhett immediately notices the sassy beauty, Nick issues a hands off and a “it will never happen” warning that just basically threw down a gauntlet. Fast forward a few weeks later…

Korie and her BFF Raven have showed up on Spring Break to Camp Poor Judgment. An Adults only week of non-stop drinking, good ol fashion girls vs. boys competitions, and debauchery, set up in a summer camp style atmosphere.

Imagine her surprise when The Rhett Taylor Band shows up to the party it up as well. Now I never went to summer camp as a kid, but dad blastit- I would be the first on the bus to Camp Poor Judgment. Everything about that was hilarious, like rollin on the floor laughing yo AO! I mean the Lush Puppies and Team Tap That!!-for camp team names. Yes Please! That is just the beginning folks. Each amazing event in this whole part of the book is awesome because while yes, it is beyond hilarious. But also because I’m in absolute AWE at Heather’s creativity and attention to everything. She brought us all in and made us feel like a little part of Camp PJ too! Lol

While there Rhett realizes that Korie is unlike any other woman her has known before and he wants to see where this could go. When a silly misunderstanding gives him an opportunity he jumps on it. Will he be able to break down her barriers and win her heart for real?

Korie is skeptical and untrusting where Rhett is concerned, she just can’t help it. It’s what she knows from childhood. When she begins to see Rhett for Rhett and not for the industry he’s a part of, or not base him solely on her experiences with her father she finds herself falling hard and fast for Rhett Taylor. Will he succeed in his quest to make all her dreams come true? What happens when she begins to suspect maybe Rhett wasn’t all that truthful, will her heart be able to handle the devastation?

YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST READ THIS BOOK! There cannot be a Heather O. book that comes out that I’m not going to devour. She has this way with her word wizardry to make a crappy day better, or just a regular day a spectacular day. Her books are freakin’ hilarious and original. You can never even begin to predict the crazy that’s coming your way in the next chapter. What you can predict is that it’s gonna be awesome. She is gonna jam pack that sucker with the perfect amount of funny, hot in sack, conflict, misunderstanding and angst. You know she wants our BP’s and anxiety up a little. We gotta have those “Nooo and “imma bout to throw this kindle” moments. Right before she rounds it out with usually some sort of “ hilarious failure of a grand gesture” for the reunion. So you get your HEA!

My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!
⭐⭐⭐️⭐⭐️- HEATHER IS my Bosom Friend.(another ode to AOGG, apparently I’m on a kick) Every book she writes , I think this one is my favorite. I’m wasn’t sure anything will ever beat Boomerangers… but this just might be the one!! The secondary characters, locations, everything added up make this book sheer perfection!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥- HOLY HOT BISCUITS AND GRAVY! This book may be funny but there ain’t nothing funny about their lovin’ y’all. It’s down & dirty and hot and yummy!
🌪Cliffhanger Warning-NO CLIFFHANGER. This ending though. Never Have I Ever liked and ending so much. Lol
